매주 꽃꽂이로 수고해 주시는 이은실 자매님의 기도글과 사진 올립니다.   _________________________________________________________ 가을이 언제 오나 싶더니...벌써 10월도 중순이 넘어가네요.요즈음 교회 곳곳에서 하나님의 놀라운 역사가 일어나는 좋은소식에 역시 평강과 치유의 하나님께서는 우리 새누리지체들을 사랑으로 품어주시고 계시다는 것에 진정 하나님은혜에 감사 드립니다.찬양연습중에 쓰러진 형제님이 회복되고,아몬드를 먹고 힘들게 고통받던 아이가 치유되고,마음이 아픈 자매가 활짝 웃는 모습이...역시 하나님의 놀라운 역사가 새누리지체들을 사랑으로 회복되게 하시니 이 또한 주님의 축복입니다."너희가 기도할때에 무엇이든지 믿고 구하는 것은 다 받으리라 하시리라.(마 21:22)"내 의지가 아닌 모든것 오직 우리 주님만 믿고 기도하며 믿음,소망,사랑이 가득찬 한주간이 되시길 소망합니다. ___________________________________________________________ 소재:Rose,Pompom,Sunflower,Misc green    

Many believe modernity(세련되) of current worship services liberated us from "old timer" worship services.  "I should wear comfortable and casual clothing, so others won't feel uncomfortable".  "I don't want to encourage "legalism" that discourages seeker-friendly trying to come to God".  "We can "freely" worship God the way we want to worship and our God in his infinite love and understanding will be pleased by the fact that we did our best to come to worship on time.  "We are so modern and accepting, so we are better!!!"   Who created worship?  Did man start worship out of love for God or did God give commands to worship?  If you read Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy (especially Deut 12), it seems very clear that God created regulative principle of worship.   Which of these do we truely represent our knowledge of worshipping one true God of the living?  -  My God is so loving and understanding, He will love me even if I am late for worship service, he will accept my love and devotion. -  My God is so loving and understanding, I dare not be late for worship service, so I can show my love and devotion out of gratitude for my eternal salvation.   -  My God is so loving and understanding, I can wear any comfortable clothing I want and he will accept me for who I am... this is the Bay Area and we live modern times after all.   -  My God is so loving and understanding, I am moved by the Holy Spirit to wear clothing as if I am going to my wedding to be the bride of Christ.   -  My God is so loving and understanding, I will "leave the service early" since it is better to sacrifice than to obey by serving my brothers and sisters with hot food and beverages when the service is done. -  My God is so loving and understanding, I will listen to His message first like Mary did instead of fretting like Martha, so I can strive toward my sanctification.   -  My God is so loving and understanding, I console my fellow brothers and sisters who dishonor worship "it's ok, our loving God understands and we all do that sometimes ...he will still love you because he is Love" -  My God is so loving and understanding, I reprove my fellow brothers and sisters who dishonor worship "the scripture says we are to worship God in spirit and truth".  Jesus came to not to abolish the law, but to fulfill them.  The old testament God and new testament God is the same God.  Do we truly believe that God changed his mind about worship and we are to be the holy and living sacrifice?   Psalm 96:9 9 Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness;     tremble before him, all the earth! John 4:24 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

매주 꽃꽂이로 수고해 주시는 이은실 자매님의 기도글과 사진 올립니다.   _________________________________________________________ 담임목사님께서 건강검진과 쉼을 위해 한국 방문중이십니다.하나님께서는 첫째날부터 엿새날까지 천지를 창조하시고 그 지으시던 일이 다하므로 일곱째 날에 안식하시니라.쉼을 창조하시는 이도 하나님이십니다.그리스도인의 휴가는 일상에서 떠나 재충전할수있는 창조의 기간이 되어야 합니다.때로는 멈추어 쉬는 시간이 필요하며 잠시 멈추어 서서 삶을 되돌아 보며 에너지를 재 충전 하는것도 매우 중요합니다. 오늘 (10월 9일) 2시부터 RTM 예배실에서 봉사자 교육이 있었습니다. 장애의 이해를 공부하면서 어떻게 우리 RTM 친구들에게 믿음생활을 좀 더 잘 할수 있게 도와 줄수 있는지, 무엇을 도와 줄수 있는지 의논하면서 하나님께서 허락하신 사명을 다시한번 되새겨보는 좋은 시간을 갖었습니다.      

매달 첫 번째 수요일은 수요 찬양팀이 모여서 그 달의 예배를 준비하며 예배를 드립니다. 간단한 식사를 하며 삶도 나누고 그 달 예배에 올려 드릴 찬양을 처음 같이 부르며 예배를 시작해서 어느 예배보다 뜨거운 통성기도를 드리고 그동안 주님과의 교제 자리에서 받은 말씀들을 나눕니다. 가끔은 이 날이 수요 찬양 예배가 있는 날인 줄 아시고 교회에 오신 성도님들과 같이 예배를 드리기도 하는데요. 날짜를 착각 하시지 않더라도 이 날을 기억하시고 같이 예배드리러 오시는 모든 성도님들은 대 환영입니다!! 수요찬양팀을 위해서 기도 많이 해주세요. (지나가시던 목사님이 찍어 주신 사진 덕분에 웹에 까지 올리게 되네요...ㅎ)
