President Donald Trump in a nationally and perhaps globally televised graduation speech Liberty University says "In America, we don’t worship government, we worship God."  I question if Donald Trump is a Christian, but if he is, he is spiritually immature for sure.  We definitely need to pray for him, so he can turn to God for wisdom.  We all talk big about worshipping on the Lord's Day in the safe environments called "church buildings", but which one of us can willingly declare that "we worship God."  This world is more and more divisive and God promised that he will heal if we "REPENT (which implies that we turn from our wicked ways) and ask for FORGIVENESS".  The main "Kerygma" of our Lord Jesus Christ is not "fellowship among believers" or "God has wonderful plans for your life (for non-believers... God's judgement is hell") although they are very important, but "repent for the kingdom of heaven is hand" and we "evangelicals" must never forget that the Gospel starts with "repentance" as we turn from our wicked ways.

2 Chronicles 7:14
14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

BTW, he almost goofed on 2 Co. 3:17, so that was a cringing moment.  However, unlike the former President Obama who completely distorted the scriptural reference he quoted "God is love" and made the same-sex marriage the law of the country overriding 34 states that opposed it, President Trump actually get it right... shockingly.!!!

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
