안녕하세요, Faith Land 소식입니다.
Many things are going on this month:
1. OCC(Christmas Operation Child) Make-A-Box Station on Sunday. You can build a box for kids in other countries. It will be available after the service(s).
주일 예배후 준비되어 있는, 다른 나라의 불우한 어린이들을 돕기 위해 신발상자에 선물을 넣어 보내는 OCC에 많은 참여를 부탁드립니다.
2. AWANA... Sparks and T&T will be making stone soup to celebrate Thanksgiving this Friday. Please have your child bring cut vegetables (Potatoes, carrots, onions, celery ribs, green beans, barley, canned diced tomatoes, peas and corn) to add to the soup.
내일 어와나의 Sparks와 T&T에서는 추수감사절을 위한 Stone soup(돌국)을 만들어서 함께 나누어 먹을 예정입니다. 전래동화인 Stone soup은 전쟁을 마치고 돌아가던 세명의 군인들이 마을에서 음식을 얻지 못하자 큰 솥에 돌을 넣어 국을 만들기 시작합니다. 마음이 닫혀있던 동네사람들이 한사람씩 다가와 군인들이 무엇을 하는지 궁금해서 물어보자 군인들이 대답합니다. 돌로 맛있는 국을 만드는데 양파만 좀 더 넣으면, 당근만 하나 있으면, 그리고 또 다른 사람에게는 양배추가 있어야 하는데 하며 대답하자 어떤 이는 고기도 가져오고 해서 결국에는 모든 마을 사람들이 조금씩 가져온 야채와 음식들로 국을 끓여 다함께 나누어 먹었다는 훈훈한 이야기입니다.
아이들이 국에 넣을 수 있도록 야채들을 미리 씻고 잘라서 보내어 주세요!^^
3. Christmas Musical Practice... We have practice every Sunday at 1:30pm. And Saturday practice (12/6& 12/13) will be in the main sanctuary from 1:00pm.
매주 주일에는 연습이 있지만 토요일 연습은 추수감사절 이후 12/6과 12/13, 오후 1시부터 본당에서 있을 예정입니다.
4. These are the messages I shared with kids the past Sunday:
• 1st Session:"Parable of the Sower!" 씨 뿌리는 비유
(Matthew 13:1-23)
• 2nd Session: The Story Book Chapter 27, "The Resurrection!" 부활하신 예수님 (Matt 28:1-10)
5. Justin Song finally came back from Korea.^^ Please continue to pray for his complete recovery!

I was listening to the radio(K-Love) and they said that there is a drive through prayer in Fremont. Holy Spirit Catholic Church started this for the people who want to get prayers from the pastor. We have a drive through coffee. Why not drive through God? I felt sad when I heard this....

기독교 라디오 방송을 듣던 중, 프리몬트의 카톨릭 교회에서 Drive through 기도를 시작했다는 이야기를 들었습니다. 바쁜 요즘 사람들에게 커피를 차에서 내리지 않고 바로 살 수 있는 Drive through, 하나님과의 대화시간도 Drive through? 그런데 웬지 슬퍼지는 것은 왜일까요... 오늘 하루도 우리 아버지 하나님과 함께 하시는, 그리고 서로를 위해 기도하시는 하루가 되기를 소원합니다!
