유후! 드디어 오늘 VBS, 의료, 그리고 전도사역이 시작됩니다!!열심히 준비한 만큼 기대도 큽니다정말 많이 찾아와준 아이들과 선생님들과의 단체사진으로 레츠고우~Woohoo! VBS, medical ministry, and evangelism officially begin today! We've prepared so much and are full of excitement.Let’s get started with a big group photo with all the kids and teachers who showed up!선교팀원들이 나오기전에 센터앞을 정리해주시는 형제님 #둘로스의삶Before the mission team came out, a brother quietly cleaned up the front of the center.LifeOfAServant (Doulos)오늘 아침예배는 드디어 센터에서! 여기 아이들은 얼리버드입니다. 그래서 선교팀도 덩달아 얼리버드 모드6시반에 모여서 예배를 시작합니다This morning's worship was finally held at the center!The kids here are true early birds, so the mission team had to switch to early bird mode too.We gathered at 6:30 AM to begin worship.오늘 있을 사역팀들을 위해 그들을 둘러싸고 기도하였습니다 #기도필수We prayed over today’s ministry teams, surrounding them with prayer. #MustPray ????아침의 선선한 공기를 뜨겁게 데울정도의 기도가 계속 흘러나왔습니다담임목사님이 다름 팀을 외치지 않으면 기도가 끊이지 않았습니다평소라면 기도소리가 어느정도 있으면 약해졌지만 그만큼 선교팀원 모두가 얼마나 이 사역들에게 간절한지 그리고 하나님의 일하심 보기를 얼마나 원하는지 느낄수 있는 중보기도의 시간이었습니다 #담임목사님 미소폭발 #매우만족The morning air was cool, but our prayers were so passionate they could’ve warmed it up. The intercession didn’t stop unless our lead pastor called out for the next team. Normally, the volume of prayer would fade after a while, but today it stayed strong—showing just how deeply our team longs for these ministries and desires to see God move. It was truly a powerful time of intercession. #PastorSmilingWide #DeeplySatisfied중보기도로 뜨거워진 마음을 가지고 담임목사님께서 민수기 17장을 바탕으로 말씀을 전해주셨습니다.또한번 저희에게 하나님의 권의와 주권을 세우기 원하심에 리마인더를 가지게 되었습니다더운 날씨 또는 물/전기/인터넷 끊김 여러가지 일들로 정말로 쉽게 불평이 일어날수 있는 상황속에서도 끝까지 그 자리에서도 순종하길 원하시는 하나님의 마음을 옅볼수 있었습니다With hearts stirred through intercessory prayer, our lead pastor shared a message based on Numbers 17. Once again, we were reminded that God desires to establish His authority and sovereignty among us. Even in situations where it’s easy to complain—whether it's the heat, or sudden loss of water, electricity, or internet—we could sense God’s heart, calling us to remain obedient and faithful, right where we are오늘은 각자의 마니또(제일 모른다고 생각하는 사람)를 정해주셔서 서로를 위해 하루종일 기도해주고 챙겨주는 시간도 가졌습니다잘 모른다고 생가했던 분들과 하루의 기도제목을 나누며 그들이 오늘 하루 소망하는것에 알게되고 하나님의 그들한테서 원하시는 것들이루고자 하시는 것들을 옆볼수가 있었습니다Today, each of us was assigned a ‘Manitto’—someone we thought we knew the least—and spent the day praying for and looking after them. As we shared prayer requests with people we hadn’t known well before, we began to understand what they were hoping for that day and caught a glimpse of what God might be doing in and through them과일의 왕인 두리안 등장!! 숟가락을 들고 뭔가에 홀린듯이 다가갑니다 #냄새도 맡아보고The king of fruits, durian, has arrived! With spoons in hand, we approached as if under a spell—some even dared to take a whiff. #BravingTheSmell아침은 현지 캄보디안 국수를 먹었습니다 #한국무국맛 #이열치열For breakfast, we had local Cambodian noodles — surprisingly similar to Korean radish soup! #HotSoupOnAHotDay든든한 밥도 이제 다 먹었으니 사역들 시작!!Now that we’ve had a hearty meal, it’s time to begin the day’s ministries!정말 많은 아이들이 찾아봤습니다. 어떤 찬양을 할까? 어떤 율동을 할까?눈이 빤짝거리며 기대하는 모습에 웃음이 저절로 나왔습니다So many kids showed up today! What songs should we sing? What motions should we do? Seeing their eyes sparkle with excitement, I couldn’t help but smile조금이라도 재미있게 해주려고 표정연기까지 #힘들어서인가?ㅎㅎI even put on some exaggerated facial expressions to make it a bit more fun! #or was he too tired?엄청난 열기였던 ONE WAY JESUS!아이들과 다 함께 떼창을하니 더욱 더 힘이 느껴졌던 시간이었습니다The energy was incredible during 'ONE WAY JESUS!' Singing together with the kids made the experience even more powerful.담임목사님도 뛰게 만드는 율동팀의 열기The enthusiasm of the dance team was so contagious, it even got our lead pastor moving! 뛰어놀고 찬양하고 데이빗 전도사님께서 예수님에대해 말씀을 전해주셨습니다한단어 한단어들이 아이들의 마음에 심겨졌기들 기도합니다We jumped, played, and sang, and then Pastor David shared the message about Jesus.We pray that each word was planted in the hearts of the children엄청난 열기를 뚫고 수고해준 율동팀he dance team who persevered through the intense heat with hard work and dedication!얼음주머니 필수Ice packs are a must!아이들이 너무나도 좋아했던 Sin Chair 스킷. 어른들도 미소짓게히는 시간이었습니다The kids absolutely loved the Sin Chair skit. It was a time that made even the adults smile그냥 웃고 넘어가는 것이 아니라 스킷속에 있었던 메세지가 그들안에 잘 자리잡았기를 기도합니다It wasn’t just a moment of laughter, but we pray that the message within the skit has taken root in their hearts여러팀들로 나뉘어져서 활동을 했습니다 #게임팀We were divided into several teams for activities. #GameTeam#태권도팀 #Taekwondo team의료팀 #medical team 안경스테이션 #glasses station 크레프트 팀 #craft team모든 아침 사역이 끝난후 모여서 전도모임 시간을 가졌습니다After all the morning activities, we gathered for a time of evangelism meeting.한 사람만이라도 품고 나아가는 마음과 하나님께 우리를 맡기면 하나님이 이루실것에 대해 나눴습니다.이 시간을 통해 선교를 돌아보며 한영혼이라도 하나님꼐 돌아오기를 원하는 마음을 가졌습니다We shared about having a heart to reach even one person and trusting God to accomplish His work through us.Through this time, we reflected on our mission and developed a deeper desire for even one soul to return to God저희가 모임을 하는 동안 아이들은 기독교 만화 영상을보며 오후를 보냅니다While we had our meeting, the kids spent the afternoon watching Christian cartoons자 이제 노방전도팀 준비완료하고 나갑니다!"Now, the street evangelism team is ready and heading out!같이계시던 친구분과 함께 복음을 전해드렸습니다. 한분한분 차례대로 영접기도를 여쭤보았습니다.첫번째 분은 생각해보시겠다고 하시고 집으로 가셨습니다. 첫번재에서 그런 반응을 경험하니 다른 형제님도 영접을 안하시겠다는 생각이 들었습니다하지만 그것을 우리의 인간적인 생각이었습니다. 형제님은 예수님을 주로 받아드리기 원하셨고 가정의 평화를 위해 기도 부탁도 해주셨습니다그 한순간 인간적인 판단으로 생각하고 다른 형제님께 물어보지 않고 갔다면 하나님이 얼마나 슬퍼하셨을까 생각해봅니다We shared the gospel with two friends. One by one, we asked each person if they would like to say the sinner's prayer. The first person said they would think about it and left. After that response, we almost assumed that no one else would accept Jesus, but that was just my human thinking. In the end, the brother did want to accept Jesus as his Lord, and he also asked for prayer for peace in his family. I now reflect on how sad God would have been if I had let my human judgment stop me from asking the other brothers, and if I had walked away without giving them the opportunity.복을을 전할때 미지근한 반응을 보이시던 자매님. 표정도 그리 좋지 않아보여서 아닌가보다 했는데영접하시고 가정을 위해 기도해달라고 하셨습니다 #역시인간적인짧은생각노굳When sharing the gospel, the sister showed a lukewarm response, and her expression didn’t seem very positive, so I thought maybe she wasn’t interested. However, she accepted Jesus and asked for prayer for her family. #OnceAgainHumanShortJudgmentNoGood사고로인해 머리를 다치셔서 거의 맹인이 되신 아저씨를 만났습니다. 저희가 복음팔찌를 설명하려고하자 아들에대해 이야기 해주셨습니다.아들이 감사하게도 선교사님이 운영하시는 학교/교회를 다니고 가서 배운것들을 항상 아버지께 나눈다고 하셨습니다.전도팔찌에 대해서도 설명해주었고 배운 찬양과 율동을 아버지께 다 전해준다고 하였습니다.복음을 저희가 전하고 영접기도를 권해드렸을때 받아드리셨습니다.. 맹인이라 경제활동을 하실수 없는것에 대해 기도제목을 부탁하셨습니다.하나님의 치유하심이 임하시기를 기도부탁드립니다.We met an elderly man who had almost become blind due to an accident. When we tried to explain the gospel bracelet, he started talking about his son. His son is thankfully attending the school/church run by the missionary, and always shares what he learns with his father. He explained the evangelism bracelet already, and the son also shares the songs and dances he learns with his father. When we shared the gospel and offered prayer for salvation, the man accepted. He asked for prayer regarding his inability to work due to his blindness. Please pray for God's healing to be upon him이 할머니는 전쟁 이후로 시력을 잃으셨다고 말씀하셨습니다.  예수님의 빛이 그녀의 삶의 어둠을 회복시켜 주시기를 기도했습니다할머니와 할아버지 두 분 모두 예수님을 구주로 영접하셨습니다This grandma told us she has been blind since the war.Brother youngwoo prayed for her that the light of Jesus will restore the darkness of her life.Both her and her husband accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior.Will 형제님께서 이 분과 텍사스 티셔츠 덕분에 대화를 시작할 수 있으셨다고 합니다. 그분도 예수님을 영접하셨습니다. 할렐루야!Brother was able to connect with this man because he had a Texas tshirt lol he accepted Jesus as well. PTL!이 할머니는 예수님을 영접하시고, 우리가 집을 떠날 때 "하나님이 당신들을 축복하시길"이라고 축복해 주셨습니다.This grandma accepted then blessed us saying “God bless you” as we left her house.이 소녀는 저희가 집에서 집으로 걸어가며 복음 팔찌를 읽고 연습하고 있었습니다. 그녀가 캄보디아에서 다음 전도자가 되기를 기도합니다!This girl was reading and practicing the gospel bracelet as we were walking from house to house.Praying she will be the next evangelist in Cambodia!그녀는 예수님을 영접하고 반지에서 빨간 실(미신팔찌)을 제거하기로 결정했습니다. 보시다시피, 그녀는 남자처럼 옷을 입으려고 하고 있습니다.우리는 그녀를 위해 기도하며, 복음 팔찌의 초록색 구슬이 그리스도 안에서 새로운 삶을 대표하게 되기를 기도했습니다.She accepted and decided to remove the red string from her ring. As you can see, she’s trying to dress more like a boy. We prayed for her that the green bead from the gospel bracelet will represent new life in Christ.부인을 잃으신 형제님이 센터로 찾아오셨습니다하나님이 마음을 만지셔서 한번 저희가 기도하면 더 많이 기도하시고 교회도 나오겠다고 하셨습니다이것이 하나님의 은혜입니다. 새상에 줄수 없는 평안을 얻으시고 한층 밝아지신 형제님 #하나님이하십니다A brother who lost his wife came to the center. God touched his heart, and he said that if we pray for him, he will pray more and start coming to church. This is God's grace. He received peace that the world cannot give and has become brighter. #GodIsWorking정말 많은 분들이 예수님을 영접하셨습니다. 특이 인상 깊었던 것은 선교사님이 운영하시는 학교/교회에서 배운 아이들이집으로 돌아가 가족들에게 복음을 전하는 것이었습니다. 한사람만 복음이 들어가도 온 가족이 구원받을수 잇다는 소망을 보았습니다이 귀한아이들이 캄보디아 땅을 하나님께 돌아오게만드는 귀한 도구로 쓰임받기를 기도합니다 So many people accepted Jesus! What was particularly impressive was that the children who learned at the school/church run by the missionary went home and shared the gospel with their families. I saw the hope that if one person receives the gospel, the whole family can be saved. I pray that these precious children will be used as valuable tools to bring Cambodia back to God.맛있는 저녁을 먹고 저녁예배!오늘 예배에서는 저희안에서의 회개를 다루게 하셨습니다. 담임 목사님께서 사울과 다윗의 이야기를 해주시면서 후회는 했지만 끝까지 회개하지 않은 사울에 대해 말씀해주셨습니다.저희 삶에서 알고 지은죄 모르고 지은죄 정말 작은 죄 하나하나를 내려놓는 시간이었습니다.회개하지 않는 사람은 하나님께 더 나아갈수 없습니다. 매순간 자신의 죄를 인정하며 회개하며 살아가기를 갈망합니다.In today's worship, we focused on repentance within ourselves. Pastor shared the story of Saul and David, highlighting how Saul regretted his actions but never truly repented. We reflected on both the sins we are aware of and those we are unaware of, taking time to lay down even the smallest sins. A person who does not repent cannot draw near to God. We long to live each moment acknowledging our sins and repenting.무거운 죄의 짐을 내려놓고나니 단기선교의 꽃 서로 축복하는 시간이 찾아왔습니다After laying down the heavy burden of sin, the time for mutual blessing among the short-term mission team arrived, the highlight of the mission. It was a moment to uplift and encourage one another, filled with love and gratitude for the journey together.눈을 마주치며 서로를 위해 축복하는 찬양의 시간이 많이?부끄럽지만눈빛을 바라보며 하나님이 형제/자매님을 통해 이루실 일들을 위해 기도하고 하나님의 사랑을 느끼는 시간을 가졌습니다We had a time of blessing each other through praise, looking into each other's eyes. Although it felt a bit awkward, we prayed for the work that God will do through each brother and sister. It was a moment to feel God's love and to deeply appreciate one another’s role in His plan. 

어제 늦은 시각의 도착으로 숙소에서 쉬고 오늘 바로 아침에 선교센터로 이동합니다!도로공사로 버스로 걸어가야했던We arrived late last night, got some rest, and moved to the mission center first thing this morning.Because of roadwork, we had to walk a portion of the way.센터의 더위를 기대하며 발라보는 선크림 #feat 가부키상Putting on sunscreen in anticipation of the center’s heat! #KabukiVibes아침예배는 시간상 버스에서 드립니다. 가부키상의 기도로 아침예배를 시작했습니다Pressed for time, we held our morning worship on the bus, beginning with a heartfelt prayer from Kabuki-san데이빗 전도사님께서 찬양을 인도해주셨습니다Praise was led by Pastor David천로역정에서 은혜받았던 내 영혼이 은총입어라는 찬양으로 시작했습니다 We opened with the hymn Since Christ my soul from sin set free, a song that deeply moved us during our Pilgrim’s Progressjourney.서로를 위해 기도해주는 시간도 가졌습니다We also took time to pray for one another손경일 담임목사님께서 말씀을 나누시기 전에 어떠한 상항 가운데서도 하나님을 찬양해야하는 것에 대한 리마인드를 주셨습니다.그리고 민수기 16:36-50 바탕으로 말씀을 전해주셨습니다. 이 이야기의 주제는 하나님의 주권과 질서에 대한 경고입니다. 교만은 질서를 무시하고 하나님을 대적하는 죄이며, 하나님은 이를 심각하게 다루십니다. 아론은 죽음을 무릅쓰고 백성을 위해 나아가며 참된 리더십을 보여줍니다. 어떤 배경이든 주님께 드려진 것은 거룩하게 쓰임받을 수 있습니다. 사역을 앞둔 선교팀에게 조금 더 질서있게 겸손한 마음으로 나아가야한다는 것을 주님께서 말씀해주셨습니다Before sharing the Word, Senior Pastor Kyungil Son reminded us that we must praise God in every circumstance. He then preached from Numbers 16:36–50, emphasizing God's sovereignty and the importance of divine order. The story serves as a warning: pride disregards God's order and opposes Him, and God treats it with utmost seriousness. Aaron demonstrated true leadership by risking his life to intercede for the people. The message reminded us that anyone, regardless of background, can be made holy and used by God when surrendered to Him. For us as a mission team, it was a timely call to move forward with humble heart and greater order in our service.기도하며 말씀을 나누다 보니 어느덧 센터 도착! #NEWHOPESCHOOLIn prayer and reflection on the Word, we found ourselves already at the center! #NEWHOPESCHOOL아이들이 저희들을 반갑게 맞아주었습니다The children welcomed us with joyful hearts새로생긴 툭툭 수쿨 버스 #많게는 18명까지 타고 온다는 말이...어떻게 가능한거죠?The newly introduced tuk-tuk school bus—word is, it can carry up to 18 kids. How is that even possible?센터에 안전하게 잘 도착함에 감사하는 시간을 가졌습니다We took a moment to express our gratitude for safely arriving at the center내일부터 있을 VBS를 위해 가져온 장식들도 꾸미는 시간을 가졌습니다We spent some time decorating for the VBS happening tomorrow!제작년에는 입으로 불어서 어지러움증을 호소하였는데 #기계의 발전 붸리굳Two years ago, we were blowing it by mouth and getting dizzy, but now thanks to technology... #Progress가방속에서 뒤엉킨 그물 풀기 #엄청난 인내Trying to untangle the net from my bag #UnbelievablePatience더위를 견디지 못했던 바람넣는 기계에게 쉼울 주고 자전거 바퀴 펌프로 다시 펌프 시작The pump couldn't take the heat, so we let it rest and then switched to the bike tire pump to keep going그렇게 완성된 큰 야자수 나무들 사이에 앉아있는 아이들The children sitting happily among the tall palm trees we had just put together한 형제님께서 아이들의 이름을 외우려고 노력하시는 모습 #쉽지않다One of the brothers was trying his best to remember the children's names #noteasyVBS 데코시간을 마치고 의료사역 준비도 셋업하였습니다After finishing the VBS decorations, we also set up for the medical ministry어떻게하면 아이들이 더 좋아할까 연구결과: 돌고래 공중에 매달기How can we make it even more fun for the kids? Hang a dolphin in the air!선생님 이름 알리기 시간Time to introduce the teachers모든 셋업을 마치고 선교사님이 준비해주신 맛있는 점심시간!After finishing all the setup, we enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by the missionary!열대과일 한상차림A feast of tropical fruits수박 씨가 너무 많다며 열심히 빼서 드시는 분 포착Spotted someone carefully picking out all the watermelon seeds before enjoying it!식사를 마치고 놀러온 아이들과 함께 게임을 하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다 #무궁화꽃이피었습니다We wrapped up our meal and had fun playing games with the kids who came to visit! 윷놀이도 가르쳐 주고We taught them how to play Yutnori내일 있을 사역을 위해 기도하고 연습하는 시간도 가졌습니다We also took time to pray and practice for the ministry tomorrow태권도로 놀아주시는 형제님The brother who entertained the kids with some Taekwondo  자 이제 노방전도 나갈시간!Time to go out for street evangelism now!   몇달전 아내를 잃고 슬픔에 잠겨 있는 형제님에게 천국의 소망을 전하고 다같이 마음의 치유를 위해 기도해드렸습니다아내분은 참고로 저희가 센터에 올때마다 만나고 치료해드린 분인데 안타까운 소식을 들어서 저희도 마음이 좋지 않았지만자매님은 영접하시고 천국에 계심을 알기에 더욱 더 천국 소망을 간절하게 쉐어할수 있었습니다We met a brother who lost his wife few months ago and he was deep in sorrow. We shared with him the hope of heaven and prayed together for healing of his heart. His wife, whom we had met and treated every time we visited the center, passed away, and although we were deeply saddened by the news, we found comfort in knowing she had accepted Christ and is now in heaven. This gave us even more reason to share the hope of heaven with him 영접하시고She accepted Christ 미신팔찌를 끊으신 자매님The sister decided to break free from her superstition bracelet.   선교팀이 전도하는 모습에 힘입어 쑥스러웠지만 친언니에게 복음을 전한 자매님Inspired by the mission team's evangelism, the sister, despite her shyness, found the courage to share the gospel with her older sister  자매님도 영접하시고 미신팔찌를 끊으시는 역사를 경험했습니다The sister also accepted Christ and experienced the transformation of breaking free from her superstition bracelet  노방전도후 저녁도 맛있게 먹고 이젠 예배드릴 시간!We had a great dinner after street evangelism, and now it's time for worship!  이번 예배를 통해 담임목사님께서 예전에 주신 하나님의 은혜에 얽매이거나 비교하지 말고 그때그때 주시는 주님의 은혜를 경험하라고 하셨습니다In this worship, our pastor encouraged us not to be stuck in past grace or comparisons, but to embrace the grace the Lord gives us in the present.  처음으로 선교/노방전도를 다녀오신 형제님께서 나눔을 해주셨습니다길에서 만난 엄마와 아이에 대해 나눠주셨는데요. 아이가 팔에 장애가 있었습니다. 신기하게도 서로 같이 복음을 나누며 딸의 장애에 아파하는 엄마의 마음을 느끼고 복음을 전하면서 소망을 함께했습니다The brother, on his first mission/street evangelism, shared about a mother and child they met. The child had a disability, and as they shared the gospel, the brother felt the mother's pain and together they found hope in the message of Christ  남편분을 대신해서 나눠주신 자매님.지난번 캄보디아 선교를 오셔서 복음의 대한 뜨거움을 찾으시고 노방전도를 직접 전하시는 은혜가!전해야하는 순간 영어로 해야할 용기가 안나셨는데 갑자기 캄보디아분이 한국말을 시작하셨다는!!역시 그냥 넘어가게 하시지 않는 하나님 ㅎㅎ 한국말로 편하게 복음을 나누고 돌아오셨습니다 ㅎㅎThe sister, who shared on behalf of her husband, experienced God's grace during his last trip to Cambodia when he found a renewed passion for evangelism. Although he was nervous to share in English, God surprised him when the Cambodian person started speaking Korean! He was then able to comfortably share the gospel in Korean #Godisfunny     캄보디아땅을 위해 축복하고 그리고 복음의 전파를 막는 악의 권세들에게 대적기도를 하였습니다We blessed the land of Cambodia and prayed against the forces of evil that oppose the spread of the gospel  서로를 위해 기도해주는 시간도 가졌습니다We had a time of praying for one another            예배가 끝난후 쉴수 있을줄 알았지만 나눔시간과 암송구절 테스트 시간이 어김없이...After the worship, I thought we could finally rest, but as always, it was time for sharing and the scripture memorization test...  통과해야만 잘수있다 #제자반보다 더 빨리 더 많이 암송구절을 하게되는 선교의 역사You can only rest after passing it. #Miracle where we memorize scripture faster and more than in the discipleship class  알찬 하루였습니다! 내일은 VBS와 의료사역이 시작됩니다! 모든사역이 하나님의 주권아래에 이루어지고 하나님의 사랑이 오신 모든이에게 전해지기위해 기도해주세요!It was a productive day! Tomorrow, VBS and the medical ministry begin.Please pray that everything is done under God's sovereignty and that His love reaches all those who come!

봉지아~ 오늘은 다시 미국으로 돌아가는 날입니다. 돌아가는 길도 두그룹으로 나뉘어서 가는데요. 첫팀은 리우에서 아침부터 짐을 싣고 공항으로 출발합니다. Bom dia~ Today is the day we return to the United States. Our return journey is also divided into two groups. The first group leaves Rio in the morning, loading their luggage and heading to the airport.공항행 버스에서도 어김없이 기도와 말씀으로 하루를 시작합니다.Even on the bus to the airport, we begin the day with prayer and the Word.버스인지라 옆사람과 받은 은혜 나누기!Since we are on the bus, we share the grace we've received with the person next to us!그렇게 나누다보니 공항에 도착했어요.As we continued sharing, we arrived at the airport.공항에 내려 마지막 짐정리를 하고, 체크인까지 마무리를 합니다.Once we got off the bus, we finished organizing our luggage and completed the check-in process.오늘까지 함께해주신 선교사님들과 이제 헤어져야할 시간이 다가왔습니다. 저희는 떠나지만 현지에 남으셔서 브라질땅의 영적부흥을 위해 모든 사역을 이어나가실 선교사님들을 진심으로 사랑하고 축복합니다. It was time to say goodbye to the missionaries who have been with us until today. While we are leaving, we sincerely love and bless the missionaries who will stay behind to continue their work for spiritual revival in Brazil.샌프란시스코에 내릴때까지 이번 선교기간 동안 외웠던 말씀구절들을 필기하고 간증문을 작성하는 팀원들. 팀원들의 간증문이 궁금하시다면 브라질 선교보고가 있을 토요예배를 꼭 놓치지 마세요~! :)Team members spent the flight writing down Bible verses they memorized during the mission trip and composing testimonies. If you are curious about the members’ testimonies, then don’t forget to attend the Saturday Morning Service when the Brazil Mission will be reported.제 책도 이제 너덜너덜해졌네요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.My booklet looks pretty worn now :).지원형제님께서는 비행기에 있던 멀미용 종이봉투를 말씀으로 꽉꽉채우셨습니다. 손목사님도 처음 보신 기발한 방법이었고 어떤 한 팀원은 말하기를 “말씀을 토해내셨군요”라는 표현도 쓰셨어요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.Jiwon filled up the paper bag meant for motion sickness with Bible verses. Pastor Son also found this method new and creative, and one team member even said, "He threw up the Word!" hahaha.오랜 비행 후에 첫 팀은 샌프란시스코에 무사히 도착했습니다! After a long flight, the first team arrived safely in San Francisco!저희를 데리러 와주신 새누리 차량들. The vehicles from church were there to pick us up.두번째 그룹은 브라질에서 비행기 탑승까지 했다는 소식과 사진을 전달 받았습니다.We received news and pictures that the second group had boarded their flight from Brazil.내일 오전에 도착하는 위에 팀도 무사히 도착하기를, 또는 이번 선교를 통해 받은 수많은 은혜를 묵상하면서 돌아온 일상에서도 우리 모두의 진정한 미션인 “한 영혼”에 대한 마음을 잃지않는 선교팀 한명한명 그리고 모든 성도님들 되시기를 기도합니다. 함께 선교를 위해 기도해주신 분들께도 감사의 마음을 전합니다~!I pray that the team arriving tomorrow morning will also arrive safely, and that through this mission, we will all reflect on the many blessings we've received and, in our daily lives, keep our hearts focused on the true mission of "one soul." I pray that each member of the mission team and all the believers will hold on to this mission. 봉지아~ 오늘은 께이마두스에서 마지막 VBS 사역의 날입니다. Bom dia~ Today is the last day of VBS ministry at Queimados.바쁜 일정이라 아침식사 후에 바로 교회로 가서 본당에 VBS 장식을 준비합니다. Because of a busy schedule, after breakfast, we will go straight to the church to prepare the decorations for the VBS in the main sanctuary.하루를 주님께 맡기는 아침예배를 드립니다. 오늘도 영적싸움에서 승리하실 주님을 선포하며 기도합니다. We begin the day with a morning worship service, dedicating it to the Lord. We pray, declaring victory over the spiritual battle the Lord will bring today.사랑하는 마음으로 아이들을 맞이하고 오늘 VBS 개막식은 태권도 시범으로 이루어집니다. We welcome the children with love, and today's VBS opening ceremony will feature a Taekwondo demonstration. 율동과 말씀, 그리고 다시 한번 VBS의 5개 스테이션으로 나뉩니다. 태권도, 게임, 한글반, 영어반, 만들기반! 마지막 날인지라 더욱 더 하나님의 사랑을 아이들과 나누려고 하는 모습들이 사진에서도 보이는거같네요.Body worship and sermon. Then again, the VBS will be divided into five stations: Taekwondo, Games, Korean Class, English Class, and Crafting! Since it’s the last day, we can really feel the effort to share God’s love with the children, which can even be seen in the photos.오늘은 VBS를 끝내기 전에 아이들 중에 혹시라도 예수님을 영접한 적이 없던 아이들에게 예수님을 지금 이 시간 구주로 영접하고 싶은 아이가 있는지 물어보는 시간도 있었습니다. 오전 VBS에는 어린 친구들 5명이 나와서 예수님을 영접하고, 영접기도를 드리고, 모든 팀원들과 학생들이 같이 나와서 축복기도까지 드립니다.Before we finish VBS today, we take time to ask the children if any of them have never received Jesus as their Savior, and if anyone wants to accept Him right now. During the morning session, five young children came forward, received Jesus, prayed the acceptance prayer, and everyone—both team members and students—came together to offer a blessing prayer. VBS 피날레는 예수님 스킷과 바디워십으로 하나님께 올려드립니다.The VBS finale was a Jesus skit and body worship, offered up to God.그렇게 오전 VBS가 마치고, 저희 팀은 숙소로 돌아가서 점심을 먹고, 곧바로 교회로 돌아가 오후 VBS를 준비합니다.After the morning VBS, our team returned to the accommodation for lunch and then went straight back to the church to prepare for the afternoon VBS.오후 VBS 순서는 오전이랑 동일하게 흘러갔어요!The afternoon VBS schedule followed the same flow as the morning!   오후때는 7명의 아이들이 영접기도 시간때 나와서 예수님을 영접했습니다! 승주찬!In the afternoon, seven children came forward during the acceptance prayer time to accept Jesus as their Savior. Praise the Lord!오후 VBS 순서도 끝나니 앞에서 모지사역부터 저희를 도와주시던 데보라 선교사님과 인사를 해야하는 시간이 왔습니다. 선교사님 가정은 이번 사역에 통역뿐만 아니라 식사준비와 무엇이든 필요하면 도와주시고 선교를 온 저희를 되로 섬겨주셨습니다. 앞으로도 선교사님 가정과 브라질의 아이들과 선교사역를 위해서 함께 기도합시다. Once the afternoon VBS was finished, it was time to say our goodbyes to Missionary Deborah, who had been helping us with ministry from the front. She and her family not only translated, but also helped with meal preparation and served us in every way possible. We will continue to pray for her family and the children in Brazil, as well as for future missionary work.께이마두스 학교 디렉터와도 감사와 굿바이 인사를 건네고 기도로 축복합니다.We also expressed our gratitude and said our goodbyes to the Queimados school director, blessing them in prayer.이제 교회 정리와 짐 정리를 합니다.Next, we began cleaning up the church and organizing our belongings.숙소에 다시 돌아와서 예배를 드리는데 숙소 거실이 좁고 인원은 너무 많아서 (께이마두스 교인들도 몇분 동참하셨어요) 저의 예배 뷰는 이런 느낌이었어요.Back at the accommodation, we had a worship service, but the living room was small, and there were so many people (some Queimados church members joined us), so this was the view I had for worship.“Jesus in me”로 서로 예수님의 사랑을 표현하고, 기도하고, 축복하고, 또 께이마두스 교인들을 위해서 기도하는 시간도 있었어요. 마지막으로 께이마두스 ADEQ 교회 사모님의 마무리기도로 저희는 하루를 마칩니다. We expressed Jesus’ love to each other through “Jesus in me,” prayed, blessed one another, and also prayed for the Queimados church members. We ended the day with a closing prayer from the pastor’s wife of Queimados ADEQ Church.내일 저희 팀원들은 리우 땅밟기를 갑니다. 내일 선교일지는 없을 예정이니 미리 양해 부탁드리구요, 저는 그 다음날 마지막 브라질 선교 선교일지로 찾아뵙겠습니다.Tomorrow, our team will go to Rio. There won’t be a mission journal tomorrow, so I ask for your understanding. 사랑하고 축복하는 성도님들께,To the beloved and blessed,브라질 미션팀은 오늘도 브라질식 아침과 예배로 께이마두스에서의 주일을 시작합니다. Today, we begin our Sunday in Queimados with a Brazilian-style breakfast and worship.성경의 날을 맞이해 오늘은 께이마두스 그리스도인들이 연합하여 행진을 하는 행사에 동참합니다. 이 땅을 밟으며 께이마두스의 영적 부흥을 위해, 그리고 이 도시가 하나님의 주관아래 있음을 선포하고 축복하기를 원합니다. In celebration of Bible Day, we join the event where Christians in Queimados unite for a march. As we walk this land, we pray for the spiritual revival of Queimados and proclaim and bless this city under God's dominion.90도가 넘는 햇빛아래서 1시간 정도 걷는 일정이라 다들 무장을 하고 얼음팩을 챙깁니다. With the temperature exceeding 90°F, we walk for about an hour, so everyone gears up with ice packs.버스로 타서 바이블 스퀘어까지 이동합니다. 이곳에 많은 께이마도스 기독교인들이 이미 집합해 계셨어요.We take a bus to Bible Square, where many Christians from Queimados have already gathered.바이블 스퀘어에서 성경말씀 동상은, 저희가 외웠던 시편 115:109 말씀이었습니다. 말씀암송의 은혜를 또 이렇게 한번 더 느껴보네요 ㅎㅎ.At Bible Square, the Bible verse statue displayed Psalm 115:109, a verse we had memorized. It’s a beautiful reminder of the grace of memorizing Scripture.행진이 시작됩니다. 마칭밴드부터 엄청난 스피커로 찬양, 말씀선포, 기도가 도시 곳곳으로 다니며 이어지는 참 생소하면서도 은혜스러운 경험이었습니다. 실리콘밸리에도 만약 이런 행진이 이루어진다면 어떨까라는 생각도 들었습니다. The march begins. From the marching band to loudspeakers, praises, declarations of the Word, and prayers spread throughout the city. It was a new and grace-filled experience. I even wondered what it would be like if such a march were held in Silicon Valley.엄청 엄청 엄청! 뜨거운 (날씨도 행진도 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ) 열기 속에 저희는 땀을 비오듯이 흘리며 계속해서 밟는 땅에 복음이 더 퍼져나가기를 기도했습니다. 손목사님도 마이크로 인사 및 이 땅을 위한 선포도 하셨습니다.Amid the extremely hot (both the weather and the march!) conditions, we kept praying that the gospel would spread further with each step we took, as we sweat like it was raining.그래도 사진 찍을 때는 웃어주는 팀원들.Still, our team smiles for the photos.행진의 끝에는 연합예배를 드렸어요. 이 예배에서 저에게 제일 큰 감동 포인트는 수화로 바운스를 타시며 멋있게 통역하시는 분과 그 수화를 따라 찬양을 드리는 분들!At the end of the march, we have a united worship service. Personally, the most touching part of this worship was the sign language interpreter bouncing and interpreting the songs, with others joining in to praise through sign language.그렇게 덥고 뜨겁던 행진이 마치고 저희는 버스를 타고 다시 숙소로 이동합니다.After the scorching hot march, we take a bus back to our accommodation. 숙소에서는 께이마두스 교회성도님들이 저희를 위해 브라질식 바베큐를 준비해주시고 계셨어요! (churrasco) At the accommodation, the church members in Queimados prepared a Brazilian-style barbecue (churrasco) for us!기도를 드리고 맛난 바베큐를 먹습니다. We pray and enjoy the delicious barbecue.감사하게도 David 형제님이 오늘은 허리가 조금 나아지셨다고 전해주셨습니다. 그래도 계속 기도해주세요!I’m thankful to hear from David that his back has gotten a little better today. Please continue praying for him!이젠 저녁에 있을 주일 예배를 준비하러 교회로 갑니다. 남미지역은 주일예배를 저녁에 드리는게 정상이랍니다 ㅎㅎ.Now, we head to the church to prepare for the evening Sunday service. The Taekwondo team, in Taekwondo uniforms, worships with all their hearts!이진환 목사님이 저희를 소개해주시고 순서는: 태권도, 바디워십, 5인 예수님 스킷으로 하나님을 예배합니다. Pastor Lee introduces us, and the order of service is: Taekwondo, Body Worship, and a 5-person Jesus skit to worship God.손목사님이 선포하신 말씀의 내용은 심플하지만 깊은 “God loves you”.Pastor Son declares a simple but profound message: "God loves you."께이마두스 사람들에게 승주찬도 전파하시고, “Jesus in me”도 포어로 성도님들과 손을 잡고 예수님의 사랑을 노래하는 시간도 있었어요.We share SeungJuChan with the people of Queimados, and also sing "Jesus in Me" in Portuguese, holding hands with the congregation, singing of Jesus’ love.목사님들과 선교사님을 위한 기도로 예배는 마칩니다.The service concludes with a prayer for the pastors.예배 후 성도들과 사진도 찍고, 부스에서 젤리빈, 페인팅, 복음팔찌로 복음을 나누는 방법도 공유했습니다. 여기서 몇 성도님은 예수님을 영접한 적이 없었는데, 전도방식을 통해서 영접기도까지 하셨습니다!After the service, we take photos with the congregation and share ways to spread the gospel through jelly beans, painting, and gospel bracelets at the booth. Some members of the church had never accepted Jesus as Savior, and our team members spread the gospel, which led to some accepting Jesus!주일예배 후에 숙소에 돌아와서 저녁도 먹고 한번 더 예배를 드립니다. 저는 미국에서도 브라질에서도 주일은 어떻게든 4부예배를 드리게 되네요.After Sunday service, we return to our accommodation, have dinner, and hold one more worship service. I find that, whether in the U.S. or Brazil, I always end up attending a fourth worship service on Sundays.이 땅을 위한 기도로 주일을 마칩니다. We end the Sunday with prayers for this land.언어, 국적, 문화가 다른 이들과 오직 하나님의 자녀라는 이유로 함께 찬양과 경배를 드릴 수 있음에 하나님께 영광을 돌립니다. Despite the different languages, nationalities, and cultures, we give glory to God for the opportunity to praise and worship together as God's children.내일은 께이마두스 학교에서 오전과 오후 VBS 사역이 있습니다. 마지막 날의 사역까지, 아픈 지체들, 그리고 께이마두스를 위해서 함께 기도 부탁드립니다.Tomorrow, we will have VBS ministry at the Queimados school in the morning and afternoon. Today, the day starts early with QT and breakfast beginning at 7 AM.오늘은 아침부터 께이마두스에서 처음 열리는 성경의 날 행사가 있는데요~저희 팀원들도 부스를 하나 열어서 안믿는 사람들에게는 복음을, 믿는 사람들에게는 전도하는 방법을 나눠주려합니다. Today, there is the first-ever Bible Day event being held at Queimados from the morning! Our team members will also open a booth to share the Gospel with non-believers and evangelism methods with believers.부스에는 일부 팀원들만 남고, 나머지 팀원들은 노방전도를 나갑니다. 손목사님과 지원형제님께서 전도에 대한 올바른 마음가짐과 꿀팁들을 전수해주십니다. Only some team members will stay at the booth, while the others go out for street evangelism. Pastor Son and Brother Jiwon will teach us the right mindset and tips for evangelism.먼저 서로 연습해보기~First, we practice with each other~그리고 출발! 저희는 걸어서 한 30분 정도되는 거리에 있는 공원 밑 시장으로 움직입니다.Then, we head out! We walk to a park/market about 30 minutes away. 께이마두스 시내로도 처음 나가보고, 사람들이 있을지 없을지도 예측이 안가는 상황에서 저희는 이제 브라질 선교에서의 반복되는 테마 “expect the unexpected” 을 그냥 “브라질!” 이라 부르기로 합니다. It's our first time going out to Queimados downtown, and with no idea if there will be people around, we decide to call the recurring theme of Brazilian mission "expect the unexpected" as simply "Brazil!"공원에 와보니 현지인들이 많이 계셨고, 이들에게 진정한 복음이 전파될 수 있도록 기도로 준비합니다.When we arrive at the park, we find many locals, and we prepare in prayer that the true Gospel can be spread to them. 거기서 태권도 시범도 하고We also perform a Taekwondo demonstration,예수님 스킷도 하고 (스킷도중에 몇몇 현지인들은 울고 계셨어요, 제가 봐도 정말 감동적이었어요)and a Jesus skit (during the skit, some locals were crying—it was a very moving performance).워십댄스도 합니다.We also do a worship dance. 그런 후에 모인 사람들에게 Kris 자매님께서 복음팔찌를 설명해주시고, 예수님을 구주로 영접하고 싶은 분들은 앞으로 나오시라고 권합니다.Afterwards, Sister Kris explains the Gospel bracelets to the gathered crowd and invites those who want to accept Jesus as their Savior to come forward.그렇게 함께 영접기도를 드리고, 그들을 축복하는 시간을 가졌습니다.We pray the acceptance prayer together, and then take time to bless them.그 후 저희는 조별로 흩어져 시장 곳곳에서 복음을 전했습니다. 감사하게도 시간이 부족할 만큼 많은 이들이 예수님을 영접했고 우리가 상상했던 그 이상으로 하나님은 하셨습니다.Afterward, we split into groups and went around the market sharing the Gospel. Thankfully, many people accepted Jesus, and God did more than we had imagined.  감사와 승리하신 주님을 찬양하는 마음으로 모여서 기도로 마칩니다. We gather again, praising and thanking the Lord, and close with prayer.돌아가는 길에도 쉬지 않고 께이마두스 땅을 밟으면서 찬양을 올려드리는 팀원들! On the way back, our team members continue to sing praises as we step on the ground of Queimados!같은 시간 성경의 날 부스에서는 께이마두스 지역 영적 리더들과 함께 이 땅을 위한 기도를 드렸습니다. 오신 리더분들이  젤리빈과 페인팅을 통해 복음을 전하는 방식에 대한 엄청난 호기심을 보이셨다고 하는데요. At the same time, at the Bible Day booth, we prayed for this land with the spiritual leaders of the Queimados area. The leaders were very curious about the way we used jelly beans and painting to share the Gospel.돌아온 노방전도팀과 다시 뭉친 성경의 날 부스팀.The street evangelism team reunites with the Bible Day booth team. 오늘도 거의 100도가 되는 엄청나게 더운 열기 속에서도 땀을 뻘뻘흘리면서 다녔지만, 좋은 소식을 나눌 수 있었음에 기뻐하는 팀원들 <3Even though the temperature reached nearly 100 degrees, we were sweating a lot, but we are happy to have shared the good news. <3지원형제님에 이어 노방전도 조별 팀장님들께서 어떤 은혜가 있었는지 나눕니다.After Brother Jiwon, the group leaders of the street evangelism teams share the blessings they received.점심 먹으러 숙소를 들렸다가~ (이제 공식 께이마두스 포토존이 되어버린 숙소 계단 ㅎㅎ)We stop by the accommodation for lunch~ (The stairs at the accommodation have now become the official photo zone of Queimados, haha).브라질 새누리 풋살팀! 하지만 아직 한번도 여기서 공을 차본적이 없다는...다시 한번 모여서 오늘 있었던 은혜, 또는 이때까지 선교를 통해서 받은 마음을 나눕니다. We gather again to share the grace and the heart we've received through this mission so far.아 재밌는 소식이 하나 있습니다. 여기 현지교회 목사님께서 께이마두스 시장에게 우리 선교팀이 방문한 것을 알리셨나봅니다. 이렇게 많은 동양인들이 께이마두스를 방문한건 처음이라네요. 그래서 시장비서가 저녁에 저희를 데리고 기차(?)로 께이마두스 동네를 보여주시겠다고!Oh, there's an interesting piece of news. The local church pastor must have told the Queimados mayor about our team's visit. Apparently, it's the first time so many Asians have visited Queimados. So, the mayor's secretary said they'd show us around the town by train(?) tonight!물론 저희는 알려주신 시간대로 준비하고 기다리고 있었지만 기차(?)는 한참 늦게 도착합니다. 브라질 (expect the unexpected)! 이제 뭔가 슬슬 브라질에 적응이 되는거 같기도 하고…?Of course, we get ready and wait at the time indicated, but the train(?) is delayed. Brazil (expect the unexpected)! It feels like we're slowly adapting to Brazil, maybe?~라고 생각하는 찰나에 한번 더 엄청난 “브라질!”의 순간이 등장합니다.여러분도 한번 보시죠. 두둥!Just as we're thinking that, another huge "Brazil!" moment happens. Let me show you.지나치게 눈에 띄고 화려한 크리스마스 기차/버스로 저희는 사람들이 몰려있던 께이마두스 어느 한 공원에 내려집니다. We get off an overly flashy and noticeable Christmas train/bus at a park in Queimados, where many people are gathered.북적대는 이 공원에서도 저희 선교팀은 오늘 한번 더 우리의 필살기를 꺼냅니다.Even in the bustling park, our team brings out our secret weapon once again.복음전파! 이곳에서도 많은 영혼들이 예수님을 영접합니다.Evangelism! Many souls accept Jesus here as well.이곳에서도 많은 사람들을 만나 복음을 전하고, 돌아오는 길에도 께이마두스 땅을 축복하며 숙소로 돌아옵니다.We meet many people here, share the Gospel, and on the way back, we bless the land of Queimados and return to the accommodation.하나도 우리의 힘과 노력으로 이룬 것이 아닌, 모든 것에 "하나님이 하십니다"를 한번 더 체험하는 하루였습니다. 오늘 모든 사역을 허락하신 하나님께 감사드리고, 승리하신 주님을 찬양하면서 하루를 마무리합니다. Nothing was achieved by our own strength and efforts—everything is done by God. Today was another day of experiencing this. We give thanks to God for allowing all this work and end the day praising the victorious Lord.내일은 엄청 뜨거운 날씨임에도 불구하고 연합하는 지역교회들과 함께 성경의 날을 위한 께이마두스 땅밟기 (March) 사역과 주일예배가 있습니다. 예배때 준비한 모든 퍼포먼스들과 특송, 그리고 설교를 하실 손목사님을 위해 기도 부탁드립니다. 저희가 무엇을 하는것 보다는, 그 모든 순간이 온전히 하나님께 예배드리는 순간이 되기를 기도합니다. 승주찬~!!Tomorrow, despite the scorching heat, we will be doing the "Queimados Land Walk" (March) mission with the local churches for Bible Day, and there will also be a Sunday worship service. 할렐루야! 오늘은 께이마두스에서 맞이하는 첫 아침입니다. 께이마두스는 그렇게 부유한 지역이 아닙니다. 이런 지역을 섬기는 께이마두스 교회는 꽤나 크고 시설도 좋은 편입니다, 이 지역 아이들을 위한 학교도 건설했고, 강대상 뒤에 근사한 LED도 있어요! 앞으로 3일동안 께이마두스 교회와 협력하여 이 지역의 복음화를 위한 사역을 합니다. 께이마두스 학교에는 교회를 다니는 아이들도 있지만 교회를 안다니는 아이들도 있습니다. 오늘은 이 학교 학생들에게 복음과 사랑을 전달하러 아이들의 수업시간을 이틀동안 VBS로 대체해서 사역하는 첫날이에요.Hallelujah! Today is our first morning here in Queimados. Queimados is not a very wealthy area. To serve such a community, the Queimados Church, which we are partnering with, has established a school next to the church. This school has children who attend church, as well as those who do not. Today marks the first day of our ministry, where we are replacing the children's regular school classes with VBS for two days to share the gospel and love with the students. For the next three days, we will work together with the Queimados Church to spread the gospel in this city!  오늘도 여전히 기상 -> QT -> 아침 순서로 하루를 시작합니다. 아 참! 정전은 아침에 일어났더니 교회 성도님들이 일찍 오셔서 고쳐주셨어요. 기도해주신 분들 감사합니다~We begin our day as usual with morning prayer, followed by Quiet Time (QT), and then breakfast. Oh, by the way! Regarding the power outage, the church members arrived early to fix it in the morning. Thank you to everyone who prayed for us!수고할 우리 팀을 위해서 개인별 얼음팩을 준비해주시는 귀한 팀원들. 아 이게 왜 필요하냐구요? Our team members, who are preparing ice packs for each person, are so thoughtful. Why do we need them? 오늘은 께이마두스에 날씨가 거의 100도이기 때문이죠…Well, because today the temperature in Queimados is nearly 100°F (38°C)...VBS 준비를 위해서 교회로 이동~!We move to the church to prepare for VBS! 교회에 들어와서 아침예배부터 드립니다. After arriving at the church, we begin with morning worship.그룹큐티시간도 갖고~ We also have a group QT time오늘은 Cassius 형제님이 더위를 먹은듯 몸이 많이 힘드셨어요.Today, Cassius seemed quite exhausted from the heat.드디어 오전 VBS 아이들을 맞이합니다! 한번 더 “expect the unexpected”! 저희가 전해들은 바로는 오전 VBS는 6-12학년 큰 아이들만 있다고 들어서 수업 수준을 학년에 맞춰 준비했는데 막상 만나보니 1학년 아이들부터 12학년 아이들까지 섞여있었습니다 ㅎㅎ. Finally, we welcome the children for the morning VBS! "Expect the unexpected!" We had heard that the morning VBS would only have students from grades 6-12, so we had prepared our lessons accordingly. But when we met the children, we found students from 1st grade to 12th grade mixed together. Haha.VBS 시작 전부터 밝은 아이들!The kids were bright and eager even before VBS began!오늘의 VBS 개막식은 워십댄스팀이 담당합니다.The opening ceremony for VBS is led by the worship dance team.그리고 바디워십과 설교 후에 아이들은 VBS 다섯그룹으로 나눠집니다.After worship and a sermon, the kids are divided into five groups for VBS activities.영어반 :)English class한글반 :))Korean class만들기반 :)))Crafts class 태권도 :))))Taekwondo게임! :)))))Games!마지막은 바디워십으로 오전 VBS를 은혜아래 마칩니다.The morning VBS ends with body worship. 이 때 저희 팀원들은 아이들에게 연예인급 사인요청을 받는데요.At this point, our team members receive autograph requests from the kids, as if they were celebrities!잠깐 점심식사를 하러 숙소에 들렸다가~We take a quick break for lunch at our accommodation바로 오후 VBS 준비를 하러 교회로 돌아갑니다!and then return to the church to prepare for the afternoon VBS.한번 더 기도로 준비하고 시작합니다. 오후 VBS는 아이들이 들어오기로 한 약속된 시간보다 늦어져 저희의 사역을 유연하게 조정하게됩니다 (게임과 태권도를 합쳐서 클라스 하나를 줄였어요). 저희 선교팀에 파워J분들이 많으신데, 남은 브라질 선교까지 브라질 현지인들과의 시간약속은 저희에겐 인내심과 유연성 훈련일거 같다는 느낌이 들죠? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ We continue to pray and prepare, and the afternoon VBS starts. However, the children arrive later than expected, so we adjust our schedule flexibly (we combined the game and Taekwondo classes into one). Our mission team has many PowerJ members, so I feel like the remaining time in Brazil will be a good training for patience and flexibility in our scheduling with the local people. Hahaha!게임 수업 하나 바꾼것 외엔 오전 VBS 수업과 동일한 순서대로 아이들과 만났습니다. Except for combining a game class, we followed the same schedule as the morning VBS for the afternoon session.오후 반은 확실히 더 어린 아이들만 있었는데, 워십댄스팀이 추는 춤을 앞에 나와서 따라하는데 너무너무 귀여웠어요~In the afternoon class, there were definitely younger kids, and it was so cute to see them come up to the front and follow the dance moves of the worship dance team. 오후 VBS 사역도 은혜로 마치고 저희 팀은 샌드위치를 먹으며 오늘 저녁 께이마두스 현지 교회들의 연합예배를 함께 드리러 갈 버스를 기다립니다. 버스도 저희가 예상했던것보다 한 20분 정도 늦게 도착한것 같습니다 ㅎㅎ. 그래도 항상 기쁨과 감사한 마음으로! 하나님이 하십니다!We finish the afternoon VBS with grace, and then our team eats sandwiches while waiting for the bus to take us to the evening united worship service with local churches in Queimados. The bus arrives about 20 minutes later than expected, but we always maintain a joyful and thankful heart! God is working!성경암송 하실 때 제일 행복해 보이는 자매님들Here are the sisters who look happiest while memorizing Bible verses.저희는 버스로 5분 거리되는 교회로 이동해서 께이마두스 연합예배를 드렸어요. 신기하게도 오늘의 말씀은 엊그저께의 암송구절! 그래서 포어를 이해 못해도 이해가 되는 은혜로운 경험을 했습니다. We travel by bus to a church located just five minutes away and attend the united worship service with the Queimados churches. Interestingly, today’s sermon was based on the Bible verse we memorized the day before! Even though we couldn’t understand the Portuguese, it was a wonderful experience of grace.손목사님도 올라가셔서 내일 있을 께이마두스 성경의 날 행사에 함께할 것이라는 인사를 전해주셨습니다. Pastor Son also spoke and shared that he would be participating in tomorrow's Bible Day event in Queimados.우리 팀을 위해서 엄청난 통역도 준비해주셨어요. 언어는 달라도 하나님을 사랑하는 께이마두스 형제자매님들과 예배할 수 있었음에 감사하고 하나님께 영광 돌립니다.We are thankful to the pastor who prepared the interpretation for our team. Despite the language barrier, we are grateful for the opportunity to worship with the brothers and sisters in Queimados who love God, and we give glory to God.데이빗 형제님이 허리가 계속 안좋으셔서 다같이 기도합니다.We pray for David's bad back.  샬롬~ 브라질 모지에서의 마지막 아침입니다! 봉지아~ 오늘도 마찬가지로 간단한 아침식사 후에 아침예배로 하루를 시작합니다!Shalom~ This is the last morning in Mogi, Brazil! Bom dia~ Just like every day, we begin the day with a simple breakfast followed by morning worship! 오늘은 목사님께서 선교는 단지 일년에 단기선교 한두번을 갔다오는게 선교가 아니라, 그리스도인에겐 예배만큼 선교가 베이스 되어야한다라는 말씀을 전해주셨습니다. 선교지에서 뿐만이 아니라 언제든지 한 영혼을 구하기 위해 살아가는 우리의 진정한 ‘미션’!Today, the pastor shared that mission work is not just about going on a short-term mission trip once or twice a year, but for Christians, mission should be as foundational as worship. Our true "mission" is to live for saving souls, not only on the mission field but at all times!EM 형제자매들, 새청공과 The Well 청년들, 시니어분들, 자매님들, 형제님들, 그리고 마지막으로 목사님들을 위해서 기도하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 남녀노소 참여하는 새누리선교!We had a prayer time for the EM brothers and sisters, the Saenuri Young Adults and The Well young adults, seniors, sisters, brothers, and, lastly, the pastors. This is a mission that involves people of all ages!손목사님과 함께하는 선교에 빠질 수 없다는 “예수 사랑”! 저는 처음 해봤지만 많은 여러 팀원들과 함께 돌아가면서 마주보고 기도할 수 있었던 너무 귀한 시간이었습니다.A key part of the mission with Pastor Son is "Jesus in me" Though it was my first time, it was a precious time to pray face-to-face with many team members in turns.예배 후 그룹으로 나뉘어 요한계시록 QT도 하고~After the worship, we divided into groups for a Revelation QT.항상 뒤에서 영상과 사진으로 헌신하시는 태수간사님!이제 리우로 출발하기 전에 공동짐과 개인짐들을 다 쌉니다.Now, before heading to Rio, we pack up all the communal and personal belongings. 짐을 싼 후 점심 전까지 시간이 남아서 오랜만에 팀원들과 대화 나누면서 잠시 휴식시간! 사진에 보이는 이곳은 작년까지만 해도 돌무덤이었는데 이번에 와보니 교회에서 주민들을 위해 지은 예쁜 카페가 되어있었어요!! 덕분에 저희도 잠시 쉴 때 이용할 수 있었어요~After packing, there was some free time before lunch, so we had a rest and chatted with team members for the first time in a while! 점심도 먹고 (브라질 의상이 너무 잘 어울리시는 윤태형제님과 크리스자매님!)We had lunch, and I must mention how well the Brazilian outfits suited Ted and Kris! 리우로 출발하기 전에 모지에서 마지막 기도를 합니다. 선교사님께 세개의 랩탑 선물 증정식도 있었어요!Before departing for Rio, we had a final prayer in Mogi. There was also a ceremony where we gifted three laptops to the missionaries! 이제 버스를 탑승합니다. 신기하게도 여기는 버스 밑칸에 짐 넣는것도 비행기 짐 부치듯이 개인 짐에 다 스티커와 번호표도 받아야 했어요. (경찰들이 짐을 체크할 수도 있다는..?)Now, we are boarding the bus. Interestingly, the luggage is stored in the lower part of the bus, and like checking in luggage at the airport, each personal bag gets a sticker and a number tag. (Apparently, the police might check the luggage?) 그렇게 저희는 하나님의 사랑을 가득 충전하고 리우로 출발합니다.With hearts filled with God's love, we set off for Rio. 6-7시간 버스라이드에서 빠질 수 없는 성경암송. The 6-7 hour bus ride includes Bible memorization.중간에 휴게소에 잠시 들려 저녁도 먹었죠.We made a quick stop at a rest area to have dinner.나머지 가는 길도 말씀암송과 목소리 only 찬양으로 시간을 보냈습니다.The rest of the journey was spent on Bible memorization and singing praise songs with only our voices.몇시간을 더 그렇게 가다보니 드디어 께이마두스 교회에 도착합니다. 두둥!After several hours, we finally arrive at the Queimados Church.  께이마두스 교회에서는 성도님들이 늦은 시간에도 저희를 맞으러 기다리고 계셨습니다. 반갑게 맞아주는 성도님들!!!The church members were waiting for us, even though it was late, and greeted us warmly!!! 교회 성도님들께서 우리를 위해 저녁을 준비해주셨다 합니다. ㅎㅎㅎㅎ 약간 소통의 오류(?)가 있었나봅니다, 미리 알았으면 저녁을 안먹었을텐데요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.The church members had prepared dinner for us. Hahaha, there might have been a slight miscommunication? If we had known earlier, we would have skipped dinner, but it was all good.저희는 이제 숙소로 이동합니다. 원래 알던바로는 학교 교실에서 스테이할 예정이었지만 저희도 여기 도착해서 교회에서 최근에 구한 아직 한번도 사용하지 않은 선교센터용 집을 빌려주셨습니다. We now move to our accommodation. Initially, we were supposed to stay in a school classroom, but once we arrived, the church had prepared for us a newly acquired, unused mission center house.ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 구글번역기를 쓰셨나봅니다 "집에 오신 것을 환영합니다"가 우리를 맞아주네요 :) 저희를 계속 이렇게 새로운 상황으로 이끄시는 주님. 다시 한번 “Expect the unexpected” 의 순간입니다. 내일 VBS 진행도 아직 자세히는 어떻게 되는지 모르지만 하나님이 이끌어주시는 대로 순종으로 나아갑니다. The Lord keeps leading us into new situations. Once again, this is the moment of "Expect the unexpected." I still don’t know exactly how tomorrow’s VBS will go, but I will follow as the Lord leads.숙소에서 저녁식사를 (한번더!) 하고, 교회 투어와 내일 VBS를 위한 데코레이션을 하러 출발합니다. 교회와 숙소는 걸어서 한 2분정도 거리뿐이었어요!After having dinner (again!), we head out for a church tour and to decorate for tomorrow's VBS. The church and our accommodation were just a 2-minute walk apart! 오늘도 저녁 늦게까지 (1시가 넘었어요) 데코레이션을 마치고 드디어 숙소로 돌아갑니다. 우리가 갈때까지 옆에서 도와주던 (수다떨던?) 아이들 ㅋㅋㅋ 너무 귀엽죠? 내일 VBS 참가하는 아이들이랍니다. We finished decorating late into the night (after 1 AM) and finally returned to our accommodation. The kids who helped us until the end (and chatted with us?) were so cute! They are the ones who will participate in tomorrow's VBS.숙소에 와서 이제 일지를 쓰려하는데 저희 숙소 전체에 전기가 나갔어요!! 숙소에 와이파이도 없어서 핫스팟으로 연결해 쓰고 있는데 이젠 랩탑 배터리도 곧 죽어갑니다. Claude 형제와 지원형제는 샤워 도중이었다는데 불도 꺼지고 물도 갑자기 차가워졌다는!When we got back to the accommodation to write our journal, the electricity went out across the whole place!! There is no Wi-Fi here, so I am using a hotspot, but my laptop battery is almost dead. Claude and Ji-Won were in the shower when the lights went off and the water suddenly turned cold! 오늘은 이 상태로 밤을 지내야 할거 같네요. 내일 께이마두스 학교에서 있을 오전과 오후 VBS 사역을 위해서 기도해주세요! 저희도 어떻게 흘러갈지 모르지만 주님이 원하시는 일을 할 수 있도록! 어떤 상황에도 승주찬~!!!It seems we’ll have to spend the night in this condition. Please pray for tomorrow’s VBS ministry at Queimados School, both morning and afternoon! We don’t know how it will go, but we trust that we can do what the Lord wants us to do! Today’s schedule is tight, and since the first VBS starts at 7:20 AM, wake-up time was 5:00 AM, and breakfast was at 6:00 AM.아침부터 들려오는 브라질의 새소리는 장난이 아닙니다, 자연 알람이에요. 궁금하시면 다음 브라질 선교 가보시는걸 추천드립니다. 오늘은 또 어떤 은혜를 허락하실지 설레이는 마음에 나가서 찍은 새벽 5시 봉지아 뷰:Excited about what grace God will give today, I went out to take a picture of the 5 AM view in Moji:형제님들의 숙소에선 새벽부터 큐티파티가 열렸습니다.A QT party was held in the brothers’ dorm from the early morning.일정이 아무리 일러도 찬양과 기도, 서로간의 새벽묵상을 나누는 시간은 필수죠. No matter how early the schedule is, praise, prayer, and sharing morning devotions are essential. 오늘은 초등학생들과 VBS를 하는 날입니다!저희가 이번에 하는 VBS 프로그램은 아이들의 학교 수업 시간을 대체하는 시간이었습니다. Today is the day we are doing VBS with elementary school students! This VBS program replaces the children’s regular school hours.신나게 들어오는 아이들. 이 아이들은 선교사님의 말을 엄~청 잘 듣습니다. The children are excited to come in. It was so lovely watching the children follow along so well. Hyun 형제님의 아이들을 위한 맞춤 설교 후에 아이들은 학년에 따라 나눠졌습니다.After Hyun's tailored sermon for the children, the kids were divided by grade.이번 VBS는 5개의 스테이션들이 있었어요: 게임, 만들기, 영어, 한국어, 태권도.There were five stations in this VBS: games, crafts, English, Korean, and Taekwondo.전 이번에 영어선생님이라서 저희 반부터 보여드릴게요~ Since I’m the English teacher, let me show you our class.Will 형제님과 Claude 형제님이 아이들에게 영어로 자기소개하는 방법을 가르쳐주셨습니다. 아이들이 일어나서 영어로 자기소개를 해봅니다. Will and Claude taught the kids how to introduce themselves in English. The children stood up and introduced themselves in English. 새로운 피조물이라는 주제로 저학년 학생들에겐 애벌레가 나비로 변화는 과정, 고학년 학생들에겐 사울이 바울로 바뀐 삶을 영어로 설명해주었습니다.The theme of “New Creation” was explained to the younger students with the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly, and to the older students, the life of Saul being changed into Paul, all in English.만들기반은 어제와 같이 랜턴을 만들었습니다. “Jesus is the Guiding Light”.The craft station was the same as yesterday, where we made lanterns with the message “Jesus is the Guiding Light.”게임팀은 마구 뛰고 놀고~The game team was busy running and playing~한국어반에서는 아이들이 각자 자기 이름을 한글로 어떻게 쓰는지 배웠습니다. In the Korean class, the children learned how to write their names in Hangul.태권도는 아이들이 제일 기다리는 반이었구요.Taekwondo was the class the children were most excited about.선교갈 때마다 듣는 얘기가 "expect the unexpected"입니다. 이번 선교도 어김없이 우리가 예상치 못한 일이 일어났습니다.Every mission we hear the phrase "expect the unexpected". This mission also did not fail that phrase, as something unexpected happened.5학년을 담당한 선생님께서는 브라질의 미신과 무당에 젖어있는 분이셨고 그래서 기독교적인 메세지에 분노로 반대하셨고, 교장 선생님께 학교를 신고할거라는 협박까지 나왔습니다. 참고로 이 학교는 공립학교이고 교장 선생님께서는 VBS를 적극적으로 원하셨습니다. The teacher in charge of the 5th grade strongly opposed our VBS program, which included Christian messages, and she threatened to she report the school and the principal. To clarify, this is a public school, and the principal was actively in favor of the VBS.목사님, 선교사님이 교장 선생님과 함께 어떻게 해야할지 의논하시는 시간에 저희 팀원들은 모여서 기도하였습니다. 반대하는 선생님을 미워하고 정죄하는 것이 아닌, 이 상황이 영적싸움인것을 인지하고 이 선생님을 하나님께서 불쌍히 여기셔서 이분도 언젠간 하나님을 만날 수 있기를, 더욱 더 기도로 나아갔습니다.While Pastor and the missionary were discussing what to do with the principal, our team gathered to pray. We didn’t want to hate or condemn the opposing teacher but recognized that this situation was a spiritual battle. We prayed that God would have mercy on this teacher and that, one day, she would come to know Him.우리는 잠시있다 가지만 이곳에 계신 선교사님의 앞으로의 사역을 위해 교장선생님과 학교에 피해가 최대한 가지 않게 남은 시간의 사역은 가능한 한 기독교 관련된 단어를 사용하지 않기로 했습니다. 그리고 원래 계획대로는 이 초등학교에서 내일까지 VBS를 하는 일정이었지만 오늘까지만 하기로 정해졌습니다.Although we are only here briefly, for the missionary's work in this land and to avoid causing the school any harm, we decided not to use Christian-related words from the remaining time left.. Originally, we were scheduled to continue VBS at the elementary school until tomorrow, but it was decided that today would be the last day.우리의 생각과 계획보다 하나님의 뜻과 계획이 더 크심을 믿으며 우리 팀원들은 급하게 레슨플랜을 조정하게 됐습니다.Believing that God’s will and plan are greater than our own, our team quickly adjusted the lesson plans.  저희 팀원들에게 예상치도 못했던 더 큰 미션이 되었습니다. 예수를 전하기 위해 선교를 왔는데 예수를 직접적으로 얘기하지 못하는 상황이 되어버린 것입니다. 예수님의 마음과 사랑을 직접적인 언급이 아닌 행동과 표정과 사랑의 말로 전달하기로 각오하며 팀원들은 각자의 자리로 돌아갔습니다. Our team was given an unexpected, even bigger mission. We were now in a situation where we couldn’t directly speak about Jesus, but we still had to share His message. We resolved to convey Jesus' heart and love through actions, expressions, and words of love, rather than direct mentions. Our team members returned to their stations, ready to face the challenge.팀원들은 예수님의 사랑으로 아이들을 가르치고 안아주었습니다.The team even more dedicated to sharing Jesus' love and teaching the children.모든 아이들을 위해 태권도 시범을 했는데 반응이 폭발적이었습니다. 태권도팀원들은 어린 열광팬들이 생긴듯 합니다.We gave a Taekwondo demonstration for all the children, and the response was explosive. The Taekwondo team members seemed to have made some young enthusiastic fans. 아이들에게 준비한 구디백을 선물해주고 오전 VBS를 마쳤습니다.We gave the children the goody bags we had prepared and wrapped up the morning VBS.점심시간에도 다시 한번 이 영적싸움을 위해서 그리고 그 선생님을 위해서 기도하는 시간을 갖고 식사를 하였습니다. At lunch, we again took time to pray for this spiritual battle and for the teacher. 오늘도 틈만 나면 (쉴틈이 없었지만) 말씀을 외우는 팀원들. Today, even in the little breaks (though there weren’t many), the team members were memorizing scripture.기도로 오후 VBS를 준비합니다. We prayed and prepared for the afternoon VBS.그래도 아이들과 선생님들이 영어를 알아듣지 못해서, 영어로된 바디워십은 할 수 있었습니다. 영어찬양으로 아이들에게 복음을 간접적으로 나눌 수 있음에 감사합니다.The children and teachers didn’t understand English, so we were able to do body worship in English. It was a small way to indirectly share the gospel with the children.오후 VBS도 동일하게 게임, 만들기, 한국어, 영어, 태권도를 수정된 상태로 진행하였습니다. The afternoon VBS proceeded with the same games, crafts, Korean, English, and Taekwondo, but with the necessary adjustments.  비록 생각치 못했던 상황이지만, 우리의 부족함을 넘어서 하나님이 하십니다를 경험할 수 있는 시간이었습니다. Even though it was unexpected, it was a time for us to experience "God does it" beyond our shortcomings.그렇게 오후 VBS도 막이 내리고, 저희 팀은 시간이 20분 밖에 없어서 컵라면을 후딱 먹고 노방전도하러 버스를 타고 이동합니다. After the afternoon VBS ended, our team had only 20 minutes to eat instant noodles before we hopped on the bus to go for street evangelism. 도착한 곳은 지난 10월에 헌당예배를 드린 최근에 지어진 교회였습니다. We arrived at a church where they held a dedication service last October.노방전도를 하면서 만나는 사람마다 오늘 저녁에 있을 7:30 예배로 초대할 예정입니다.During street evangelism, we invited everyone we met to the 7:30 PM service that evening.노방전도때 나눠줄 예배 초대권!Here are the invitation cards we handed out during street evangelism!노방전도는 3팀으로 나눠서 나갔습니다. 각팀마다 어마어마한 은혜가 있었다 들었는데 다는 못나누지만 조금이나마 나눠보려합니다.We split into three teams for street evangelism. I heard that each team was extremely blessed, and I’d like to share at least some.저희팀은 길을 들어서자마자 크리스티나 자매님을 만나 지원형제님께서 복음팔찌를 설명해주시고 예수님을 구주로 영접하시겠냐는 질문에 대답을 받고 눈물을 흘리시면서 영접기도까지 하셨습니다. 한 영혼이 하나님께 돌아오는 결단의 순간에 함께 있을 수 있음에 팀원들은 모두 너무 기뻐했어요.As soon as we entered the street, we met Christina, and brother Jiwon explained the gospel bracelet to her. When asked if she would accept Jesus as her Savior, she agreed, and we prayed the salvation prayer together. The team was filled with joy to be part of the moment when one soul returned to God. Hyun 형제님의 팀은 오토바이를 타고 길을 가고 있던 청년 Vinicius를 만나 교회 안다니는다는걸 확인하고 복음을 전했습니다. Vinicius 형제님도 그 자리에서 예수님을 영접하셨습니다.Hyun’s team met a young man named Vinicius, who was riding a motorcycle on the road. After confirming that he did not attend church, they shared the gospel with him. Vinicius also accepted Jesus as his Savior right there on the spot.Kris 자매님의 팀은 Aoridge를 만났습니다. Aoridge는 이미 믿음이 있었으나 그녀와 같이 있던 며느리 Marcia는 복음을 저희한테 들었습니다. 그리고 그 자리에서 예수님을 영접했습니다. Marcia는 3살 아이의 엄마입니다. Kris’s team met Aoridge. Aoridge already had faith, but her daughter-in-law, Marcia, who was with her, heard the gospel from us. She accepted Jesus as her Savior right there on the spot. Marcia is a mother of a 3-year-old child.노방전도를 마치고 교회에 오자마자 예배는 시작되었습니다. 교인들과 노방전도때 만났던 분들이 많이 예배에 참석하셔서 예배당에 자리가 모자랐습니다. After street evangelism, we arrived at the church just as the service was about to start. Many of the people we met during evangelism came to the service, and there weren’t enough seats in the sanctuary.현지 찬양팀의 포어 찬양인도 후에 저희가 준비한 퍼포먼스들의 차례였습니다.After the local praise team led worship in Portuguese, it was our turn to perform.첫번째 스킷: 예수님 (5명) The first skit: Jesus (5 people) 태권도 시범 Taekwondo demonstration두번째 스킷: 예수님의 생애 (15명) The second skit: The Life of Jesus (15 people)바디워십댄스 Body worship dance이진환 목사님의 설교후에 “위대하신 주” 찬양을 포어로 특송까지 현지에 있는 성도들과 나눴습니다.After Pastor Lee Jin-hwan’s sermon, we sang “How Great is Our God” in Portuguese and shared it with the local believers.예배가 마친 후에 잠시 함께 예배를 드린 교인들과 교제를 하다 다시 버스를 타고 숙소로 출발합니다. After the service, we spent some time fellowshipping with the church members and then hopped on the bus to head back to our accommodation. 버스에서 손목사님께서 아직 하루가 끝나지 않았다며 저녁(?)식사와 저녁예배가 남아있다 알려주셨어요.On the bus, Pastor Son reminded us that the day wasn’t over yet, as we still had dinner(?) and evening worship to go.그렇게해서 10:30에 저녁(?) 비빔밥을 먹고 저녁 예배를 드리러갑니다.So, we had bibimbap at 10:30 PM and went to the evening worship service.이 장면은 목사님께서 Simon 형제님이 오늘 암송을 다 외웠으면 나머지 팀원들은 하루 암송 면제를 해주신다고 했고, Simon 형제님이 그 어려운걸 해내셨습니다! 우리들의 히어로~! 환호성이 터집니다  ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.This scene was when Pastor Son announced that if Simon had memorized all the verses for today, the rest of the team would be exempt from memorizing. Simon did it! He’s our hero~! The cheers erupted, haha.새누리선교의 매력포인트는 장년부와 청년부, 그리고 EM까지 소속 상관없이 짝이 되어 기도와 나눔을 하며 언어와 나이장벽을 하나님을 향한 사랑으로 무너뜨리는 은혜충만한 시간이 주어진다는 것입니다!!!One of the highlights of the NCBC Mission is that regardless of whether you are part of the adult, youth, or EM ministry, we come together in pairs for prayer and sharing, breaking down language and age barriers with love for God in an incredibly grace-filled time.내일이면 모지에서의 사역을 마치고 리우로 떠나는데 버스로 6-7시간이나 걸릴 수도 있다고 합니다. 무사히 도착하기를, 그리고 리우에서 시작할 사역들과 만날 아이들의 마음을 위해서 기도 부탁드립니다! 

아 참 제가 어제 자기소개를 깜빡했네요 ㅎㅎ. 저는 새누리 청년부에 속한 박예권입니다! 새누리선교는 저도 이번이 처음인데요, 감사하게도 선교일지를 맡겨주셔서 여러분께 이번 선교의 현장감과 당일날 받은 은혜를 전달해드릴 수 있게 됐습니다 :)Oh, I forgot to introduce myself yesterday, haha. I’m Yekwon from KM Young Adult! This is my first time participating in the Saenuri Mission, and I’m thankful that I was given the task of keeping the mission journal, allowing me to share with you all the atmosphere of the mission and the grace we received on that day. :)전날 선교일지를 마무리하고 1시간 정도 누워있었더니 새벽부터 울어대던 수탉들의 꼬끼오와 아침수업을 가르치러 오신 현지 선생님들의 발걸음 덕분에 브라질 모지에서 첫 아침을 마주합니다. After finishing the mission journal for the day before, I laid down for about an hour, and thanks to the roosters crowing from early morning and the footsteps of the local teachers coming to teach the morning class, I woke up to my first morning in Mogi, Brazil.아침에 일어나보니 저희가 머무르고있는 모지 학교는 이렇게 생겼더군요. 참 컬러풀하죠? 이른 시간에도 이미 몇 학생들은 이미 학교에 도착해 있더라구요. 처음 만나는 브라질 현지인들과 반갑게 봉지아~ (bom dia) 아침인사를 주고받았습니다. When I woke up in the morning, this is what the Mogi school we were staying at looked like. Quite colorful, right? Even at an early hour, some students had already arrived at school. We greeted the local Brazilians we met for the first time with a cheerful "Bom dia!" (Good morning). 아침 식사 시간은 8시지만 당일 QT는 아침 전까지 하고 오기로 약속된거라 아침에 일어나자마자 말씀 묵상을 하시는 형제님들의 모습입니다. Breakfast time was at 8 a.m., but we had agreed to do our quiet time (QT) before breakfast, so the brothers were already deep in the word of God as soon as they woke up. 선교사님이 맛난 아침 식사를 준비해주셨고 옆에서는 우리 팀원들이 도와드렸습니다.The missionary prepared a delicious breakfast, and our team members helped out.곳곳마다 초록색이 보이니 이제 드디어 브라질에 온 실감이 납니다. As I looked around, the green everywhere finally made me feel like I was really in Brazil.아침먹으려면 서야하는 줄!We had to line up for breakfast!그렇게 아침식사가 끝나고, 성전에 모여 다같이 찬양과 기도로 하루를 준비합니다. After breakfast, we gathered in the church to prepare for the day with praise and prayer.이번 선교동안 요한계시록 QT를 하는데, 손목사님께서 조금이라도 이해하기 쉽게 요한계시록을 설명해주십니다. 기도는 그리스도인의 호흡인 것을 강조하시며, 우리가 선교의 어떤 대단한 사역을 하는 것보다 그 중심에 기도와 그리스도의 사랑이 없으면 아무것도 아니다라는 말씀과 함께 저희는 QT 그룹들로 나누어졌습니다. During this mission, we are doing a QT on the book of Revelation. Pastor Son explained Revelation in a way that was easier to understand. He emphasized that prayer is the breath of a Christian and reminded us that without prayer and Christ’s love at the center of our mission, nothing we do is meaningful. Afterward, we split into QT groups.그리고 각 QT 그룹들의 나눔이 끝난뒤 다시 모여서 무엇을 했을까요..?After the sharing in the QT groups, guess what we did afterwards?맞히셨나요? 저희는 한번 더 찬양과 기도의 열기를 느낄 수 있었던 각자의 마음을 드리고 서로를 위해 기도하는 시간을 가졌습니다. Did you guess? We offered our hearts again through praise and prayer, and we spent time praying for each other.그 후에는 시간이 조금 남아 VBS 준비를 하였습니다. Afterward, with a little time left, we unpacked and prepared for the VBS (Vacation Bible School).아이들에게 나눠줄 구디백도 준비! We prepared goodie bags to give to the children!오늘 VBS를 도와주실 선교사님들 자기소개The missionaries introduced themselves, who would be helping with VBS.아이들을 만나기 전 든든한 점심!Before meeting the kids, we had a hearty lunch!바쁜 시간 속에서도 틈만 나면 성경 암송을 하시는 팀원들!Even in the busy hours, team members were always taking the time to memorize Bible verses!마지막으로 기도로 아이들을 만날 준비를 합니다.Lastly, we prepared to meet the children with prayer.참고로 사진에 잘 담길지는 모르겠지만 딱 VBS가 시작할때쯤 비가 엄청 쏟아져내리기 시작했습니다. 다행이도 오늘은 비를 안맞는 프로그램들로 준비가 돼있었네요 ㅎㅎ.By the way, I’m not sure if it shows in the photos, but it started pouring rain just as VBS began. Fortunately, we had prepared programs that wouldn’t be affected by the rain, haha. VBS 율동으로 시작! 아이들을 만나서 몸풀기로 시작하면서 채원 자매님께서 맞춰 춤추는 찬양의 뜻을 아이들에게 알려줍니다.VBS started with a dance! We began with a warm-up with the kids, and Rachel explained the meaning of the dance to the kids. 깜짝 율동 게스트 상어와 게가 있었는데 상어는 아이들에게 폭발적인 인기를 끌었습니다.Surprise guest dancers, Shark and Crab, joined us, and the kids loved the shark!그렇게 율동을 세곡정도 한 후에 Hyun 형제님께서 ‘오직 예수’라는 주제로 아이들에게 설교를 해주셨습니다. 물론 선교사님이 통역으로 도와주셨구요.After about three songs of dance, brother Hyun gave a sermon to the kids on the theme “Only Jesus.” Of course, the missionary helped with translation.이 후 아이들은 두 그룹 (4살, 5살)으로 나눠서 만들기와 게임을 바꿔가면서 진행했습니다. Afterward, the children were split into two groups (4-year-olds and 5-year-olds), and they alternated between craft and games.만들기는 Kris자매님에 인도에 따라 아이들은 ‘예수님은 인도하시는 빛이시다’ 메세지를 담은 랜턴을 만들었습니다!In the craft time, the children made lanterns with sister Kris, which carried the message "Jesus is the light that guides us."게임시간도 아이들이 너무 좋아하는 표정이 얼굴에서 사라지지 않은걸 보니 팀원들도 웃음이 그치지 않더군요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ. 모지 아이들은 언어는 비록 안통해도 너무나도 잘 웃어주고 팀원들을 안아주었습니다.During game time, the children's smiles never faded, and the team members couldn’t stop smiling either, haha.VBS시간이 지나자 아이들을 신나게 터널로 보내주는 우리 팀원들After VBS, our team sent off the children through the tunnel.VBS가 끝나자마자 저희는 곧바로 노방전도를 나가러 준비를 시작했지만, 비가 너무 많이 와서 노방전도는 잠시 미뤄졌습니다. As soon as VBS ended, we began preparing for street evangelism, but due to the heavy rain, it was postponed. 이 시간을 낭비하지 않고 바로 팀원들은 특송연습과 스킷연습을 이어갔습니다.No time to waste, the team quickly moved on to rehearsal for special songs and skits.그러다 보니 저녁시간이 되어 저녁식사를 마치고, 내일부터 VBS를 진행하는 옆학교를 꾸미러 갑니다. 비밀의 통로로!Soon, it was dinner time. After dinner, we went to decorate the nearby school where we would conduct VBS the next day. Through a secret passage! 돌아와서 저희는 쉴틈도 없이 심방사역을 나가기 위해 기도로 준비하고, 4팀으로 나눠져 4가정을 선교사님 1명씩과 함께 심방하러 출발합니다. When we came back, we immediately prepared for home visitation ministry, divided into four teams, and set off to visit four families with one missionary each.각 심방팀마다 엄청난 은혜스러운 일들이 있었던거 같은데요. 우선 저희팀이 방문했던 코야와 이자베리 신혼부부 (결혼 한지 1주 됐대요~)는 어리지만 나이답지 않은 성숙함으로 곧 교회에서 청소년부 사역을 맡을 성도님들이었습니다. 짧은 시간 안에 들은 간증이었지만 그들의 하나님을 향한 사랑이 느껴지는 대화와 나눔의 시간이었습니다. 이자베리는 선교사님이 어릴 때부터 보시고 결혼까지 시키셨답니다! 축하하고 앞으로도 모지 땅의 부흥을 위해 힘쓰는 가정이 되기를 같이 기도합니다.Each home visitation team seemed to have a lot of grace-filled moments. For example, our team visited the newlywed couple, Koya and Isabelle (who had been married for just a week), and they were already mature beyond their years, ready to serve in the youth ministry at church. Despite the short time we spent with them, it was a time filled with their love for God. Isabelle had been known by the missionary since childhood, and she even got married under their guidance. We prayed for them to continue serving for the revival of the land of Mogi. 2번째 팀은 가정방문하면서 사진에 보이시는 Nazar 형제가 주님을 영접하셨습니다. 복음팔찌가 절대 괜히 하는게 아닌 누구에겐 복음을 처음 접하는 방법이자 그리스도를 영접하는 길이 될 수 있다는 것을 다시 한번 깨닫습니다. The second team visited Nazar, who accepted Jesus during their visit. It reminded us that the gospel bracelets are not just accessories but a way for some to first encounter the gospel and receive Christ. 3번째 팀은 Laulinda & Jefferson 가정을 방문하였습니다. 작년 방문 후 올해 다시 방문했는데 딸이 정신병으로 가출하고 나머지 아이들도 우울증 증상이 있는 상황 가운데 딸 아이 셋 포함 아이들 여섯명을 힘들게 키우고 계십니다. 하지만 그 상황 가운데 하나님을 의지하고 동네 아이들 성경공부를 인도하는 등 제자로써의 섬김과 사랑의 삶을 살아내고 계십니다. 함께 기도 부탁드려요~The third team visited Laulinda and Jefferson’s family. They were raising six children, including three daughters who were struggling with mental health issues. Despite their difficult circumstances, they are living out a life of service and love, guiding local children in Bible studies. Please pray for them!그리고 여기서 만난 친구 빅토리아는 이황자매님에게 작년에 복음팔찌를 받으며 자신이 차고 있던 팔찌를 도로 건네준 친구인데, 마침 이황자매님께서 그 팔찌를 이번에 다시 차고 돌아와서 감동의 모먼트였습니다.During this visit, we met Victoria, who had received a gospel bracelet from sister Ehwang last year. She had given her own bracelet in return, and this year sister Ehwang was wearing it again, creating an emotional moment. 4번째 팀은 1년만에 다시 담임목사님의 심방을 받은 그래시엘라와 알렌 가족을 방문했습니다. 작년에 뱃속에 있었던 루이지가 어느덧 세상에 나와 8개월이 되었습니다. 새 가족을 맞이해 일상이 더욱 바빠졌지만 영적인 성장을 꿈꾸는 가정입니다. 주님 안에서 한 가족된 팀원들 또한 한 마음으로 축복하고 기도하는 복된 시간을 가졌습니다.The fourth team visited Graciela and Allen’s family, who were visited by the pastor a year ago. Their baby, Luigi, who was still in the womb last year, has now grown to eight months old. Despite a busier life, they are a family that dreams of spiritual growth. The team members prayed together for them as one family in Christ. 심방을 마친 후 돌아와서는 뜨거운 저녁예배를 드렸습니다. 다들 바쁜 하루를 보내고 지쳐있었을텐데도 예배로 시작하고 예배로 끝나는 하루를 함께 보냈습니다. After the home visitations, we returned and had a passionate evening service. Despite the busy day, we started and ended the day with worship. ~라고 하고 하루가 끝난 줄 알았지만 오늘의 암송 검사가 남아있었습니다. 그룹으로 나눠져서 오늘 하루의 암송구절 두개를 검사 받으면 가서 잘 수 있었는데, 태권도와 바디워십팀은 그 후로도 남아서 연습을 했다는… I thought the day was over, but we still had our scripture memory check! 할렐루야~ 인도 선교팀의 바통을 이어받아 브라질 선교팀원 35명이 주일 오후에 브라질을 향해 출발하였습니다!Hallelujah~ Taking over the baton from the India mission team, 35 members of the Brazil mission team departed on Sunday afternoon toward Brazil!문정현 목사님께서 어제 올려주셨듯이 저희팀은 세 그룹으로 나누어졌습니다. 각 그룹이 비행기 시간이 약 3시간 정도씩 차이나던 상황이라 교회에서 공항으로 출발하는 시간도 세 그룹이 각자 달랐습니다. As Pastor Moon mentioned yesterday, our team was divided into three groups. Since the flight times for each group were about 3 hours apart, the departure times from the church to the airport also differed for each group.저는 맨 마지막 저녁 12시 비행기인 그룹 C 소속이었습니다. I was in Group C, which had the last flight at midnight.공항 근처부터 차가 꽉 막혀서 오랫동안 서있었는데, 아마 땡스기빙연휴가 끝나는 날이라서 그랬던가 봅니다. From near the airport, traffic was heavily congested, and we were stuck for a long time, probably because it was the day after the Thanksgiving holiday.늦은 시간까지도 공항운전과 짐 싣는일을 도와주신 성도님들과 목사님들께 감사를 전해 드립니다~!!We would like to express our gratitude to the church members and pastors who helped with the driving and loading of luggage late into the night!그룹 C는 17명으로 세 그룹중에도 사람이 가장 많은 그룹이었습니다. 공항에 도착해서 체크인 과정도 생각보다 오래 걸렸는데요, 몇 팀원들은 부쳐야 하는 선교 공동짐을 맡았는데, 체크하는 가방이 비행기표에 포함됐는지 안됐는지 확인하는데 어려움이 조금 있었던거 같습니다.Group C, with 17 members, was the largest group among the three. After arriving at the airport, the check-in process took longer than expected. Some of our team members had to check in mission luggage, and it seemed there was some difficulty confirming whether the luggage was included in the flight ticket.드디어 체크인을 잘 마무리한 그룹 C!Finally, Group C completed check-in!손목사님께서 선교를 처음 참여하는 팀원들을 위해 선교도중 지켜야할 공지사항 (시간약속 지키기, 혼자 돌아다니지 말기, 등등)을 전해주시고 4명씩 팀배정을 해주셨습니다. 상파울루에 이르기까지 함께 먹고, 움직이고, QT할 팀입니다.Pastor Son provided important mission instructions for the members who were participating in the mission for the first time (such as keeping time commitments, not wandering around alone, etc.) and assigned teams of four. These teams would be traveling, eating, and doing QT (Quiet Time) together until we reach São Paulo.이제 탑승시간전까지 팀단위로 이동하였습니다. 서로 소개하는 시간도 갖고, QT도 하고, 성경구절 암송도 시작했습니다.Before the boarding time, we moved as teams. We took time to introduce ourselves, do QT, and begin memorizing Bible verses.손목사님이 저희에게 주신 숙제는 경유지인 파나마를 떠나기전까지 성경 다섯구절 암송과 브라질 도착 전까지 요한계시록을 읽는 것이었습니다.Pastor Son gave us homework: to memorize five Bible verses before leaving Panama (our layover) and to read the Book of Revelation before arriving in Brazil.탑승전까지도 각자 숙제를 하다 드디어 파나마행 비행기를 탑승합니다.Before boarding, we worked on our homework, and finally, we boarded the flight to Panama.윗장면은 Caroline자매님이 재빠르게 암송구절들을 다 외우셨는데 갑자기 손목사님이 전화가 오셔서 외운게 잊어질까 빨리 검사를 받고 싶은 모습이십니다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ비행중에서도 끊임 없는 암송과 성경읽기. 비행기에서 영화나 음악보다 성경을 더 가까이 해본건 개인적으로 처음이라 너무 제 자신이 신기했습니다 ㅋㅋㅋEven during the flight, we continued memorizing and reading the Bible. This was personally my first time focusing more on the Bible than movies or music on an airplane, and I found it quite fascinating! Haha.헤정자매님의 필기암송 열정.Sister’s Hyejung’s efforts to memorize the verses.자다 외우다 자다 외우다 하다보니 7시간이 훌쩍 지나가 파나마 공항에 도착했습니다.After repeatedly falling asleep and memorizing verses in between, 7 hours passed quickly, and we arrived at Panama Airport.우리를 여기까지 안전하게 인도해주신 하나님께 대표로 데이빗 형제님이 감사기도를 드리고, 다시 한번 각 팀으로 흩어져 밥도 먹고 대화도 나누고 암송도 열심히 합니다.David, one of our brothers, led a prayer of thanksgiving on behalf of all of us for safely guiding us here, and once again, we scattered into our teams to eat, talk, and continue memorizing.각자 담임목사님께 성경 암송 검사를 받다보니 어느덧 상파울루행 비행기 보딩 시간이 다가왔습니다.After each of us was checked on our Bible memorization by our pastors, it was time to board the flight to São Paulo.위에 사진은 태원형제님이 암송을 하시는건지 목사님께 혼나는건지는 음.. 여러분에 상상에 맡기겠습니다.여기서 그룹 B 사진 투척!그룹A! 여기도 열심히 공부하고계셨네요 ㅎㅎ다시 그룹 C!멋있게 보딩하시는 윌 형제님!그렇게 비행기에서 7시간이 흐르고 저희는 드디어…. 브라질 땅을 밟게 됩니다!Seven hours later on the plane, we finally… landed on Brazilian soil!A그룹과 B그룹이 먼저 공항에 도착하여 감사기도를 드리고, 도착시간이 비슷하여 두 그룹이 상파울루 공항에서 재결합을 하였습니다! 그리고 선교사님과 함께 먼저 숙소로 이동하였습니다!Groups A and B arrived at the airport first, prayed a prayer of thanksgiving, and since their arrival times were similar, the two groups reunited at São Paulo airport! They then traveled to the accommodation with the missionary.C그룹도 몇시간 후에 도착하여 한번 더 감사기도를 드리고 짐을 찾으러 갑니다.짐을 다 찾아서 나오니 선교사님이 저희를 기다리고 계셨습니다! 이때 시간은 새벽 1시! 그래도 밝은 표정인 팀원들 :)Group C arrived a few hours later, prayed another thanksgiving prayer, and went to retrieve our luggage. Once all the luggage was gathered, the missionary was waiting for us! It was 1 AM at this point, but the team members still had bright faces :)저희의 첫번째 사역지인 모지는 상파울루에서 약 1시간정도 떨어져 있어서 버스에 모든 짐을 싣고 이동합니다.Our first mission site, Mogi, is about an hour away from São Paulo, so we loaded all the luggage onto the bus and headed there.데이빗 형제님이 계속 허리쪽이 안좋으셔서 모두 형제님을 위해서 버스에서 기도하는 시간을 가졌습니다. Brother David had been having back pain, so we all took some time on the bus to pray for him.그 후 손목사님께서 다시 한번 다섯개의 암송구절을 다같이 외워보자 하셔서 한글과 영어로 암송 떼창이 이어졌습니다.Then Pastor Son suggested that we all memorize the five Bible verses together, and we continued by chanting the verses in both Korean and English.저희 그룹이 숙소에 도착하니 이미 화요일 새벽 3시였습니다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ. 늦은 시간에도 불구하고 배고픈 팀원들을 위해서 모지교회에 계신 자매님께서 맛있는 볶음밥과 우거지지국을 준비해주셨습니다. 새로운 땅에서 이렇게 친근한 맛을 느낄 수 있다는게 너무 신기했습니다 ㅎㅎ. When our group arrived at the accommodation, it was already 3 AM on Tuesday! Despite the late hour, a sister from Moji Church had prepared delicious fried rice and soup for the hungry team members. It was amazing to experience such familiar flavors in a new land.늦은 시간, 잘 보이지도 않는곳에서 설거지로 하루끝까지 섬겨주시는 형제님들!Late at night, brothers were still serving by doing the dishes in a place where it was hard to see.첫 사역인 내일을 위하여 늦었지만 조금이라도 쉬는 시간을 허락하여 주시고 여기까지 세 그룹 모두의 발걸음을 안전히 인도해주신 하나님께 영광돌립니다!!Even though it was late, we were allowed a little time to rest in preparation for our first mission tomorrow. We give glory to God for safely guiding all three groups to this point!내일부터 시작하는 VBS와 노방전도 사역, 그리고 우리 모든 팀원들의 영육간에 건강을 위하여 많은 많은 기도 부탁드립니다~!!!! 어떤 상황에서도 승주찬~!!!Please continue to pray for the VBS and street evangelism ministries that start tomorrow, as well as for the physical and spiritual health of all our team members!
