Hello Church!

Before coming to Mexico, we were told by the missionary to pray for the weather because it has been raining every day. With outdoor gospel presentations and evangelisms planned out, we have been praying for the weather for more than a month now. Today's agenda was to go to the city square to do our gospel presentation in the form of drama/body worship and give free hugs to people with the hopes that God's love will be shared. Praise the Lord for great weather!! All the heavy rain came during the night and we had AMAZING weather today. All in all, doing outreach together with the local youth have brought them closer together. The bus ride to the city square and the bus ride back to church was drastically different in decibel level. Praise the Lord for bringing two different cultures and languages together under the purpose and works of His kingdom!!

Gospel Presentation using the song We Are The Reason. Even after having seen this many times, I was moved to tears by the fact that the gospel was being proclaimed in the public square where many do not believe in Jesus Christ.

After the presentations, we divided up into smaller groups and went to give free hugs to people with the message, "God loves You!"

 This is the large group picture taken after the one hour of free hugs (Not all the small groups came back on time. They were busy hugging more people). You can see the joy of uniting together under a common purpose.

Prayer Answered and Requests

1) Thank you for all the prayers for our health!  No one is sick! 

2) We are visiting the children's hospital tomorrow with small gifts to encourage them and pray for them. Please pray that we will be Christ's Presence to everyone that we encounter. 

3) Please continue to pray for the unity between the two youth groups. Pray that we will be able to encourage them in the Lord. God has been teaching us so clearly that mission doesn't have to be far. Mission is HERE and NOW. Pray that the local youth group here will also understand that truth - that their mission field is HERE and NOW - so that they will be EMPOWERED by God to be AMBASSADORS for Christ here in Cuernavaca.
