Hi Saenuri Family! This is the update for 7/26/18.

 

 

We started off the last day of VBS at Ryugasaki all together with praise.

찬양으로 VBS 마지막날을 시작했습니다. 

 

 

 

 

 

Pastor Soomee’s third session of message was about Thomas, teaching the children about believing in Jesus although we can not see Him.

수미 전도사님에 셰번쩨 말씀에 내용은 토마스를 통해서 눈에 보이지않은 하나님을 믿는 것이어습니다.

 

 

The skit that followed the message was a story of kids who wrongfully doubted their friend.

말씀 다음에는 친구를 의심 하는 아이들에 연극이 있었습니다. 

 

 

 

Pastor Soomee’s fourth message was based on John’s writings of Jesus’ love titled ‘Jesus Loves Me’.

수미 전도사님에 네번쩨 말씀은 요한이쓴 글를 통해 하나님에 사랑을 전했습니다. 

 

 

For the skit the youth acted out the Creation skit, which delivered the message of the gospel.

말씀 다음에는 유쓰가 준비한 창조연극이 있었습니다. 창조연극을 통해 복음을 전했습니다.

 

 

For crafts, the kids created crosses that were designed to look mosaic stained glass.

크래프트는 모자이크 스테인드글라스를 모방하는 십자기를 만들었습니다. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Additionally, the kids made megaphones out of cups to proclaim, “Jesus Loves Me!”. They also made gold trophies to show that they are God's #1.

또다른 크래프트는 메가폰이었습니다. 메가폰에 의미는 '예수님은 나를 사랑한다'를 선포하기 위해서였습니다. 그리고 마지막 크래프트는 하나님에게는 아이들이 최고라는 의미를 위해서 트로피를 만들었습니다. 

 

 

 

 

After morning crafts, we went to the nearby park from the church to play games.

그후에는 특별하게 근처 공원에 게임을하러 갔습니다.

 

 

 

For a special lunch, Ryugasaki Church served Nagashi Somen!

특별하게 Ryugasaki교회와 함께 나가시 소멘을 같이 먹었습니다.

 

 

 

 

After lunch, we got together for our last session- starting off with praise. 

점심후에 마지막 시간에는 차냥으로 시작했습니다. 

 

 

For the last session, Pastor Soomee shared behind the meaning of the gospel bracelet that we had given to children. She then led the time for the sinner's prayer, planting the seed of faith in the children. 

마지막으로는 수미 전도사님은 복음팔찌에 의미를 아이들에게 전했습니다. 그후에는 아이들와 함께 영접기도를 이끌어줘었습니다. 

 

 

 

After the session, we took photos together and said our goodbyes to the kids.

VBS를 마치고 아이들와 사진을 찍고 작별인사를 했습니다. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After the kids had left, our church members had a debrief meeting with some of the church members of Ryugsaki.

아이들이 다 집에 간후에는 같이 미팅이 있었습니다. 

 

 

 

 

Prayer Request:

1. Ryugasaki Kids

The first topic of prayer is for the children we met at the Ryugasaki Grace Chapel during our VBS. Our ministry at this church was only for two days, but God worked through those two days to make sure we made relationships with the children. Please pray that the seed that was planted in them this day would be watched over by God and carefully nurtured by their enviroment. Pray for the confidence that they may have about being a Christian in a country that lacks Christ- that they will truly be the light in the midst of the darkness. 

 

첫번째 기도 제목은 우리가 VBS를 통해서 만난 류가사키의 아이들에 대해서 입니다. 이 교회에서 우리의 사역이 단지 이틀만에 끝나는게 아니라 하나님께서 지난 이틀 동안을 통해 아이들과 우리의 만남과 관계를 갖게 하셨습니다. 그들안에 뿌려진 복음의 씨앗을 하나님께서 지키시고 상황 가운데 성장시키시길 기도합니다. 크리스챤이 없는 이 땅에서 크리스챤으로 당당하게 살아가는 담대함을 위해 기도해 주시고, 그들이 어둠가운데 빛으로 살수 있도록 기도해주세요.

 

2. Readiness for Shibuya

The second topic of prayer is for the Readiness of our mindset and hearts for Shibuya. Many things have happened during these first few days in Japan, and we truly need more of God. Please pray for team unity and Christ's breakthrough in us individually by opening our eyes and hearts to see what He sees and seek after what He wants us to seek. Pray that we will be Christ-led for the rest of the mission and we would not forget why we are here. 

 

두번째 기도 제목은 시부야를 향해 우리 생각과 마음이 준비 되도록 기도해 주세요. 일본에서의 첫 며칠동안 많은 일이 있었고 우리는 하나님이 진심으로 더욱 필요합니다. 팀의 연합과 예수님께서 우리의 눈과 마음을 여시고 우리 한사람 한사람의 자아를 breakthrough 하시어서, 하나님께서 보시는 것을 볼수 있기 원하고 하나님께서 찾으시는 것을 찾을수 있기를 원합니다. 우리가 주님의 인도 하심으로 남은 선교를 마치고 우리를 이곳에 보내신 이유를 잊지 않도록 기도해주세요.

 

3. Pastor Cho's Family and Church

Lastly, please continue to pray for pastor Cho’s family and church. Pastor Cho was the previously Ryugasaki Grace Chapel’s pastor before he deceased due to medical illness two months ago. Please pray for his family, his wife and daughter, for their strength and stability. Additionally, please pray for Ryugasaki Grace Chapel. Pastor Cho’s death has affected many of the members— so please pray for the church’s trust in God’s ability to work in them and their faith to not grow weary.

 

마지막으로 류가사키 교회의 담임 목사님이셨다가 2달전에 질병으로 하나님 곁으로 가신 조현도 목사님의 가족을 위해서 기도해주세요. 조목사님의 가족, 사모님과 따님의 강건함을 위해서 기도해주세요. 그리고 류가사키 교회를 위해서 기도해주세요. 조 목사님께서 돌아가시고 슬픔 가운데 있는 교인들을 위해서 기도해 주세요. 이분들이 하나님의 능력이 그들 가운데 일하고 믿음이 약해지지 않도록 계속 기도해주세요
