계속된 관심과 응원을 해줘서 감사합니다.

 

 

 

Today we started off with morning worship and breakfast in preparation for the first day of VBS.

오늘아침에는 아침QT과 밥을먹으면서 VBS을 준비했습니다.

 

 

 

 

The kids started to arrive in the morning with lots of energy for the day. Although the team had been tired in the morning, the kids gave us their energy to keep going throughout the day.

 

아이들의 밝은 에너지로 VBS가 시작되었습니다. 아침에는 팀이 많이 지쳐있었지만, 아이들의 기운덕분에 힘을 얻었습니다. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pastor Soomee prepared a message for the Japanese students based on the story of the lost sheep; the message was called Lost and Found.

수미전도산님이 잃은 양에대한 짧은 말씀을 준비하셨습니자. 말씀에 제목은 'Lost and Found' 이었습니다. 

 

 

 

 

The youth on our team prepared short skits to present Bible stories in an engaging way for the children.

팀네 유쓰 아이들이 VBS아이들을 위한 짧은 연극을 준비했습니다. 아이들이 예쁘게 집중하면서 잘 봤습니다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We gave a little break after lunch for the kids to play with the crafts they had made and for the team to build relationships with the children.

점심후에 아이들에게 잘쁜 휴식시간이 주워젔습니다. 그시간에는 아이들과 팀멤버들이 장난치면서 좋은 추억을 많이 만들었습니다.

 

 

 

 

After lunch we had praise, the second sermon, and another skit.

점심을 먹고난후 오후 시간이 시작되었습니다. 다른 말씀과 연극을 했습니다. 

 

The second sermon was about God’s power, demonstrated by the resurrection of Lazarus.

두번쩨 말씀은 나사로의 부활을 통헤 죽은자를 살리시는 하나님에 능력을 대해 나눴습니다. 

 

 

 

 

Following the sermon, the children made crafts that corresponded with the sermon and skit. The crafts are made to be a constant reminder to the children that God loves them unconditionally.

말씀에서 베운 내용으로 craft를 꾸미고 만들었습니다. Craft으로 통헤 아이들이 하나님에 절대적인 사랑을 잊지 않도록 만들었습니다. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After crafts we had snack time!

그후에 간식 시간을 가졌습니다. 

 

 

 

 

We ended our day with praise and as we sang the last song, the children screamed our VBS motto “GAME ON!” which showed that God has been present with us.

 

하루에 마무리는 찬양시간 이었습니다. 처음에는 아이들이 노래부르면서 춤추는게 낯설어서 서있기만 했는데, 끝날때 쯤에 아이들이 같이 큰소리로 노래속에 있는 모토를 소리질었습니다. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To wrap up, our team members and a few of the church members all shared the blessings we had received throughout the day.

아이들이 간후 VBS에서 받은 축복들과 행복에 대해 나눴습니다. 

 

 

Prayer Request 기도제목:

1. Well-Being

The first topic of prayer is the team’s well-being. A lot of team members are lacking in their mental and physical state- due to jet lag, lack of sleep, weather, and various other physical pains. Please pray especially for our team members John Choe, Timothy Choe, and Eliana Chang. All three of their knees/ankles are in pain, so please pray for recovery. Additionally, please pray for the whole team’s health that we would this mission trip in good shape.

 

첫번째 기도 제목은 팀의 건강입니다. 많은 팀원들이 시차와 잠 부족, 무더운 날씨, 그리고 여러가지 이유로 정신적으로 육체적으로 지쳐있습니다. 특별히 우리팀의 죤 최, 티모시 최 그리고 엘리아나 장을 위해서 기도해주세요. 이 세명은 무릎과 발목에 통증이 있습니다. 회복을 위해서 기도해주세요. 그리고 이번 ㅅ선교를 잘 마칠수 있도록 전체 팀의 건강을 위해서 기도해주세요 

 

2. Wrapping up + Preparation for Shibuya.

The second topic of prayer is a good wrap up for our current church, Ryugasaki, and preparation for the next church- Shibuya. Our first day of VBS at Ryugasaki was very successful and fun, so please pray that our final day of VBS runs smoothly and that we will have succeeded in planting the seed in the children’s hearts.  Please pray for our safety in transit to Shibuya so that we will arrive safely with readiness and energy to attack another VBS camp.

 

두번째 기도 제목은 류가사키교회에서 사역을 잘 마무리 하고 다음 사역지인 시부야 교회에서의 사역을 잘 준비할수 있도록 기도해주세요. 류가사키에서의 VBS 첫날은 아주 성공적이었고 재미있었는데 VBS 마지막 날이 원활하게 잘 진행되고 아이들이 마음에 복음의 씨앗이 잘 심어지도록 기도해주세요. 또한 우리가 시부야로 안전하게 이동하고 체력적으로 심적으로 준비되고 회복되어서 다음 VBS를 잘 진행할수 있도록 기도해주세요

 

3. Pastor Cho's Family and Church

Lastly, please continue to pray for pastor Cho’s family and church. Pastor Cho was the previously Ryugasaki Grace Chapel’s pastor before he deceased due to medical illness two months ago. Please pray for his family, his wife and daughter, for their strength and stability. Additionally, please pray for Ryugasaki Grace Chapel. Pastor Cho’s death has affected many of the members— so please pray for the church’s trust in God’s ability to work in them and their faith to not grow weary.

 

마지막으로 류가사키 교회의 담임 목사님이셨다가 2달전에 질병으로 하나님 곁으로 가신 조현도 목사님의 가족을 위해서 기도해주세요. 조목사님의 가족, 사모님과 따님의 강건함을 위해서 기도해주세요. 그리고 류가사키 교회를 위해서 기도해주세요. 조 목사님께서 돌아가시고 슬픔 가운데 있는 교인들을 위해서 기도해 주세요. 이분들이 하나님의 능력이 그들 가운데 일하고 믿음이 약해지지 않도록 계속 기도해주세요
