After over a day of travel we are back home! God was very merciful during this entire missions trip and we are grateful to Him. From diverting and dissipating the huge typhoon that threatened the Philippines all week, to caring for our ailments, we felt God's safe embrace throughout the entire trip. All glory be to God!

 

Instead of sharing photos of us walking through airports, sleeping on the plane, etc, I want to do something different. I want to show you how beautiful God made the Philippines. Here are some images captured by the team throughout the course of the trip.

Finally, here is Pastor Son exhorting us to share our experiences with everyone, because the mission never stops!

 

 

 

I want to thank my wife Ahreum who worked tirelessly helping me post the first three days of the blog. I ran into internet and device issues and thought I would be unable to update the church during the trip. But God answered my prayers and as a team, Ahreum and I figured out a system that worked.

 

In conclusion, this was my first missions trip and it was amazing seeing God work through and in spite of his imperfect children. It was truly a life-changing event for me. I have so much to unpack and I pray for God to use this trip to help illuminate my life moving forward.

 

But my thoughts are only from my one perspective. There will be many testimonies in the coming weeks. I encourage everyone to attend as many as possible. You will hear many different perspectives, and I guarantee it will be a blessing to you!
