싸우다지! 당신의 빈자리를 느낄 거에요.Saudade! I will miss you!이 phrase는 브라질에만 존재하는 말이라고해요. 마치 한국의 '정', '한' 이런 느낌인걸까요? They say this phrase exists only in Brazil — perhaps it’s similar to the Korean words jeong or han?오늘은 저희 이번 선교의 마지막 사역인 ADEQ교회 소속 Legacy School VBS를 진행하는 날입니다. Today is the day of our final mission — the VBS at Legacy School under ADEQ Church. 어제 늦은 새벽까지 데코한 본당입니다! 아이들도 선생님들도 바뀐 모습의 본당을 보고 깜짝놀랐습니다!  Last night, we decorated the main sanctuary until late into the night! The children and teachers were all surprised to see how completely transformed the sanctuary looked.오늘은 아침 7시부터 vbs가 시작되기 때문에 아침 5시 반까지 모여야했습니다. 어제 24시간 예배를 은혜가운데 잘 마치고 vbs 데코레이션을 하고 잠깐 눈만 붙히고 나와야했지만, 오늘도 감사한 마음으로 하루를 시작했습니다.  오늘이 드디어 마지막 사역 vbs이기 때문입니다. 여태까지 은혜가운데 거하게 해주심에 그리고 인도하심에 너무 감사합니다. Since today’s VBS starts at 7 a.m., we had to gather by 5:30 a.m. After finishing the 24-hour worship service with gratitude, we decorated the VBS hall and took only a brief nap — yet we began the day with thankful hearts, because today is finally the last day of ministry. We are so grateful for all the grace and guidance He has given us so far.같이 모여 묵상과 서로 기도제목을 나누고 하루를 시작합니다! We began the morning together with meditation and by sharing our prayer requests!이른 아침부터 예배당에 모여있는 아이들입니다. 아이들 또한 엄청 기대하고 기다리는 것 같네요!브라질에서는 학생들은 오전반/ 오후반으로 나뉘어 하루 4-5시간 정도만 학교를 다닙니다. From early morning, the children were already gathered in the sanctuary. They looked so excited and expectant! In Brazil, students attend school either in the morning or in the afternoon, for about 4–5 hours a day.오전 vbs는 11살부터 17살까지 십대아이들로 조금 큰 아이들이 많습니다. 그리고 오전반 유치원이 진행될 예정입니다. 오후 vbs에서는 6살부터 10살까지 어린아이들과 오후반 유치원이 진행될 예정입니다.  The morning VBS was for teens aged 11–17, with many older kids. There was also a morning preschool session.For the afternoon VBS, we had children aged 6–10, along with the afternoon preschool group.뒤에서 벼락치기로 율동 연습하는 우리 praise팀Our praise team practiced the choreography in the back, doing some last-minute cramming!데이비드 형제의 심각한 얼굴과 그의 뒤에서 단호한 레베카 전도사님의 표정David’s serious expression — and behind him, the determined face of Pastor Rebecca.드디어 VBS 가 시작되었습니다!At last—VBS is underway!1부 오프닝 세레모니에서는 ADEQ교회 유스아이들이 준비한 연극을 보았습니다. 비록 통역이 없어 무슨 내용인지는 자세히는 모르겠지만, 에스더 내용이었다고 합니다. 아이들의 고퀄리티 + 열연의 연기를 보여주어 박수가 절로 나왔습니다. During the first opening ceremony, we watched a play prepared by the youth of ADEQ. Although we didn’t have a translation, it was apparently about Esther. The young people’s high-quality acting and passionate performances brought spontaneous applause!그리고 시작된 레베카 전도사님의 간단한 말씀! 말씀 후에 학생들은 부스 5개를 돌며 참여하게 됩니다. 게임, 태권도, 크래프트, 영어, 한국어 - 이렇게 총 5개의 부스가 있어요.Then Pastor Rebecca gave a short message! After the message, the students rotated through five booths — Game, Taekwondo, Craft, English, and Korean.진지하게 기도하는 아이들The children bowed their heads and prayed with deep sincerity.이젠 각 부스에서 일어났던 일들을 생생히 전해드리도록 할게요! Now, let me share vividly what happened in each booth![ 한국어반 ] [ Korean Class ]한국어로 간단한 인사 '안녕하세요', '감사합니다' 와 자신의 이름을 어떻게 한글로 쓰는지 알려주었습니다.한국어반에서는 '싹트네'를 배웠습니다. 아이들이 너무 좋아하고 잘 따라 불러 깜짝 놀랐습니다. 수업이 끝나고 나서도 아이들의 입에 싹트네 찬양이 입에서 계속 떨어지지 않았다고 하는데요. 이번에 Legacy School 유행송이 싹트네가 될것 같은 예감이 있습니다.We taught the children simple greetings, such as “Annyeonghaseyo” (Hello) and “Gamsahamnida” (Thank you), and showed them how to write their names in Hangul. They also learned the song “Ssak-teu-ne” (“It’s Sprouting”), which they absolutely loved and sang with joy!Even after the class ended, the children couldn’t stop singing it — it looks like Ssak-teu-ne might become the new hit song of Legacy School!싹트네 포르투갈어 버전을 신나게 부르는 두 학생들. 그리고 그것을 흐뭇하게 바라보시는 명희 자매님 Two students joyfully sang the Portuguese version of Ssak-teu-ne, watched warmly by Sister Myunghee. 제니퍼 자매님께서도 힘껏 손을 들어 싹트는 사랑을 표현하셨습니다. Sister Jennifer also lifted her hands high to express sprouting love.[크래프트] [ Craft ] 이번 크래프트는 완전 인기가 많았습니다! 아크릴 종이에 그림을 그리고 오븐에 넣은 후 키링을 만드는 것이었어요. 예수님 이미지나 I love Jesus등 아이들이 키링을 보면서 예수님이 떠올랐으면 좋겠어요. 학교 선생님들 또한 크래프트에 관심이 많이 계셔서 선생님들께서도 같이 열심히 크래프트를 만드셨다는 후문이... This class was incredibly popular! Children drew pictures on acrylic sheets and then baked them in the oven to create keychains. Some drew images of Jesus or wrote “I love Jesus” — we hoped that every time they looked at their keychain, they’d remember Him. Even the school teachers joined in and happily made their own crafts![영어반] [ English ] 영어반에서는 복음팔찌를 영어로 배워보는 시간을 가졌습니다. 그리고 복음팔찌를 직접 만들어보았습니다. 문장만들기 게임과 단어 맞추는 행맨 등 다양한 게임을 통해서 영어로 된 말씀을 다양하고 재밌는 방법으로 배우는 즐거운 시간을 가졌습니다!  In the English booth, the children learned about the Gospel bracelet — in English — and made their own. They played games like sentence-building and Hangman, learning Bible verses in English through fun and creative ways![ 태권도 ] [ Taekwondo ] 태권도를 직접 해봄으로써 아이들이 한국의 예를 직접 배우고 몸을 단련시키는 시간을 가졌습니다. 그리고 그 단련된 몸으로 어떻게 하면 죄로부터 지킬 수 있을지에 대해 배워보는 시간을 가졌어요. 아이들이 너무나 재밌어하고 잘 따라와 주었습니다!By practicing Taekwondo, the children learned not only about Korean respect and discipline, but also how to strengthen their bodies, and discussed how to guard themselves from sin with that strength. They followed along enthusiastically and had a great deal of fun![ 게임 ] [ Game ] 게임팀은 공동체게임 그리고 순발력 게임을 진행했습니다. 아이들이 게임을 통해 즐거워하는 모습을 보며 저희도 하나되어 함께 즐길 수 있었습니다. The game team led community and quick-reaction games. Watching the children laugh and enjoy themselves filled us with joy, and we all played together as one.제일 큰 아이들이 있는 15-17세반에서는 농구하러가고싶다고해서 예정에 없었던 농구를 옥상가서 하게되었습니다. 다들 정말 열심히 땀을 뻘뻘 흘리며 농구를 했어요.In the 15–17-year-old group, the oldest students wanted to play basketball, so we went up to the rooftop for an unplanned game. They played with great energy, sweating and laughing the whole time!  [프리스쿨] [ Preschool ] 로테이션 없이 계속 진행된 유치부 vbs! 다양한 액티비티가 아이들을 위해 진행되었고 크래프트로 믿음, 소망, 사랑이라는 단어를 배우고 그 단어에 색종이를 잘라 붙히는 크래프트를 진행했습니다. The preschool VBS continued without rotation.Various activities were held, and for the craft time, the children cut and pasted pieces of colored paper to create the Korean words “Faith (믿음), Hope (소망), and Love (사랑).”'소망 = HOPE사랑 = LOVE  잠깐의 스낵시간동안에 팀원들은 구디백을 같이 만들었습니다. 이제 선교 끝을 달리니 모든 것을 척하면 척! 바로 공장 돌리기가 가능합니다. 엄청난 협동력으로 정말 빠른 시간안에 미션 완료! During a brief snack break, our team collaborated to create goody bags.Now that we’re nearing the end of the mission, everyone moves in perfect sync — just one glance and we know what to do!With incredible teamwork, the task was completed remarkably quickly! 오전반의 클로징 세레모니를 이제 하러 갑니다! It’s time for the closing ceremony of the morning VBS session!Sin Chair이후 레베카 전도사님께서 다시 말씀을 전해주셨습니다. 아이들이 정말 열심히 참여했습니다! 전도사님께서 내시는 문제들을 서로 맞추겠다고 고등학생 아이들부터 초등학생 아이들 상관없이 너도나도 손을 들어 문제를 맞추려고 했습니다. After the Sin Chair play, Evangelist Rebecca shared another message. The children participated with great enthusiasm!From high schoolers to elementary students, everyone eagerly raised their hands, trying to be the first to answer her questions.열정이 사진에서 느껴집니다You can really feel the passion through the photos.오전 VBS가 막을 내렸습니다! 아이들에게 손터널로 하이파이브를 건네며 구디백 하나씩 나눠줬습니다. 마지막 헤어짐은 너무 아쉽지만 다음에 만날것을 기약하며..! 오전 VBS 잘 마무리한 후 이제 오후 VBS를 준비해봅시다! The morning VBS has come to an end! We gave each child a goody bag and a high-five as they walked through our hand tunnel.Parting was bittersweet, but we said goodbye with the hope of meeting again someday!Having wrapped up the morning session beautifully, it’s now time to get ready for the afternoon VBS!그리고 이제 오후반 아이들을 위한 VBS를 시작하기 전 잠깐의 점심시간 및 휴식 타임을 가졌습니다. 어제 너무 조금만 잔 터라 다들 한명씩 쓰러지기 시작했습니다. Before starting the afternoon VBS for the younger children, we took a short lunch break and some time to rest. Since we had barely slept the night before, one by one, everyone began to doze off from exhaustion.잠깐 눈을 붙히고 있는 사이에 이제 오후반 아이들이 예배당으로 들어오기 시작했습니다. 오후반 아이들은 10살 이하의 어린 아이들로 이루어져있습니다. 아이들의 밝은 미소를 보며 다시 힘을 얻고 마지막까지 힘을 내봅니다! While we were catching a short nap, the afternoon group of children began entering the sanctuary.These little ones were all under ten years old — their bright smiles instantly revived our energy, giving us strength to finish the day strong!한 친구에게 직접 쓴 편지를 받은 은별자매님! 아이가 정성스레 쓴 편지를 받고 엄청난 감동을 받았습니다..!Sister Eun-byul (Stella) received a handwritten letter from one of the children!She was deeply moved by the heartfelt words the child had written with such care.  아이들이 처음 들어보는 Magnified와 Zoom In 찬양에 맞춰 함께 뛰며 찬양하는 기쁨을 누렸습니다. The children experienced pure joy as they jumped and sang along to the songs "Magnified" and "Zoom In," which they were hearing for the first time.[한국어반][Korean Class]직접 한글 쓰는 법도 배웠습니다. 아직 아이들에겐 그림같은 글자들이겠지만, '사랑' 부터 써보았습니다. They also learned how to write in the Korean language. Though the letters still looked like pictures to them, they started by writing the word “Love (사랑).”안무를 추가해, '내 마음에 기쁨이'할때는 서로를 마주치며 웃어줘야했습니다. We added a dance move where, during the phrase “Joy in my heart,” the children had to look at each other and smile. [영어반][English Class] [게임] [Game][태권도] [Tae-Kwon Do][프리스쿨] [Pre-School] 모든 부스를 다 끝나고, 오후반 VBS 다같이 모여 말씀을 듣고 찬양하기 위해 예배당에 모였습니다. After finishing all the booth activities, everyone from the afternoon VBS gathered together in the sanctuary to listen to the Word and worship through praise.너무 귀여운 우리 꿀벌 유치원 아이들을 무대로 초대해 Magnified 찬양을 같이 했어요!We invited the preschool kids with the bumblebee headbands that they created to come up the stairs and dance Magnified!  

크리스토 이 수피시엔테! Cristo e suficiente! (Christ is sufficient!)오늘은 성스러운 주님의 날입니다어느때와 마찬가지로 예배로 하루를 시작하는 브라질 선교팀입니다어제 다 끝내지 못한 브라질 선교 6일까지의 은혜받은것들을 나누는 시간을 가졌습니다“Today is the holy day of the Lord.” As always, our Brazil mission team begins the day with worship. This morning, we also took time to share about the blessings and grace we’ve experienced throughout the mission up to day six.선교사님이 브라질에서 가장 유명한 superfood 인 acai 를 제공해주셨습니다! 너무 맛있었어요The missionary treated us to açaí, Brazil’s most famous superfood! It was absolutely delicious!목이 아픈 제임스를 위해서 확성기를 제공해줬습니다. 덕분에 그의 간증을 잘 들을수있게 되었어요제임스는 이번 선교를 오기전에 많은 두려움들이 있었는데 하나님께서 그 두려움들을 제거하지 않으시고 오히려 그 두려움 가운데를뚫고 들어가 승리하게 해주셨다고 간증하였습니다We gave James a microphone because his throat was sore — thanks to that, we were able to hear his testimony clearly.Before coming on this mission trip, James had many fears. But he shared that instead of simply taking those fears away, God led him through them — and gave him victory in the midst of it all. 어린이 사역자와 어린이들이 24시간 예배를 채워주었습니다아이들의 청량한 목소리로 듣는 찬양소리가 천사들의 목소리를 듣는다면 저렇겠다..라고 생각하게 만들었어요The children’s ministry team and the kids themselves filled the 24-hour worship with praise.Hearing their pure, crystal-clear voices made me think, “If I could ever hear angels sing, it would probably sound like this.”  body worship전에 준비중인 우리 자매님들Our sisters are getting ready for the body worship.어린이 찬양이었지만 어른들도 다같이 율동하며 하나님 찬양하였습니다Though it was a children’s praise, everyone — young and old alike — joined in the dance and lifted their praises to God.갈수록 완성도가 높아지는 sin chair 배우님들..이제는 몸짓하나하나에 여유가 느껴졌습니다The Sin Chair performers are becoming more and more polished each time — Now, even their smallest movements carry a sense of confidence and grace.어른들이 sin chair에 열광하시는 모습입니다The adults were absolutely captivated by the Sin Chair performance!어린이 찬양팀 멤버중 한 아이와 함께 사진을 찍었어요. 너무 나도 여유로운 모습이 인상깊은 아티스트 모습이었어요. ADEQ 찬양팀의 미래입니다I took a picture with one of the kids from the children’s praise team. I was so impressed by how calm and confident this little artist looked — truly the future of the ADEQ worship team비장한 모습의 두분의 모습이 거뜬히 사단마귀를 물리칠것 같았습니다. The two of them looked so determined — as if they could easily defeat the forces of darkness themselves. 지원형제님은 ADEQ에서 Master Lee 로 불리십니다. 자세한 이유는 저 사진이 잘 말해주네요Brother Jiwon is known as “Master Lee” here at ADEQ — and this photo pretty much explains why.동준형제님도 질세라 여유롭게 격파를 성공시키셨습니다. 새누리교회 아버님들 선교지에서 날라다니고 계세요. Not to be outdone, Brother Dongjun also broke through with ease!  The fathers from Saenuri Church are absolutely unstoppable on the mission field!이제는 뮤지컬의 경지까지 올라가버린 스킷팀입니다The skit team has officially leveled up — they’re practically doing a musical now.이진환목사님께서 선교에 대하여 설교를 하셨습니다 Pastor Jin Hwan Lee delivered a sermon about missions.24시간 예배의 마침표를 성찬식으로 마무리 하였습니다!그 어느 성찬식보다 예수님이 주신 몸과 피를 celebrate하는 축제의 장이었습니다.인상깊었던것은 포도주컵을 서로 교환하며 서로 인사하고 안아주는 장면이었습니다We concluded the 24-hour worship with a Communion service — a beautiful finale. More than any other Communion I’ve experienced, this one truly felt like a celebration of the body and blood of Jesus.One of the most touching moments was when everyone exchanged cups of grape juice, greeting and embracing one another in love. 오늘 떠나시는 세분의 선교사님과 기념사진을 찍고 그들을 위해 기도해주는 시간을 가졌습니다We took a photo with the three missionaries who are leaving today and spent some time praying for them.태권도팀에서 깜찍한 태권도 인형 선물을 증정했습니다The Taekwondo team presented the three pastors/missionaries with an adorable Taekwondo doll as a gift! 브라질 피자를 제공해주셨는데 미국에서는 먹어보지 못했던 새로운 맛이었어요. 특히 디저트 피자는 너무 맛있었습니다They served us Brazilian pizza, and it was a flavor unlike anything we’ve had in the U.S. before. The dessert pizza was especially amazing!우리들의 듬직한 태권도팀. Our strong and dependable Taekwondo teamADEQ 교회 담임목사님도 떠나시는 분들을 직접 찾아오셔서 감사의 인사를 전해주셨습니다The senior pastor of ADEQ Church personally came to thank those who are departing and express his appreciation.지금 늦은 시간까지 내일 있을 VBS를 위해서 데코레이션을 붙이는 우리의 선교팀입니다.  다들 마지막을 향해서 지치고 힘들지만 주님을 섬기는 기쁨으로12시가 넘어가는 시간까지 작업을 계속하고 있습니다.  내일은 이른아침부터 일어나 ADEQ 교회부속 Legacy 학교에 있는 학생들을 대상으로VBS를 합니다.  아무도 아프거나 다치지 않고 사역 마무리 잘 할수 있도록 지속적인 기도 부탁드립니다. 감사합니다!It’s late at night, and our mission team is still busy putting up decorations for tomorrow’s VBS. Everyone is tired and running low on energy as we near the end of our trip, but we continue working past midnight — serving with joy in our hearts for the Lord. Tomorrow morning, we’ll be holding VBS for the students at Legacy School, which is part of ADEQ Church. Please continue to pray that no one gets sick or injured, and that we may complete this mission successfully.Thank you so much for your prayers and support!

We're so grateful!오후에는 저희가 어제 갔던 광장에 다시 갑니다! 오늘은 그 시끌벅적했던 그 광장의 중심에서 바디워십, 스킷 그리고 찬양으로 복음을 선포하고 그 땅을 위해, 사람들을 위해 축복을 할 예정입니다. In the afternoon, we’re heading back to the plaza we visited yesterday!This time, right at the heart of that lively, bustling square, we’ll be proclaiming the Gospel through body worship, skits, and songs of praise — blessing the land and the people who gather there이진환 목사님께서 오늘 이 광장에서 복음이 선포되고 영혼들이 돌아올 수 있도록 기도해주시며 저희의 오늘 첫 사역을 시작했습니다. Pastor Jin Hwan Lee began today’s first outreach by praying that the Gospel would be boldly declared in this plaza and that hearts would be moved to come back to God지나가시던 많은 분들이 멈춰서 호응해주시고 사진도 찍어주셨습니다. Many passersby stopped to engage — some clapped along, others took photos — and the atmosphere was filled with joy and openness.Nothing is Impossible을 외치며 바디워십을 성공적으로 마쳤습니다.Nothing is Impossible! 께이마도스 이 지역에 있는 모든 영혼들이 주님께 영광돌리는 것, it's NOT impossible!! Through you, I CAN DO ANYTHING! We shout "Nothing is Impossible!" and finish our body worship with great joy and victory! Nothing is Impossible! For every soul in Queimados to give glory to the Lord. It is NOT impossible!!  Through You, I can do anything!토요일 오후라 그런지, 아이들도 광장에 많이 나와있었습니다. Sin Chair는 아이들 뿐만 아니라 어른들의 시선까지 확 끌어잡았습니다. Since it was a Saturday afternoon, there were many children out in the plaza. The Sin Chair performance captured not only the kids' attention but also drew in the adults — everyone was focused entirely! 슈퍼맨을 맡으신 동준형제님께서 거뜬히 앞에 있는 아이를 들어올리십니다. Brother Dongjun, playing the role of Superman, effortlessly lifted a child in front of the crowd!그리고 몸이 휘어질 정도로 혼신의 연기를 보여주십니다. 다들 진실되고 놀라운 연기 실력으로 군중들이 모여 집중했습니다. Giving his all, he performed with such passion that his whole body seemed to move with the story. The sincerity and skill of the entire team drew the crowd in — hearts and eyes completely captivated. 군중들의 시선과 관심을 끈 후, 이제 하나님의 사랑, 천지창조, 그리고 죄와 사탄을 넉넉히 이기시는 하나님의 놀라운 능력과 복음을 선포할 드라마스킷으로 넘어갔습니다.After capturing the crowd's attention, we transitioned into a dramatic skit proclaiming God's love, the creation of the world, and His incredible power that triumphs over sin and Satan.우리를 위해 죽음을 감당하시고 넉넉히 이기신 우리 주 예수님을 찬양합니다! We praise our Lord Jesus, who bore death for us and rose in complete victory! 목사님께서 복음을 전하신 후, 영접하실 분들 기도받고 싶으신 분들은 손을 들고 앞으로 나오라고 하셨습니다. 그리고 중앙으로 나오신 많은 분들.. After the Pastor shared the Gospel, he invited those who wanted to receive Christ or receive prayer to raise their hands and come forward.And then — many people stepped out into the center, responding to the call…팀원 모두가 손을 뻗어 그들을 위해 축복하고 기도했습니다. All of our team members stretched out their hands, blessing and praying for those who came forward.그리고 께이마도스 지역에 능력의 이름, 생명의 이름 예수님을 선포하며 Clamo Jesus를 부르며 예수님 이름을 외쳤습니다.이 지역의 어둠과 그림자를 뚫을 수 있는 예수님의 이름을 손을 뻗으며 힘차게 외쳤습니다. And then, as we proclaimed the name of Jesus — the name of power and life — Over the region of Queimados, we lifted our voices in song, declaring 'Clamo Jesus,' proclaiming His name with boldness.합창이 끝나고 많은 분들께서 더 기도 받고 싶어하시고 자신의 삶을 나누고 싶어하셨습니다. 삼삼오오모여 손을 잡고 다시 기도하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 그리고 복음팔찌를 들고 아직 복음을 듣지 못한 영혼들, 하나님께서 급히 찾으시는 영혼들을 만나길 기도하며 나아갔습니다.After the worship chorus ended, many people wanted to continue receiving prayer and share their stories. We gathered in small groups, held hands, and prayed once more.Then, holding our gospel bracelets, we went out again — praying to meet those who have not yet heard the Gospel, the souls that God is urgently seeking.같이 다녔던 ADEQ 유스 봉사자 아이들도 이제 복음팔찌를 가지고 담대히 복음을 전할 수 있습니다. The youth volunteers from ADEQ who had been serving with us now also carried the gospel bracelets — ready and bold to share the Gospel themselves.노방전도에서 돌아오고 난 후, 24시간 예배가 시작하기전 합창연주 연습을 잠깐 할 수 있었습니다. 이번엔 저희 팀원 중에 일렉할 수 있는 팀원이 없어서 여기 현지에 계신 성도님께서 일렉을 쳐주시기로 하셨는데, 합주도 너무 기대됩니다!After returning from street evangelism, we had a short time to rehearse for the choir performance before the start of the 24-hour worship.Since we didn't have anyone on our team who could play the electric guitar this time, a local church member kindly offered to play for us. We're so looking forward to how it will sound together!그리고 이제 시작된 대망의 24시간 예배!!! 토요일 저녁 8시부터 주일 저녁 8시까지 진행될 예정입니다. 예배당에 들어가는 순간, 그 분위기가 너무 압도적이었습니다.작년에 갔다오신 분들께도 익히 들었지만, 직접 경험해보고, 이들의 예배에 함께 동참하니, 성령님의 엄청난 임재하심을 느낄 수 있었던 귀한 경험이었습니다. And then — the long-awaited 24-hour worship finally began!!! It was set to run from Saturday, 8 p.m. to Sunday, 8 p.m. The moment we stepped into the sanctuary, the atmosphere was overwhelming. We'd heard stories from those who experienced it the previous year, but witnessing it firsthand and joining their worship, we could truly feel the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit.'성령님이 이끄시는 대로 저희도 두 손을 활짝 펴고, 점프를 하며, 찬양하는 기쁨을 흠뻑 즐길 수 있었습니다. As the Spirit led us, we opened our hands wide, jumped with joy, and fully immersed ourselves in the delight of praising God.잠깐 쉬어가는 코너로 교회측에서 팝퀴즈 타임을 준비했습니다. 이 교회를 오래 다녀야 알 수 있을것 같을 사소한 문제들로 구성되었습니다. There was even a short intermission — the church prepared a fun pop quiz segment, filled with little questions that only long-time members would know!하지만..! 또잇! 저희 선교팀원들이 상품을 싹쓸이한 것 알고 계시나요?!! But guess what?! Our mission team members swept most of the prizes!수연자매님, 에스더자매님, 데이비드형제님께서 문제를 제일 1등으로 맞추셔서 상품을 탔습니다! (마지막엔 괜히 교회분들께 미안해졌어요...사회자가 한국 사람들이 빠르게 문제 푸는걸 잘하는것 같다는 멘트도...)그리고 또 진행된 찬양! 비록 포르투갈어로 되어있는 가사였지만, 한 단어씩 따라 부르면서 온 마음 다해 찬양했습니다.Sister Sue, Sister Esther, and Brother David answered the questions the fastest and each won a prize! (We actually started feeling a bit bad toward the end… even the host joked that Koreans seem to be really good at solving questions quickly!)Then came more praise and worship! Even though the lyrics were in Portuguese, we sang along one word at a time with all our hearts.24시간 24주년 창립예배는 완전 축제의 자리였습니다. 예배를 통해 하나님께서 경배받으시고 찬양이 흘러나오는 그 축제의 자리!축제엔 또 음식이 빠질 수 없죠! 로컬 벤더들이 교회 뒷마당에서 푸드트럭처럼 음식을 팔았습니다.The 24-hour, 24th Anniversary Worship Service was truly a festival of praise — a joyful celebration where God was exalted and worship flowed freely!And of course, what's a festival without food Local vendors set up food stands, similar to food trucks, in the church courtyard, serving delicious meals to everyone.열심히 찬양한자, 즐겨라! 밤12시부터 새벽 6시까지 청년들이 진행하는 찬양과 예배집회를 계속 참여하고 싶으셨던 많은 형제 자매님들께서는 다시 예배당으로 들어가 체력이 다 하는 한 열심히 찬양과 기도했습니다. 이번 브라질 미션은 하나님께서 저희에게 폭우처럼 사랑을 부어주셨습니다. 좋은 날씨를 허락해주시고, 하나되게한 팀원들을 허락하시고, 좋은 동역자가 되신 선교사님과 ADEQ 교인분들을 보내주시고, 또 마음껏 찬양하고 기도할 수 있는 24시간 예배도 허락하셨습니다.또 복음을 전하고 선포할 수 있는 기회를 주셨습니다. 내일 계속 진행되는 24시간 예배에 저희 팀원들이 어린이예배 그리고 선교팀 담당 예배에 참여하게 되어, 준비한 찬양, 스킷, 태권도를 보여줍니다. 레베카 전도사님께서 아이들에게 말씀을 전하기도 하십니다.내일 주일에도 저희 의와 힘이 아닌 오직 성령이 이끄시는 대로 서로 사랑하며, 하나님 예배 하는 자들이 되길 기도부탁드립니다! Those who had been worshipping with all their strength were now invited to enjoy and celebrate! From midnight to 6 a.m., the youth-led worship continued. Many brothers and sisters who longed to keep praising and praying returned to the sanctuary and worshiped with all their remaining strength — until their bodies could go no further.This Brazil mission has been a genuine outpouring of God's love upon us.He blessed us with beautiful weather, united us as one team, sent us wonderful coworkers — the missionaries and the ADEQ church family — and even allowed us to worship and pray freely in this incredible 24-hour service. He gave us the precious opportunity to proclaim the Gospel and share His good news.Tomorrow, as the 24-hour worship continues, our team will participate in both the children's service and the mission team's session. We'll present our songs, skits, and Taekwondo performance that we've been preparing. Evangelist Rebecca will also be sharing the Word with the children.Please continue to pray that tomorrow, too, we may not rely on our own strength or righteousness — but follow only the leading of the Holy Spirit, love one another deeply, and worship God with all our hearts.  

10/10일 5일차 파트 2로 돌아왔습니다! We’re back with Day 5, Part 2 (10/10)!여기서도 한국 vs 브라질 축구얘기가 나왔었습니다. 축구 결과는 처참했지만, 그래도 새누리 & ADEQ 합작의 로컬 어린이날 지역행사 개최는 감히 성공적이었다고 말씀드리고 싶습니다. There was talk of Korea vs. Brazil soccer here, too. The match result was brutal, but I’d still say the joint Saenuri & ADEQ local Children’s Day event was, without question, a success.일단 스포일러로 단체사진 부터 보여드립니다! 뚜둥 이번 편도 기대하셔도 됩니다!!As a little spoiler, we’ll start with the group photo—tada! You can look forward to this episode as well!오늘 저녁 7시부터 교회 주변 아이들을 상대로 어린이날 행사를 진행했습니다. 노방전도에서 돌아오고 난후, 빠르게 밥을 먹고 난 후, 준비로 돌입합니다. 덕준형제님께서는 전공을 살리셔서 알고리즘을 짜고 계십니다. We held the Children’s Day event for kids in the neighborhood starting at 7 p.m. After returning from street evangelism, we ate quickly and jumped straight into prep.Brother Deokjun put his major to work—drafting algorithms.CHURCH = GOSPEL + LOVE + ... ? 부스들이 다 잘 셋업이 되고 슬슬 동네 아이들이 교회에 들어오기 시작합니다. 이번에 총 220명의 아이들이 사인업을 했다고해요. 레베카 전도사님의 인도로 행사가 진행되었습니다! Once the booths were set up, neighborhood kids began streaming into the church. I heard a total of 220 children signed up this time. Under Pastor Rebecca’s lead, the event kicked off!아이들이 정말 들떠보이는데요! The kids looked absolutely thrilled!비장한 각오로 찬양을 준비하는 body worship 팀입니다.벌써 여러번 했던 바디워십인데 뒤에 LED배경이 있으니 뭔가 더 웅장한 느낌을 주는 것은 기분인걸까요..ㅎㅎOur body-worship team prepared praise with a determined mindset. We’ve done body worship several times already, but maybe it’s just me—having an LED backdrop made it feel more majestic.하나님 사랑 이웃사랑을 실천하라는 메세지를 담은 태권도 시범이 있었습니다There was also a Taekwondo demonstration carrying the message: “Love God and love your neighbor.”태권도를 태어난 이후 처음 시도해보는 진희자매님, 그리고 가까운 미래가 두려운 강성 선교사님.Sister Jinhee tried Taekwondo for the first time in her life, and Missionary Kangseong looked a little worried about the near future.알콜중독이 적힌 송판을 두동강이로 내버리겠다라고 각오하신 선교사님입니다.The missionary declared he would split the board labeled “Alcohol Addiction” clean in two.더욱더 완전하게 돌아온 sin chair 공연도 아이들의 사랑을 듬뿍 받았습니다An even more polished Sin Chair performance returned—and the kids loved it. 카메라가 담지못한 데이빗 형제님의 연기거의 슈퍼맨급으로 빨랐던 의사의 속도.. Brother David’s acting couldn’t even be fully captured on camera— the doctor’s speed was almost Superman-level!ADEQ 공식 인스타그램 스토리까지 등판하신 우리의 왕언니 명희자매님 Our “big sister” Myunghee even made it onto ADEQ’s official Instagram story.명희 자매님의 연기에 한 꼬마팬이 그녀에게 안기기위해서 무대를 난입하는 이벤트가 벌어지기도 했습니다당황하지 않고 연기를 끝까지 이어가신 명희자매님의 프로페셔널한 모습을 확인하였습니다At one point, a little fan burst onto the stage to hug Sister Myunghee during her performance! She didn’t miss a beat and finished the scene like a pro.죄의 심각성을 연극으로 배우는 아이들의 모습이 사뭇 진지합니다The children were markedly serious as they learned about the gravity of sin through the play.풍선아트 부스에서는 아이들의 이름을 한글로 풍선에다가 적어주었습니다.  아이들의 한글에 대한 호기심이 엄청 나서 인기가 많았던 부스였습니다게임부스에서는 창의적인 게임으로 아이들을 즐겁게 해주었습니다카메라도 담지 못하는 딱지 소년의 스피드The “ttakji” (paper-slap game) boy moved too fast for the camera to catch!그런 아이들을 호락호락하게 봐주지 않으시는 우리 이진환 목사님 But Pastor Jin-hwan wasn’t about to go easy on them.거기에 도전장을 내미신 Oziel 목사님Pastor Oziel even stepped up to challenge him.두분께서 원만한 합의를 보신것 같습니다. It seems the two reached an amicable agreement in the end.형제 자매님들 얼굴에서 기쁨이 드러나보입니다.  모두들 아이들을 섬기실때 모습에서 그리스도의 향기가 드러나보였습니다The raffle-ticket event was a crowd-pleaser with kids and parents alike! It was a raffle time loved by one and all.어린이 행사 또는 vbs가 끝나면 손 터널은 이제 기본입니다. 팀원들도 이젠 눈치껏 출구를 찾아서 아이들이 나갈 수 있도록 손 터널을 만들어줍니다. #팀웤When a kids’ event or VBS wraps up, the “hand tunnel” is now a given. Good!” in Portuguese while giving plenty of thumbs-ups.혹시 고급 포르투갈어를 원하신다면, 무이또 봉까지 외쳐주시면 됩니다! If you’d like to go a bit more advanced in Portuguese, you can even say “Muito bom!” (“Very good!”)오늘은 께이마도스에서 진행하는 첫 사역일입니다. 오늘의 하루는 빽빽하게 예정되어있는데요. 오전엔 께이마도스 공립학교에서 진행되는 어린이날 행사, 오후엔 광장에서 노방전도, 저녁엔 ADEQ교회에서 진행하는 지역 어린이날 행사까지, 정말 많은 일정들이 예정되어있었습니다. Today marks our first mission in Queimados. The day was packed with activities — in the morning, a Children’s Day event at a public school in Queimados, in the afternoon, street evangelism at the plaza, and in the evening, a regional Children’s Day event at ADEQ Church. A truly full schedule awaited us.오늘 하루도 말씀으로 시작했습니다. 오늘의 말씀은 로마서 15:22-33절 말씀으로, 하나님이 기뻐하시는 교회 공동체는 어떤 특성을 갖고있는지에 대해 다루었습니다. 복음중심, 사랑으로 실천하기, 그리고 마지막 기도로 시작하고 기도가 중심되는 공동체가 되어야함을 사도바울은 얘기하고 있습니다.오늘 하루도 저희 브라질 선교팀이 복음이 중심이 되고, 사랑으로 실천하며, 기도로 시작하고 기도가 중심이 되길 원합니다! We began the day with the Word of God. Today’s passage was Romans 15:22–33, which talks about the characteristics of a church community that pleases God.Paul emphasizes that such a community should be:1. Centered on the Gospel,2. Practicing love through action,3. Beginning and remaining in prayer.We pray that our Brazil mission team, too, would be centered on the Gospel, act in love, and be grounded in prayer throughout the day.말씀으로 시작하면 온화한 미소는 물론 피부까지 이렇게 좋아집니다. 반짝반짝When you start your day with the Word, not only do you get a warm smile — your skin even seems to glow and shine!이제 공립학교로 출발합니다! 저희 라이드를 해주신다고 ADEQ 성도분들께서 많이 도와주셨습니다. 여기 운전하고 계신 형제님은 ADEQ교회 담임목사님 아들이십니다.저희가 온다고 정말 많이 신경써주시고 사역에 함께 동참해주시는 좋은 동역자들입니다.  Now we’re off to the public school!Many of the ADEQ church members helped by giving us rides. The brother driving today is the pastor’s son from ADEQ Church. They’ve taken such great care of us and have been amazing partners in ministry.이런 산골 비탈길을 지나, 이제 학교에 도착했습니다! 아이들을 기쁜 마음으로 반겨줍니다! After passing through steep mountain roads, we finally arrived at the school — the children welcomed us with joy!여기 께이마도스 지역엔 가난, 마약중독, 가정폭력이 만연한 동네라고 합니다. 오늘 아이들에게 빛이 되신 우리 주 예수님에대해 얘기해보려고 합니다.The Queimados area, we were told, struggles with poverty, drug addiction, and domestic violence. Today, we wanted to share about Jesus, the Light of the world, with these children. 작년엔 모지의 공립학교 사역중 무당이신 선생님께서 '예수' 이름이 나오거나 전도를 하면 교육청에 신고를 하겠다는 항의가 들어와 공립학교에서 전도를 못할수도 있다는 이야기를 들은 상태였지만,성령님께서 예수 이름이 선포되는 역사를 이루시길 간절히 기도하며 브라질 어린이날 행사를 준비하였습니다.Last year, during a mission at a public school in Moji, a teacher who practiced witchcraft protested that if the name of Jesus was mentioned or any evangelism occurred, she would report it to the education office. So we heard that evangelism might not be allowed in public schools. But we prayed earnestly that the Holy Spirit would make the name of Jesus proclaimed — and prepared for the Children’s Day outreach with faith.어린이날을 맞이해, 아이들이 가지각색의 커스튬을 입고 왔습니다. The children came dressed in colorful costumes to celebrate Children’s Day.Faithland 에서 자주 부르는 찬양곡들로 오프닝 무대를 시작했는데, 반응이 너무 좋습니다! We began with worship songs we often sing at Faithland — and the response was incredible!선교 skit 드라마의 고전인 sin chair로 아이들의 마음을 사로잡았습니다.  Then came a classic mission skit — The Sin Chair — which captured the children’s hearts.태권도팀의 화려한 태권도 시범! Next, the Taekwondo team performed an exciting demonstration!이제는 부스로 나눠 아이들이 각자 즐기고 싶어하는 부스를 돌면서 프로그램을 진행했습니다. 딱지치기, 제기차기, 젤리빈, 페이스페인팅, 게임 부스를 진행했습니다. After that, we divided into various booths where the children could freely participate — paper flipping (ttakji), shuttlecock kicking (jegichagi), jelly bean games, face painting, and other fun activities.제기차기, 딱지치기로 브라질 아이들에게 한국의 놀이를 소개해주었습니다. 뭔가 목사님들께서 동심으로 돌아가신것 같네요.ㅎㅎ We also introduced Korean games like jegichagi and ttakji to the Brazilian kids.Even our pastors seemed to return to their childhood for a moment!크래프트 팀에서 활약한 선교팀 최연소 멤버 민서도 또래 아이들을 섬기는 아름다운 모습입니다.Our youngest mission team member, Minseo, served beautifully at the craft booth, ministering to children her own age.젤리빈을 통하여 자연스럽게 복음을 듣고 알게 되는 부스도 준비하였습니다.There was also a “Jelly Bean Gospel” booth, where children naturally learned about the Gospel through colors and stories — a gentle and joyful way to share the message.아이들이 신나하는 모습을 보면 저희가 더 신납니다! Seeing their excitement made us even happier!학교 교사분들과 한컷We took a photo with the school teachers 선교사님들께서도 저희와 한몸이 되어 모든 부스를 도와주셨습니다. 통역부터 손길들이 필요한 모든 곳에 선교사님들이 계셨습니다.The Korean missionaries joined us, helping with every booth and translation, serving wherever a helping hand was needed.브라질선교에서 태권도 마스터로 변하는 우리의 자랑스런 멤버들입니다. 아님 원래 태생부터 마스터였을수도! Our team members, transformed into Taekwondo masters during this mission, showed such confidence and joy. Or perhaps… they were born masters all along!진희자매님께서는 발차기 한번에 우리의 마스터리 (지원형제님) 의 높은 기준의 인터뷰를 패스하셨습니다. Sister Jinhee even passed our “Master Lee’s” high-standard Taekwondo interview with a single perfect kick!사진만 봐도 우리의 새누리 지체들은 너무나 든든합니다.Just seeing our Saenuri church members in action — it fills us with gratitude.You were there을 통해 아이들이 사탄의 심각성 그리고 우리를 사탄으로 부터 구원해주신 하나님의 놀라운 능력을 알게되었습니다. 심각하게 보는 아이들..Through the skit You Were There, the children learned about the seriousness of sin and Satan — and about God’s amazing power that saves us from him.Their faces grew serious and attentive.볼때마다 항상 감동적이고 박수와 환호성이 나오는 장면. 이 장면을 만들어내기 위해, 어떤 바닥이던지 온몸을 던지는 팀원들을 보면서 감동을 받습니다. 온 몸이 흙과 먼지로 뒤덮혀져도, 보는 사람들에게 하나님의 놀라운 능력을 보여주기 위해, 매 번 이렇게 온 몸을 던지십니다. Every time we perform this skit, it’s deeply moving — met with applause and cheers. Watching our teammates throw themselves onto any surface, covered in dust and dirt, just to portray the power of God — it’s always so touching. They give their all to reveal God’s glory.마지막으로 로컬 어린이날 이벤트를 마치며, 복음을 전할 수 있는 Lord I lift you name on High 찬양을 함께하며, 우리의 죄를 대신해 죽으신 예수님을 찬양했습니다.Finally, we wrapped up the local Children’s Day event with a worship song: Lord, I Lift Your Name on High. Through it, we shared the message of Jesus who died for our sins and praised His name together.손을 들면서 기도하는 선생님과 아이들Teachers and children lifted their hands in prayer너희들의 삶 가운데 빛이신 하나님이 너의 앞길과 너의 삶에 빛을 비추어주시길 진심으로 기도해!아이들과 아쉬운 작별을 하고 다시 교회로 돌아와서 노방전도 준비를 하였습니다. “May the God who is the Light in your lives shine His light upon your paths and your future!”After a heartfelt farewell with the children, we returned to the church to prepare for the afternoon street evangelism.여기 ADEQ교회 학생봉사자들과 한국 선교사님 4분이 함께해주셔서 총 8팀으로 나누어 복음을 전하러 께이마도스 광장으로 행하였습니다.With ADEQ church student volunteers and four Korean missionaries, we formed eight teams to go out and share the Gospel across Queimados Plaza.광장에서 마이크를 잡고 물건을 팔던 한 청년이 마이클에게 마이크를 쥐어주었습니다. 마이클은 그 마이크를 통해 광장에 있는 모든 사람들에게 복음팔찌에 대해 설명했습니다! 이렇게 놀랍게 또 역사하시는 하나님을 찬양합니다! At the plaza, a young man who was selling items handed his microphone to Michael — and Michael boldly used that microphone to explain the Gospel Bracelet to everyone in the plaza!We praise God who works in such surprising ways!로컬 봉사자분들이 많아 하경자매는 로컬 네분과 함께 광장 구석구석을 다니며 복음을 전할 수 있는 은혜를 누렸습니다. Sister Haakyung, joined by four local volunteers, shared the Gospel throughout every corner of the plaza — what a beautiful grace to witness.광장에 있는 모든 사람들에게 복음을 열심히 전하고 있는 우리 팀입니다! Our teams were passionately sharing the Gospel with everyone around!가두리 형식은 절대 아닙니다만.. 효과적인 방법이라고는 할 수 있죠. (It wasn’t a “captive-audience” strategy, of course — but it was definitely an effective one!)이제 민준이도 담대히 복음팔찌를 들고 복음을 전할 수 있습니다! Even young Minjun now boldly holds up his Gospel bracelet and shares the message of Jesus!이렇게 저희의 다섯번째 날 파트 1의 일지가 끝났습니다. And with that, the journal for Day 5, Part 1 of our mission comes to a close.아침부터 여기 지역 초등학교에 직접 가보고, 하나님 말씀을 선포하고 찬양하고, 아이들과 함께 뛰어놀며 복음을 전할 수 있음에 너무 감사한 시간을 보냈습니다.그리고 선교사님들과 ADEQ교회 봉사자분들이랑 같이 손잡으며 광장에서 복음을 전하며, 놀랍게 또 역사하신 하나님을 경험할 수 있음에 더더욱 감사했습니다. From visiting the local elementary school, proclaiming the Word, singing praises, and playing with children while sharing the Gospel, it was a truly blessed and joyful time.And partnering with the missionaries and ADEQ volunteers to share the Gospel at the plaza, we could see God working in powerful ways once again.아직 저희에겐 저녁 하이라이트가 남아있으니, 다음 파트 2도 기대해주세요! Stay tuned for Part 2, the evening highlight!** 그리고 이번편의 수요없는 공급 번외편 **Bonus section: “Supply Without Demand”여기 브라질에 계신 강성선교사님께서 저희 노방전도 및 말씀 선포 통역을 도와주고 계십니다. 감사하게도 께이마도스까지 함께 동행하게 되셨는데, 태권도 퍼포먼스를 하시면서 새누리 누님들께서 자발적으로 만든 팬클럽이 형성되었습니다. 저자도 팬클럽에 가입되어있어, 사심가득 팬심에 사진 올립니다. Here in Brazil, Missionary Kang Seong has been helping us with interpretation during street evangelism and Gospel preaching.We were blessed to have him join us in Queimados, and during his Taekwondo performance, our NCBC sisters spontaneously formed a fan club for him!Let’s just say the author may have joined that fan club... wholeheartedly.  

Ola~~(안녕하세요)모지 (Mogi) 에서 하나님께서 허락하신 새날을 맞이하였습니다. 짧지만 모지에서의 사역을 통하여 브라질 지역에 어린 영혼들 그리고 모지 지역분들을 만나 예수님을 전할수 있는 귀한시간이었습니다마지막날도 예배로 시작되었습니다We welcomed a new day that God graciously allowed us here in Mogi.Though our time in Mogi was short, it was such a precious opportunity to meet young souls and local people in Brazil and share Jesus with them through our ministry.Even on the last day, we began with worship.손목사님께서 로마서 15장 14-21 절 말씀을 풀어주셨습니다.  특히 우리들의 사역이 그리스도 사랑으로 행하여 지면 사람들이 그리스도를 보지만 나의 노력으로 그 사역을 하고자 하면 시간이 갈수록 지쳐간다고 이야기 해주셨습니다.  Pastor Son shared a message from Romans 15:14–21.He especially reminded us that when our ministry is carried out through the love of Christ, people come to see Christ through us — but when we try to do the work by our own effort, we eventually grow weary over time. 성령의 능력으로 오늘도 사역을 해나가기 위하여 기도 하였습니다We prayed that we would continue our ministry today through the power of the Holy Spirit. 기도후에는 그룹별로 나눠져서 로마서 묵상을 셰어하고 서로 기도해주는 시간을 가졌습니다After the prayer, we divided into groups to share our reflections on Romans and spent time praying for one another.카메룬에서 오신 선교사님 부부를 위하여 기도해주시는 손목사님이십니다.Pastor Son is praying for the missionary couple who came from Cameroon. 모지에서 께이마두스 (Queimados) 로 떠나는 여정에 김혜란 선교사님도 같이 해주셨습니다! (6시간의 여정을 떠나기전 모습입니다)Missionary Hye-ran Kim joined us on our journey from Mogi to Queimados!(This was taken right before we set out on the six-hour trip.) 많은 luggage들이 있었지만 순식간에 버스로 옮겨지는 모습에 큰 감동이 있었습니다.  팀원들 모두가 서로 섬김의 모습을 보여주셔서 모지에서 너무 편안하게 떠날수 있었습니다.  Although there was a lot of luggage, it was genuinely moving to see how quickly everything was loaded onto the bus.Every team member demonstrated a wonderful spirit of service, making it easy and peaceful for us to leave Mogi.선교사님과 정식으로 만나는 시간을 가졌습니다.  We had an official meeting with the missionary. 목사님께서 6시간 여정가운데서도 저희를 위하여서 5개의 페이도 세션을 요약해서 말씀해주시고 또 우리가 틈틈히 말씀을 외우도록 노력해주셨습니다During the six-hour journey, the pastor graciously summarized five peitho sessions for us and encouraged us to use every spare moment to memorize Scripture. 브라질 휴게소에 잠시 들려서 30분동안의 휴식을 가졌습니다We stopped by a rest area in Brazil and took a 30-minute break. 브라질 휴게소도 한국 휴게소처럼 다양한 음식을 먹을수 있었습니다.  지금 들고있는 티켓을 들고 원하는 음식을 고르고 나중에 결제하는 시스템이었어요The rest area in Brazil also offered a wide variety of food options, similar to those in Korea.You would take a ticket, choose whatever food you wanted, and then pay for everything at the end. 익숙한 음료수들도 보였습니다We even spotted some familiar drinks! 이렇게 다양한 음식들을 휴게소에서 팔고있었습니다They were selling such a wide variety of foods at the rest area like this.모지에서 꿰이마도스까지...From Mogi to Queimados...ADEQ 교회의 위치입니다the location of ADEQ church드디어 ADEQ 교회에 입성하여 성도들과 기쁨의 재회를 하였습니다.  ADEQ교회의 Pr. Oziel (오지에루) 목사님과 반가운 재회의 순간입니다At last, we arrived at ADEQ Church and joyfully reunited with the congregation.It was such a heartwarming moment to see Pastor Oziel of ADEQ Church again.오지에루 목사님과 이지원형제님이 서로 알아보시고 기쁨의 포옹을 하고 있습니다.Pastor Oziel and Brother Ji-won Lee recognized each other and shared a joyful embrace. 오지에루 목사님과 사모님 그리고 통역해주신 다른 사역자분과 함께 기쁨의 순간들이 담겨있습니다This photo captures the joyful moment shared with Pastor Oziel, his wife, and another minister who kindly served as our interpreter. 저희가 왔다고 태극기와 브라질 국기를 나란히 장식해주시는 정성이 너무나도 감사했습니다.We were deeply touched by their thoughtfulness in decorating the space with the Korean and Brazilian flags side by side to welcome us. 두 국민들의 화합이 그리스도안에서 이루어진 오늘의 사역을 잘 나타내주는 사진이었습니다This photo beautifully represents today’s ministry, where the unity of our two nations was realized in Christ. 저녁시간에 ADEQ 교회 찬양팀원들이 저희들을 위하여 라이브 음악을 들려주시고 마지막에는 저희가 감사의 보답으로 기도를 하였습니다In the evening, the ADEQ Church worship team played live music for us, and at the end, we offered a prayer in gratitude for them. 언어도 문화도 다르지만 예수님을 위하여 살아가는 이들을 축복하고 그들의 사역을 위해서 기도할때 성령께서 우리를 하나로 묶으시는 그런 감동을 허락하셨습니다Though our languages and cultures were different, as we blessed those who live for Jesus and prayed for their ministry, we experienced a moving moment when the Holy Spirit united us as one. ADEQ 교회에서 느낀점은 그들 역시도 그리스도를 위하여 지역사회에 선한 영향력을 펼치고 있고 그리스도의 몸된 교회로서 건강한 몸을 유지하고 있음을 그들이 보여준사랑을 통하여 느꼈습니다. ( https://www.instagram.com/adeqoficial/ 교회 인스타그램도 있네요)What we felt at ADEQ Church was that they, too, are spreading a positive influence in their community for Christ and maintaining a healthy body as the church of Christ.We could sense this through the love they showed us.(They even have an Instagram page: @adeqoficial) 대적기도후에도 서로가 손을 잡고 기도해주며 내일의 사역을 준비하였습니다After the prayer that binds the satanic power in the region,  we held hands and prayed for one another, preparing our hearts for the ministry that awaits us tomorrow. 내일은 이제 브라질 공립학교로 가서 학생들을 대상으로 사역을 시작하게 됩니다.  대적기도전에 손목사님과 함께 로마서 8장 뒷부분을 소리높여 선포하였습니다.  이 믿음의 고백을 통하여 우리 사역이 주님께서 홀로 영광받으시는 내일이 사역이 되길 기도부탁드립니다.Tomorrow, we will begin our ministry at a public school in Brazil, where we will serve the students.Before the intercessory prayer, we joined Pastor Son in boldly proclaiming the latter part of Romans 8 aloud.Please pray that through this confession of faith, our ministry tomorrow will be one in which the Lord alone receives all the glory.로마서 8장하나님은 예정하신 사람들을 부르시고 부르신 그들을 의롭다고 인정하시고 의롭다고 인정하신 그들을 또한 영화롭게 하셨습니다. 그렇다면 우리가 이 일에 대하여 무슨 말을 할 수 있겠습니까? 만일 하나님이 우리 편이시라면 누가 감히 우리를 대항할 수 있겠습니까? 자기 아들까지도 아끼지 않으시고 우리 모든 사람을 위해 내어주신 하나님이 어찌 그 아들과 함께 다른 모든 것도 우리에게 아낌없이 주시지 않겠습니까? 하나님이 택하신 사람들을 누가 감히 고발하겠습니까?우리를 의롭다고 인정하신 분이 하나님이신데 누가 우리를 죄인으로 단정하겠습니까? 그리스도 예수님은 죽었다가 다시 살아나셔서 하나님의 오른편에서 항상 우리를 위해 기도해 주십니다. 그런데 누가 우리를 그리스도의 사랑에서 끊는단 말입니까? 고난입니까? 괴로움입니까? 핍박입니까? 굶주림입니까? 헐벗음입니까? 위험입니까? 칼입니까?이것은 성경에 “우리가 주를 위해 하루 종일 죽음의 위험을 당하고 도살장의 양 같은 취급을 받습니다” 라고 한 말씀과 같습니다.그러나 우리를 사랑하시는 그리스도를 통해 우리는 이 모든 것을 거뜬히 이깁니다.그러므로 죽음이나 생명이나 천사들이나 지옥의 권세나 현재 일이나 장래 일이나 능력이나높은 것이나 깊은 것이나 그 밖에 그 어떤 피조물도 우리 주 그리스도 예수님 안에 있는 하나님의 사랑에서 우리를 끊을 수 없다고 확신합니다.  아멘Romans 8God called those He had predestined, justified those He called, and glorified those He justified.What, then, shall we say in response to these things? 오늘 사역 공유해드릴게 너무 많았던 탓인지, 포스트 한개로 다 못들어갔네요ㅠㅠ 이해 부탁드립니다! 한 페이지에 다 넣기엔 너무 많은 은혜였네요..! It seems we had so many amazing stories to share from today’s ministry that we couldn’t fit them all into one post.Thank you for your understanding — there was just too much grace to fit in one page. 다들 경청하며 이진환 목사님께서 전해주시는 말씀을 듣고 계십니다. 베드로야, 네가 나를 사랑하느냐. 네가 나를 사랑하느냐. 네가 나를 사랑하느냐.. Everyone listened attentively as Pastor Jin Hwan Lee shared the message.“Peter, do you love Me? Do you love Me? Do you love Me?” 예수님의 그 감미로운 질문을 손목사님께서는 잠깐 감상중이십니다..!This tender question of Jesus echoed through the room, and Pastor Son seemed to pause for a moment, deeply moved, soaking in the sweetness of those words.  지역 주민들과 함께 찬양하는 기쁨을 가졌습니다. 정말 많이 연습하고 부르던 곡이 었는데, 과라나바 교회에서 불렀던 Clamo Jesus (I Speak Jesus)의 가사가 이번엔 더 특별히 마음에 와닿았습니다. 정말 이 찬양의 가사처럼, 과라나바 지역의 주민들 그리고 이 교회 교인들의 모든 어둠이 끊어질때까지 예수 이름을 말하기 원합니다! 모든 두렴과 불안, 어둠에 잡힌 모든 영혼에게 예수의 이름을 선포하길 원합니다!!We had the joy of singing with the local residents. Though we’ve practiced and sung it many times, the lyrics of “Clamo Jesus (I Speak Jesus)” touched us especially deeply tonight at Guanabara Church. Just as the song declares, we want to speak the name of Jesus over the people of Guanabara and this church until all darkness breaks—over every fear, anxiety, and soul held by the night.After the service, we shared sweet fellowship with the congregation. We had prayed in the morning for Brazil’s next generation; worshiping and fellowshipping with them here at Guanabara moved us even more. We earnestly pray that the fire of the Holy Spirit would fall on this land, and that the next generation would grow healthy in Jesus.예배가 끝난 후, 교인들과 함께 교제하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 오늘 아침에 브라질지역의 다음세대를 위해서 기도했는데, 이곳 과나바라 교회에서 직접 다음세대와 함께 예배하고 교제하니, 더욱더 이 브라질 땅에도 성령의 불이 임하셔서 다음세대가 예수님 안에서 건강히 자라나길 간절히 소망합니다.  새누리 가족분들께서 기도해주신 덕분에, 비가 예정되었던 날씨 아래에서 하나님 은혜로 비를 피하며 복음을 전할 수 있었습니다. Thanks to the prayers of our Saenuri family, although rain was expected, by God’s grace we were able to avoid the rain and proclaim the gospel.내일은 리오로 넘어가는 일정이 있습니다. 5-6시간 동안 버스 타고 이동되어지는 가운데, 안전하게 다음 사역지로 잘 넘어갈 수 있도록 기도부탁드립니다.   Tomorrow we head to Rio. We’ll travel 5–6 hours by bus; please pray that we’ll arrive safely at the next ministry site.또 브라질 선교지는 특별히, 젊은 선교사님들께서 많이 계십니다. 덕분에 저희는 이번에 복음을 전할때 너무 든든한 지원군들이 계셔서 언어가 장벽이 되지 않는 은혜를 누릴 수 있었습니다.  부모님께서 선교사로 브라질땅에 오시고, 또 부모님의 삶을 본받아, 하나님만 영광돌리는 삶을 살기 위해, 선교사의 길을 가시는 젊은 선교사님들을 위해 기도 부탁드립니다!  Brazil’s mission field has many young missionaries. Because of them, we were blessed with strong support in sharing the gospel—language was no barrier. Please pray for these young missionaries—children of missionaries who came to Brazil and, following their parents’ lives of faith, now walk the missionary path themselves, living only for the glory of God.IAC, Seungjuchan!!

Because of your prayers, even though rain was forecasted, not a single drop fell during our busking and street evangelism. We were able to freely sing, dance, and proclaim the love of Jesus throughout the square — joyfully running around for His glory!그럼 이제 저희에게 허락하신 세번째 날에 일어났던 선교 현장을 생생히 전해보도록 하겠습니다.Now, here’s a live look at day three of what the Lord allowed us to do.아침예배 전, 서로 빵을 뜯으며 교제하면서 하루를 시작했습니다.Our day began by breaking bread together — quite literally — before morning worship.오늘 아침예배는 이동수 목사님께서 진행해주셨습니다. 주님의 선하심 (Goodness of God)을 찬양하며, Your goodness is running after me를 온마음 다해 한단어 한단어 부르며 주님의 선하심 덕분에 두려움 없으니, 하나님께 모든 것을 드리는 고백을 하면서 하루를 시작했습니다. 오늘 하루도 주님께 드리길 간절히 원합니다.  Pastor Dongsoo Lee led the service, and as we sang “Goodness of God”, especially the line “Your goodness is running after me,” we were reminded once again of His endless grace and faithfulness. We prayed that everything we do today would be our offering to Him.오늘 만날 영혼들을 위해, 그리고 아픈 지체들을 위해 손을 얹고 목놓아 기도했습니다. We laid hands on one another and prayed earnestly — for the souls we would meet today, and for the health and strength of our team members.오늘의 QT말씀 로마서 15장 1-13절 말씀을 통해 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 공동체는 어떤 공동체인지 깨닫게 해주셨습니다. 1. 다른 이들을 기쁘게 하는 것 ("우리 각 사람이 이웃을 기쁘게 하되.." 2절) 2. 선을 이루고 덕을 세우는 것 ("선을 이루고 덕을 세우도록 할지니라.." 2절)3. 하나 됨 ("한 마음과 한 입으로.." 6절)4. 하나님께 영광을 돌리는 것 ("그러므로 그리스도께서 우리를 받아 하나님께 영광을 돌리심과 같이.." 7절)Through today’s passage, God reminded us of what kind of community pleases Him: One that brings joy to others (v.2) One that builds up and does good (v.2) One that is united in heart and voice (v.6) One that glorifies God together (v.7) 손목사님을 통해 깨닫게 해주신 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 공동체. 오늘 브라질 선교 팀원들이 이 말씀을 가지고 하나님께 힘쓰고, 서로에게 힘써 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 공동체가 되도록 노력했던 것 같습니다.오늘의 사역을 돌아보니, 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 공동체의 모습인 1, 2, 3, 4번 모두를 실천할 수 있었던 하루였던 것 같네요. 하나님께서 우리의 마음과 헌신을 기쁘게 받아주셨으리라 믿습니다..!With these words, we sought to live out each truth throughout the day — encouraging one another, serving joyfully, and giving glory to God. Looking back, we truly believe He received our small efforts with joy.​각자 소그룹으로 나눠 오늘 말씀을 읽고 받은 은혜를 짧게 나눔하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 그리고 오늘 노방전도를 나가기전, 복음은 어떻게 전하면 되는지, 복음팔찌와 지원형제님의 꿀팁들을 전수받는 시간을 가졌습니다. 지원형제님의 온화하시고 기쁜 얼굴의 표정을 보니, 아마 천국에 대해 설명하실때 찍힌 사진 인것 같습니다. 여러분, 천국을 설명할때는 저 온화하며 기쁜 얼굴 꼭 기억해주시길 바랍니다!We then split into small groups to read the passage and briefly share the grace each one received. Before heading out for street evangelism, we reviewed how to share the gospel, practiced with the Gospel bracelet, and received tips from Brother Jiwon. Judging from Brother Jiwon’s warm, joyful expression in one photo, we’re pretty sure it was taken while he was explaining heaven—friends, when you talk about heaven, please remember that gentle, joyful face! 그리고 바로 모지 다운타운으로 버스킹과 노방전도를 하기 위해 나갔습니다. We then went straight to downtown Moji for busking and street evangelism.오늘의 첫 버스킹 순서는 바디워십 - Nothing is Impossible입니다! 팀원들의 당당한 저 얼굴과 표정!비법은 바로.. Through YOU! I can DO ANYTHING! Our first busking set was Body Worship — “Nothing Is Impossible.” See those confident faces? The secret is simple: “Through You, I can do anything!”점점 사람들이 모여들기 시작했습니다. People gradually began to gather. 바디워십 팀 처음엔 발이 땅으로 부터 떨어지지가 않았는데, 이제는 날라다닙니다. 정말루요! 모지 다운타운에서 이렇게 하나님향해 춤추며 날아다니게 될 줄, 누가 상상이나 했겠나요?At first, our body worship team couldn’t get their feet off the ground—but now we’re flying. Truly! Who would have imagined we’d be dancing and soaring for the Lord through downtown Moji like this?바로 뮤지컬을 시작했습니다. 새누리 성도님들께서는 저번 주일에 벌써 프리뷰를 보셨던 제 1막 천치창조로 시작했어요.We launched right into the musical. As many of you at Saenuri saw in Sunday’s preview, we began with Act 1: Creation.아담: 얏호! 내가 창조된 날! 기쁘다! 하나님: 흐뭇 Adam: “Yay! The day I was created! I’m so happy!”God: (Smiles contentedly) 하나님: 아담아 내가 널 위해 지은것을 봐다오!아담: 와!고릴라: 흐뭇God: Adam, look at what I made for you! Adam: Wow! Gorilla: (Also pleased)모지 다운타운에서 하나님께서 창조하신 모든 피조물의 아름다움을 전하며, 그중에서도 사람을 가장 기쁘게 지으신 하나님의 뜻을 온 마음과 몸으로 표현했습니다.그리고 바로 다음 제 2막, 죄와 사탄으로 넘어갔습니다. In the middle of downtown Moji, we conveyed the beauty of all God’s creation, and with all our heart and body we expressed God’s purpose in creating people for His joy.Then we moved straight to Act 2: Sin and Satan.사실 진정한 최종보스는... 이 사진에서 바로 찾을 수 있어요. (feat. 뒤에서 팔짱 끼신...) (And yes—the true final boss can be spotted right there in that scene… featuring someone with folded arms in the back!)우리를 사랑하시기에 사탄과 죽음도 거뜬히 다 이기시고, 우리를 지켜주시고 보호해주시는 그 놀라운 하나님의 사랑을 보여줄 수 있었습니다.그리고 대망의 제 3막! You Raise Me Up을 통해, 무너진 나를 다시 세워주시고, 은혜의 자리로 불러주신 하나님께 드리는 감사와 감격으로 마음을 담아 찬양했습니다.Because He loves us, God defeated Satan and death and keeps and protects us; we were able to show that amazing love.Then the long-awaited Act 3: “You Raise Me Up.” We sang with gratitude and awe to the God who raises the fallen, stands us back up, and calls us again to the place of grace.광장을 지나가시는 많은 분들께서 멈춰주시고, 저희의 찬양과 퍼포먼스를 함께 바라봐 주셨습니다.Many who were passing through the square stopped, watching our praise and performance together with us. 그리고 삼삼오오 조를 나눠 광장에 있는 사람들에게 복음팔찌를 들고 복음을 전하기 시작했습니다. 선교사님께서 저희의 입과 귀가 되어주셔서 복음을 전하고 사람들의 기도제목을 듣고 한 영혼 한 영혼 손을 붙잡고 기도할 수 있었음에 너무 감사했습니다. Afterward, we split into smaller teams and shared the gospel with people across the square using the Gospel bracelets. The local missionaries became our mouths and ears, helping us share the gospel, listen to prayer requests, and hold hands to pray soul by soul—we’re so grateful.   Ingreja 자매님이십닌다. 스킷후 김재영 목사님께서 영접하신 분들중에 복음에 더 알기원하시면 팀원들 찾아가라고 말하셔서 한자매가 바로 제게 찾아와서 서로 대화할줄몰라 좀 망설이다가 통역 하시는 선교사님 통해 도움받아 복음전하고 마음열고 받아주셨습니다. After the skit, Pastor Jaeyoung Kim told those who had just accepted Christ that if anyone wanted to learn more about the gospel, they could come talk to our team. One sister, Ingreja, came straight to me — we hesitated a little since we didn’t share a common language, but with the help of a missionary who translated for us, I was able to share the gospel.광장에서 처음으로 복음전하게 된 현지인 중년형제님들, 왼쪽부터 Luiz, Sergio, Sergio, Carmon. 모두 마음열고 주님을 구주로 고백하게 됐습니다. 두번째 Sergio 형제는 복음 받을때 눈시울이 불어지셨는데, 알고보니 일본인 출신 브라질 분이셔서 손목사님께서 유창한 일본어로 서로 대화하며 축복해주셨습니다!  The first local brothers we led to the Lord in the square—from left: Luiz, Sergio, Sergio, Carmon—all opened their hearts and confessed Jesus as Lord. The second Sergio grew teary as he received the gospel; we learned he is Japanese-Brazilian, and Pastor Son blessed him, speaking fluent Japanese.노방전도중에 우리를 향해 오시는 4분의 가족들에게 복음전하고 모두 주님을 구주로 고백하셨습니다.Rosangela, Agnaldo, Geraldo, Geralda. 기도제목으로는 Geraldo 아들인 Jose 가 알콜중독이라 같이 기도하는 시간을 가졌습니다. We then shared the gospel with a family of four approaching us during street evangelism—Rosangela, Agnaldo, Geraldo, Geralda—and they all confessed Jesus as Lord. For a prayer request, we prayed together for Jose, Geraldo’s son, who struggles with alcohol addiction.마음이 따듯하신 Largo 자매님은 복음 받아들이시고 우리 모두에게 여러번 볼에 뽀뽀를 해주셨습니다.ㅎㅎOur warm-hearted sister Largo received the gospel—and gave the team several cheek kisses in gratitude!광장에서 벤치에 앉아서 쉬고 있는 두청년, 우리 노방전도 팀에 딱 걸려서 복음 전달받고 주님을 구주로 영접하셨습니다!Two young men resting on a bench also received the gospel—and welcomed Jesus.모지 다운타운 구석구석을 다니면서 만난 사람들에게 곧 광장에서 바디워십이 있을 예정이니, 꼭 왔으면 좋겠다고 초대했습니다. 그리고 정말 노방전도를 통해 만났던 많은 분들께서 저희의 두번째 워십때 함께 해주시고, 같이 박수쳐주시고, 같이 환호해주셨습니다. We went through every corner of downtown Moji, inviting people to come to our next body worship set in the square. Many we had met during evangelism actually came, clapped, and cheered during our second worship!이번엔 Nothing is Impossible 바디워십을 시작으로, 스킷 그리고 Clamo Jesus (I speak Jesus) 합창을 했습니다. This time we began again with “Nothing Is Impossible,” followed by the skit, and a choral rendition of “Clamo Jesus (I Speak Jesus).”  합창이 끝난 후 김재영 목사님께서 말씀을 전해주시고, 마음이 움직인 지체들에게 손을 들고 앞으로 나와 같이 영접기도와 축복 기도의 시간을 가졌습니다. After the chorus, Pastor Jaeyoung Kim preached; those whose hearts were moved raised their hands and came forward for a decision prayer and a time of blessing prayer.  광장에서 경험하고 느꼈던, 하나님께서 통치하는 나라와 그 순간들은 정말 파워풀했습니다. 처음 만났지만, 서로 손을 붙잡고, 포옹하면서 기도하고, 복음을 전하고 복음을 모지 시내에서 선포할 수 있음에 너무 감사했습니다. What we experienced in the square — the glimpses of God’s Kingdom reigning here and now — was truly powerful.Though we had just met, we held hands, embraced, prayed together, and proclaimed the gospel throughout the streets of Moji. Our hearts were filled with deep gratitude for being part of what God is doing in this city.벌써 너무 많은 일이 벌써 일어난것 같지만, 아직 저희에겐 과나바다 교회에서의 사역을 남겨두고 있습니다. 광장에서 돌아오고 난 후, 잠깐 짐을 챙기고 과나바다 교회로 향했습니다. It already feels like so much has happened, yet our journey isn’t over — we still have ministry ahead at Guanabara Church. After returning from the square, we packed our things and headed straight there, ready for what God had prepared next.교회에 도착하자마자 바로 조를 나누어, 지역 주민들에게 오늘 있을 수요예배에 초대하며 복음을 전하는 노방전도를 진행했습니다. As soon as we arrived, we formed teams and went out to invite local residents to the Wednesday service, sharing the gospel along the way.이렇게 과나바라 교회에서 저희가 온다고 특별히 포스터까지 제작해주셨습니다ㅎㅎ그럼 이제 지역주민들 만나러 출발! The church even made a special poster because we were coming—so thoughtful! And off we went to meet the neighbors. 좋은 소식을 전하며 평화를 공포하며 복된 좋은 소식을 가져오며 구원을 공포하며 시온을 향하여 이르기를네 하나님이 통치하신다 하는 자의 산을 넘는 발이 어찌 그리 아름다운가 이사야 52:7 “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’” — Isaiah 52:7정말 복음의 능력은 파워풀합니다! 처음엔 영접기도를 거절하셨던 형제님께서, 복음에 대해 두번째 다시 들으시고 영접기도를 하셨습니다. 비즈니스를 하시는 이 형제님의 사업이 하나님나라에 쓰이길, 또 축복의 통로가 되길 축복기도했습니다! Truly, the power of the gospel is powerful! One brother initially refused the prayer of acceptance, but after hearing the gospel a second time, he prayed to receive Christ. We prayed that his business would be used for God’s kingdom and become a channel of blessing. 마약파는 사람들 사이에 껴서 같은 비지니스? 를 하는 형제입니다. 어렸을적부터 주님알았다고 했지만 그렇게 현재 살고 있지 않고 복음듣고 영접기도를 말설였으나 나중에는 마음활짝열고 주님을 구주로 고백하셨습니다.We also met a brother among people selling drugs, involved in the same “business.” He said he had known the Lord since childhood but wasn’t living that way. He initially hesitated about the prayer, but in the end he opened his heart wide and confessed Jesus as Lord.두번째 사역장소: 가게 주인. 처음에는 복음을 받아들이기 말성이다가 나중에 마음열고 주님을 구주로 고백하셨습니다!  At a second location, a store owner at first hesitated, but later opened his heart and confessed Jesus as Lord. 오후에 노방전도중에 건너편 사는 가족중에 한 아이가 간질이 있어서 자주 거품물고 쓰러진다고해서 그 집에 가보았습니다. 아이는 아직 집에 없어서 교회예배 초대하고 교회에 와서 모든 예배순서 참여하시고, 손목사님께서 이 아이의 질병의 치유위해 기도해주셨습니다! :)In the afternoon, during street evangelism, we heard about a child with epilepsy in a family across the way—often foaming and collapsing—so we went to visit. The child wasn’t home yet, so we invited the family to church, and they came and participated in the whole service; Pastor Son prayed for the child’s healing.과나바라 지역을 또 복음을 들고 산과 언덕을 타며 달렸더니, 벌써 늦은 저녁이 되었네요! 예배를 준비하러 얼른 교회로 돌아갑니다. 예배에 오신 교인들, 노방전도를 통해 만났던 지역 주민들, 그리고 어제 VBS에서 만났던 아이들을 온 맘 다해 환영했습니다. After carrying the gospel over hills and slopes in the Guanabara area, it was already late evening. We hurried back to church to prepare for worship.We warmly welcomed the church members, the local residents we had met during evangelism, and the children from yesterday’s VBS.찬양을 부르고, 말씀 듣기 전 바디워십 및 스킷을 보여드리는 시간을 가졌습니다. 오늘 하루종일 바디워십, 스킷을 했음에도 불구하고, 매번 새롭게 느껴지는 이유는 왜 일까요..! 아직도 안무가 새롭습니다..! Before the sermon, we shared body worship and the skit. Even though we had done body worship and the skit all day, it somehow felt new every time—as if the choreography itself was still fresh!

Bon Dia! 봉지아! 브라질에서 저희에게 새로운 하루를 주신 하나님을 찬양합니다! Praise the Lord who’s given us a brand-new day to glorify His name here in Brazil!어제 잠깐 눈을 붙히고 브라질에서의 첫 상쾌한 아침을 맞이했습니다. 오후에 유치부 VBS 사역이 있어, 오전엔 상대적으로 조금 여유로운 아침을 보낼 수 있었던 은혜를 누릴 수 있었습니다. 교회, 학교, 카페가 같이 붙어있는데 아침 먹고 오전 예배 드리기 전, 각자만의 방법으로 아침의 여유를 부렸습니다. 산책을 가거나, 말씀을 읽으며 깨달은 은혜 나누기..? After catching just a few hours of sleep, we woke up to our first refreshing morning in Brazil. Since our VBS program with the preschoolers was scheduled for the afternoon, we were blessed with a slow, peaceful morning. The church, school, and café are all connected here, so before morning worship, everyone enjoyed the free time in their own ways — some went on walks, others shared reflections from their Bible reading. 저희가 삼일동안 묵을 교회 + 학교입니다! This is the church and school that will be our home for the next two days!오전 예배엔 주님만이 우리의 왕이심을 선포했습니다. 내 삶에, 이 곳에, 그리고 온 땅에, 모든 이름 위에 뛰어나신 우리 주 예수만이 우리의 왕임을 손을 높이 들며 선포하며 찬양했습니다. During morning worship, we declared that Jesus alone is King — over our lives, over this place, and over all the earth. We lifted our hands high and sang with all our hearts, proclaiming His name above every name.손목사님께서 여기에서 사역하고 계시는 선교사님 자녀들, 그리고 지금 선교사의 길을 걷고 계신 젊은 선교사님들을 안수하시며 축복기도해주셨습니다. Pastor Son then prayed over the missionaries’ children and the young missionaries currently serving in Brazil, laying hands on them and blessing their journeys. 기도 후, 다시 한번 크게 승주찬을 크게 외쳤습니다! 그리고 손목사님께서 특별히 한국어가 어색한 James형제님, 한국어를 아예 모르는 Michael형제님께 '승주찬'을 또박또박 외치는 특훈에 들어갔습니다. After the prayer, we shouted “Seungjuchan!” at the top of our lungs — and Pastor Son gave James (who’s still getting used to Korean) and Michael (who doesn’t speak any Korean) a special crash course in saying it clearly. 이젠 또박또박 큰 소리로 '승주찬'을 외치는 형제님들이십니다! Now they’re “Seungjuchan” pros!옆에 있는 형제 자매님들이 이렇게 James와 Michael을 위해 동시통역을 해줍니다. 한국말을 거의 못하는 Michael은 이제 눈치로 한국어를 거의 다 이해할 수 있는것 같아보여요. Our brothers and sisters here have been providing real-time translation for James and Michael during the sessions. And as for Michael — who hardly speaks any Korean — it seems like he’s now starting to understand almost everything just by context and vibe!오늘의 QT말씀은 로마서 14:13-23절 말씀이었습니다. 19절 '그러므로 우리가 화평의 일과 서로 덕을 세우는 일을 힘쓰나니' -- 덕은 히브리어로 '오이코도메'라고 손목사님께서 가르쳐주셨습니다. '집'이라는 뜻의 '오이코스'와 '짓다'라는 뜻의 '도메'가 합쳐져 덕의 의미를 이룬다고 합니다. 즉, 저희는 하나님의 집을 짓는데에 힘을 써야하는 사람들임을, 그리고 서로 같이 집을 지어야함을 알려주셨습니다. Today’s QT passage was Romans 14:13–23, and we focused on verse 19: “Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.” Pastor Son explained that “edification” in Greek is oikodome — a combination of oikos (house) and domeo (to build). In other words, we are called to build God’s house together.그래서 말씀을 들은 후, 선교의 꽃 'Jesus In Me'를 부르며 우리안에 있는 성령님을 통해 서로를 사랑하고 축복하는 시간을 가졌습니다.원래는 선교 중반쯤 하이라이트로 진행되는 특별 코너인데, 이번엔 특별히 첫 날 사역 시작하기 전 첫 예배때 진행되었습니다. 여기서 섬기고 계신 선교사님들과 함께 손을 잡고 이름을 나누고 내 안에 계신 예수님이 선교사님과 형제 자매님들을 사랑함을 고백하는 시간을 가졌습니다.After the message, we sang “Jesus In Me” — a special moment that usually happens mid-mission but was intentionally brought forward to mark our first worship service. Hand in hand with the local missionaries, we shared names and reminded one another that Jesus in me loves you. 처음엔 어색함이 공존했던 예배당이었지만, 끝날때 쯔음 서로에 대한 긍휼한 마음 그리고 각 형제 자매님들 통해 역사하실 성령님을 기대하며 예배당은 서로에 대한 사랑으로 가득차여졌습니다. 오늘 주신 QT 말씀과 은혜를 서로 나누는 시간을 가졌습니다. 'Jesus in Me'를 부르고 나니, 서로를 향한 눈빛이 사랑으로 변했음을 바로 알아채실 수 있으시죠? At first, the room felt a little awkward. But by the end, it was overflowing with compassion, love, and deep expectation for how the Holy Spirit would work through each person. As we shared reflections from the QT, we could literally see love shining in each other’s eyes.자, 이제는 우리의 이번 첫 사역 VBS를 준비해보도록 하겠습니다! Now it was time to get ready for our very first VBS!기도로 아이들을 맞을 준비를 완료했습니다! 아이들 눈 하나하나 마주치며, 그 영혼을 기뻐 받으실 예수님을 생각하고 예수님의 사랑을 전할 수 있는 저희가 되길 기도했습니다. 오늘 vbs 주인공 아이들이 등장했습니다! 팀원들은 기쁜 마음으로 아이들 한명 한명을 환영해주었습니다. We prayed before welcoming the children — asking that as we meet each little one eye to eye, we would remember how precious they are to Jesus and become messengers of His love. And then, the stars of the day arrived — the kids! Our team greeted each one with joy and open arms.Magnified 찬양으로 VBS를 시작했습니다!처음엔 생소했던 노래가 이제 점점 브라질 모지 지역에 더 크게 아이들의 목소리로 울려 퍼져나가기 시작했습니다. We kicked off VBS with “Magnified.” It was unfamiliar at first, but soon the children’s voices grew louder and stronger, filling Moji with joyful praise.레베카 전도사님의 말씀에 귀를 기울이며 열심히 참여하는 모지 유치원 아이들입니다. 레베카 전도사님께서 하나님께서 우리에게 주시고 창조하신 모든 만물들에 대해 설명하고 계십니다. 아이들이 너도나도 손을 들면서 또 어떤 것을 창조하셨는지 기쁨으로 얘기합니다. Pastor Rebecca shared about God’s creation and all the wonderful things He made. The children eagerly raised their hands, excited to share what they knew.이제는 VBS 각 스테이션을 돌면서 프로그램을 진행합니다. 태권도, 크래프트, 영어, 게임 총 4 부스가 진행됩니다! 각각의 부스에서 진행되었던 생생한 현장을 함께 보시죠!Next, the kids rotated through four stations: Taekwondo, Crafts, English, and Games!태권도​에서는 한국의 예와 범절, 그리고 친구들과 싸우지 않고 태권도를 통해 자신의 몸을 지키며, 하나님의 힘을 표현할 수 있다고 아이들에게 다양한 기합과 발차기로 가르쳐주었습니다. At the Taekwondo station, they learned about respect and self-control — that we use our strength not to fight but to protect and to reflect God’s power. 팀원들의 큰 기합소리와 날렵한 몸짓에 아이들이 박수를 엄청 쳐주었습니다.The loud shouts (kihaps) and dynamic moves earned big applause from the kids.저희 이번 2025 새누리 브라질 태권도 팀원들은 날라다니는 것은 기본 소양입니다 ^^For our 2025 Saenuri Brazil Taekwondo team, flying kicks are just basic training.저희 2025 브라질 태권도 팀원들은 팔굽혀펴기도 거뜬히 할 수 있습니다..^^다행히 아이들도 열심히 따라와주었습니다! And of course, push-ups are no problem for us either! Thankfully, the kids kept up with great energy and enthusiasm too!크래프트​에서는 Magnified를 주제로 하나님께서 지으신 세계, 창조물, 그리고 사이사이에 십자가 스티커를 붙히고 돋보기로 자세히 보는 시간을 가졌습니다. At the Craft station, we explored God’s magnificent creation with a “Magnified” theme — decorating with cross stickers and looking closely through magnifying glasses.영어부스에서는  Magnified 가사를 주제로 Big, Love, Praise, God 등등 주요 단어들을 율동하면서 더 자세히 배웠습니다.조금 더 큰 아이들은 돋보기를 이용해 영어단어를 찾는 액티비티도 진행했습니다. At the English station, we danced and learned key words from the Magnified song like “Big,” “Love,” “Praise,” and “God.” Older kids even played a magnifier word-search game.게임부스에서는 아이들이 협동해서 다같이 힘을 모아 큰 공을 움직이고 작은 주머니를 옮기는 재밌는 게임들을 진행했습니다. The Game station was all about teamwork — working together to move giant balls and small beanbags in fun challenges.마지막으로 Sin Chair로 아이들에게 죄를 해결해줄 수 있는 것은 돈도, 힘도, 능력도 아닌, 오직 말씀과 예수님으로만 해결 할 수 있음을 skit을 통해 보여주었습니다. Finally, we presented a “Sin Chair” skit, teaching the kids that sin can’t be removed by money, power, or effort — only by God’s Word and by Jesus.레베카 전도사님께서 아이들에게 죄에 대해 다시 한번 일러주시고, 하나님의 놀라운 역사와 찬양을 Magnified와 We Worship You 율동을 통해 브라질 땅에 복음을 전했습니다.오늘 함께한 아이들과 마지막으로 단체사진을 찍으며 VBS를 마무리했습니다!!Pastor Rebecca wrapped up the day by speaking once again about sin and God’s redemptive power, and we ended with “Magnified” and “We Worship You,” proclaiming the gospel through song and dance.We took a joyful group photo with all the kids — the perfect ending to our first VBS!오늘 저녁은 선교사님들께서 슈하스코 브라질 바베큐를 준비해주셨습니다. 오늘 날씨도 비가 올줄 알았는데, vbs끝날때까지 선선한 날씨를 주셨습니다. 정말 하나님께서는 저희 브라질 선교팀에게 계속 favor upon favor를 베풀어주셨습니다. 브라질 바베큐는 정말 먹어본 사람만 느낄 수 있는 그 감동이 있었습니다. 그 감동 느껴보고 싶으신 분들, 내년에 꼭 함께해요!!That evening, the missionaries treated us to a delicious Brazilian churrasco barbecue. We’d expected rain, but God blessed us with cool, pleasant weather all the way until the end of VBS.Truly, God continues to pour out favor upon favor on our Brazil mission team. And as for the barbecue — well, let’s just say it’s something you have to taste to understand. 안녕하세요! 올라! 이번 2025 브라질선교 기자를 맡게된 이하경 & 정진우 부부입니다. 이제 막 저희의 첫 사역지인 모지 교회에 도착하여, 이제야 안부인사 올립니다 :) Ola! This is Haakyung & Jinwoo, and we’re so honored to share stories from the 2025 Brazil Mission Trip with you all.We’ve just arrived at our very first ministry site in Moji, and finally have a moment to say hello and let you know how our journey has been so far.  저희 이번 총 31명의 팀원들은 10/6 새벽1시에 브라질 상파울로로 가는 비행기에 올라탔습니다. 파나마시티까지 7시간, 그리고 4시간의 경유, 또 상파울로까지 7시간, 현지에 도착하면 밤 12시가 넘은 10/7에 도착하게되어져 첫 하루는 비행기안에서만 이루어집니다.Our team of 31 missionaries boarded the plane to São Paulo on October 6 at 1 a.m. It was quite the journey: 7 hours to Panama City, a 4-hour layover, and then another 7-hour flight to Brazil. By the time we landed, it was past midnight on October 7 — meaning our very first “day” of mission work was spent entirely on airplanes!같이 샌프란공항으로 가기 전, 많은 교인분들께서 나와주셔서 격려해주시고, 기도에 동참해주시고, 차를 타고 가는 그 순간까지도 열렬히 잘 갔다오라고 응원해주셨습니다. 엄마, 아빠를 선교지로 보내는 아이들의 응원하는 그 마음, 이번에 함께하지 못하지만, 아쉬운 마음 가득담아 준비해주신 구디백을 준비해주신 귀한 손길들과 사랑 듬뿍 받고 샌프란 공항으로 향하였습니다. Before heading to SFO, so many of you came out to send us off with encouragement, prayers, and hugs — even cheering for us from the car windows as we drove away. We felt deeply loved and supported. We were especially moved by the kids sending their moms and dads off with brave smiles, and by the thoughtful hands who prepared care packages for us. We left for the airport overflowing with love and strength.    전쟁터에 아직 나가기 전인데 벌써 전쟁터에서 승리할것을 확신하고 미리 환호받는 느낌이었습니다! 아직 올림픽에 나가기도 전인데, 금메달을 따올거라고 확신한것 같기도 하구요! 생각해보니, 저희는 벌써 승리했네요! 모든 전쟁은 예수님께 속해있고, 예수님은 벌써 승리하셨으니깐요! 선교지에서 영적 전쟁, 사단의 역사를 거뜬히 물리치고 성령의 불로 무장하여 저희가 밟는 모든 브라질 땅에 복음만이 선포되어져 승리의 환호성을 부를 저희를 기대해주시기 바랍니다! It almost felt like we were being celebrated before even stepping onto the battlefield — as if we’d already won the victory. Like an athlete being cheered for before the Olympics even begins. And you know what? We have already won — because every battle belongs to Jesus, and He has already overcome. We believe that same victory will unfold here: the gospel will be proclaimed across every corner of Brazil we step on, the enemy’s work will be defeated, and we will shout for joy in the victory of Christ!샌프란공항에서 짐을 다 잘 부치고, 개불세순을 다시 한번 외치며 조로 나눠 서로 나눔과 말씀을 외우기 시작했습니다. 파나마시티까지 성경구절 5개 외워야해요! 이번 비행기안에서는 로마서, 갈라디아서, 에베소서를 묵상하면서 갑니다 :)After checking in our luggage at the airport, we split into small groups, reminding COPS (NO Complaints/ ABSOLUTE Obedience / NO Personal Activities / NO Secular talks), to share reflections and start memorizing Scripture together — we have to memorize five verses before landing in Panama City! During the flights, we also spent time meditating on Romans, Galatians, and Ephesians.  안전하게 파나마 시티까지 잘 도착해 감사기도 올렸습니다! Praise God, we arrived safely in Panama and thanked God for allowing us to have a safe flight!점심을 간단히 먹고 QT나눔과 말씀 외우기를 본격적으로 했습니다. After a quick lunch, we dove back into our QT sharing and continued memorizing verses. 말씀이 머리에 들어가지 않는 자들의 통곡의 벽... 제일 어린 민서도 예외없이 말씀 5개를 다 통과를 해야합니다. (알고보니 팀에서 제일 에이스였다는..!) Of course… there were some tears of frustration from those struggling to memorize. Even our youngest team member, Minseo, had to pass the five-verse challenge — and surprise, she turned out to be the fastest memorizer of all! ????말씀은 진희 자매님처럼 당당하게 외워야합니다. We should memorize Words boldly and confidently -- just like Sister Jinhee does!  사랑의 작대기.. (no pointing, just an arrow of love) 어린 민서의 활약 The youngest crew member crushing the bible verse memorization! 기쁨이 여기까지 느껴지네요! I can feel their joy even through photos! 이제 상파울로로 가는 비행기에 올라탑니다! 비행기로 지나가는 하나님께서 예비하신 풍경은 정말 말로 표현할 수 없을정도로 경이로웠습니다.Now we’re boarding our final flight to São Paulo. And as we soared through the skies, the breathtaking views God painted outside our windows reminded us once again of His glory and the beauty of His creation. 7시간의 긴 비행을 지나 드디어 상파울로에 잘 도착했습니다!!After another long 7-hour flight, we arrived in São Paulo safe and sound!  영채 선교사님께서 저희를 데리러 와주셨습니다. 감사해요! 저희가 묵을 교회/숙소에 도착해서 선교사님께서 준비해주신 샌드위치, 바나나를 먹으면서 교제하는 시간을 가졌습니다. Missionary Youngchae kindly came to pick us up — we’re so grateful for her!Once we arrived at the church where we’ll be staying, we shared a sweet time of fellowship together over delicious sandwiches and bananas that she had lovingly prepared for us.내일 저희는 이곳 모지 교회에서 4~6세 아이들을 위한 VBS 사역으로 첫 사역을 시작합니다. 저희 한 사람 한 사람에게 성령의 충만함과 성령의 불이 임하여, 새누리교회 성도님들이 보내주신 사랑을 더해 이 브라질 땅에 복음을 전할 수 있도록 계속해서 기도 부탁드립니다!Tomorrow, we’ll officially begin our ministry here in Moji with a VBS program for children ages 4 to 6. Please continue to pray that the Holy Spirit will fill each one of us and set our hearts on fire, so that we can carry and share the love that our NCBC family has sent with us — and deliver it to the people of Brazil with power and grace.  

 브라질 상파울루와 리우로 떠나는 단기선교팀 31명이 주님의 은혜 안에서 드디어 출발했습니다.출발 전, 온 팀이 함께 모여 하나님께 기도하며 마음을 모았습니다. 우리를 보내시고 인도하시는 분이 하나님이심을 고백하며, 가는 길과 머무는 곳, 만나는 모든 사람 속에서 주님의 영광만 드러나기를 간절히 기도했습니다.또한 팀원 모두가 안전하게, 건강하게 목적지에 잘 도착하도록, 그리고 선교 일정 동안 하나님의 은혜와 능력으로 충만하도록 기도해 주시기를 부탁드립니다. 함께 찍은 단체 사진을 보며, 하나님께서 이 여정을 통해 이루실 놀라운 일을 기대합니다. 이번 단기선교가 팀원 각자와 브라질 현지 교회, 그리고 만나는 영혼들에게 하나님의 사랑과 복음의 능력을 흘려보내는 귀한 시간이 되기를 소망합니다.승주찬!  

 일본 선교 여덟째 날이자, 오고세 교회에서의 사역 둘째 날이 시작되었습니다. 오늘은 전체 일본 선교의 마지막 날이기도 합니다. 대원들은 아쉬움이 남지 않도록 최선을 다해 VBS 사역에 집중하였습니다.율동 찬양, 성경 공부, 크래프트, 게임 등 전날과 같은 프로그램이었지만, 오늘은 특별히 아이들이 하나님을 영접할 수 있도록 이끄는 소중한 시간이 있었습니다. 레베카 전도사님께서 아이들 눈높이에 맞춰 전해주신 십자가의 의미, 선교 대원이 몸으로 표현한 스킷을 통해 아이들에게 복음을 증거하였습니다. 그리고 ‘하나님께서 값없이 주신 사랑인 구원을 받겠냐?’는 질문에 10명 중 4명의 아이들이 손을 들었습니다. 손을 든 아이들에게 선생님들은 함께 다가가 축복 기도를 해주었습니다.저희가 오고세 교회를 방문한 것은 올해로 세 번째입니다. 첫 두 해에는 오고세 교회의 장훈 목사님의 부탁으로 VBS 시간에 ‘하나님을 영접하는’ 순서를 생략했었습니다. 아직 아이들이 준비가 되어 있지 않다는 이유 때문이었지요. 그래서 올해 처음으로 아이들에게 하나님의 영접 시간을 가진 것입니다. 그리고 귀중한 4명의 영혼이 하나님께로 나아왔습니다. 조막만 한 손을 조심스럽게 들던 아이들의 모습이 어찌나 감동스럽던지, 눈물이 찔끔 나왔어요. 이 아이들이 자라가며 교회 안에서 잘 양육받기를, 그리고 아직 손을 들지 않은 6명의 아이들도 곧 하나님을 만나기를 계속 기도합니다.모든 VBS 사역이 끝난 후, 집으로 돌아가는 아이들과 아쉬움을 달래며 일일이 기도해 주고 인사하며 “내년에 또 만나자”고 약속하였습니다.VBS 사역을 마친 후, 데코레이션을 모두 철거하고 교회를 정리한 뒤, 선교 대원들은 내일 귀국편에 오르기 위해 도쿄 시부야 교회로 향하였습니다. 시부야 교회에서 1박을 한 뒤 바로 공항으로 갈 예정입니다. 전철로 오고세에서 시부야 교회로 이동하는 동안, 감사하게도 양 교회의 목사님들께서 차량으로 대원들의 많은 짐을 옮겨 주셨습니다.The eighth day of our Japan mission began, which was also the second day of ministry at Ogose Church.Today marked the final day of our entire mission trip to Japan.Determined not to leave with any regrets, our team gave their all in serving through the final day of VBS.The program was similar to the day before—praise with motions, Bible study, crafts, and games.However, today included a very special moment: a time for the children to respond to the gospel and accept Christ.Pastor Rebecca gently explained the meaning of the cross in a way the children could understand,and the gospel was further shared through a skit performed by our mission team.When the question was asked, “Would you like to receive the free gift of salvation that God offers?”four out of the ten children raised their hands.The teachers immediately gathered around them to pray blessings over each one.This year marks our third visit to Ogose Church.In the first two years, Pastor Janghoon of Ogose Church had requested that we refrain from having an invitation to accept Christ during the VBS,believing the children were not yet ready.But this year, for the first time, we were able to offer the children a chance to respond to the gospel.And by God’s grace, four precious souls came forward to Him.The image of those tiny hands cautiously rising brought tears to our eyes.We continue to pray that these children will grow in faith and be nurtured well within the church,and that the remaining six children will also encounter God in His perfect timing.After VBS concluded, we said goodbye to the children one by one, praying over them and exchanging hugs and promises—“Let’s meet again next year!”Following the VBS, we dismantled all decorations, cleaned and packed up the church,and then made our way to Shibuya Church in Tokyo in preparation for tomorrow’s return flight.We are scheduled to spend one night there and head straight to the airport the next morning.While we traveled by train from Ogose to Shibuya,we were so grateful that the pastors of both churches kindly transported all our heavy luggage by car. 마지막 사역을 앞둔 아침, 선교 대원들은 워십과 서로를 위한 중보 기도를 통해 영적으로 무장하였습니다. 선교 기간 내내 매일 아침과 저녁에는 사역을 위해 기도의 분량을 계속 쌓아왔습니다.On the morning of our final day of ministry, the mission team prepared spiritually through worship and intercessory prayer for one another.Throughout the entire mission trip, we faithfully built up prayer each morning and evening, covering every part of our ministry in prayer.Look Closer!!!!!  전도사님께서는 우리가 원래는 선한 존재(깨끗한 물)였지만, 죄로 인해 죽을 수밖에 없는 존재(더러워진 물)가 되었고, 십자가를 통해 다시 깨끗해진 물로 구원을 받는다는 복음의 핵심 메시지를 교보재를 활용해 쉽게 설명해주셨습니다.The pastor illustrated the core message of the gospel using a visual aid, explaining that we were originally good and pure like clean water,but because of sin, we became corrupted and destined for death—like dirty water.Through the cross, however, we are made clean again and receive salvation.시부야, 고베, 오고세. 선교 대원들은 총 세 번의 스킷 공연을 진행했습니다. 스킷이 있는 전날 밤이면 늦게까지 리허설을 진행했고, 공연 당일에는 항상 시작 전에 함께 모여 기도로 준비했습니다. 공연이 거듭될수록 점점 완성도가 높아졌고, 아이들에게 메시지가 더욱 잘 전달되었던 것 같습니다.Shibuya, Kobe, and Ogose—our mission team performed a gospel skit three times in total.The night before each performance, we stayed up late rehearsing,and on the day of the skit, we always gathered beforehand to pray together.With each performance, the quality improved, and we felt that the message was being communicated to the children more effectively each time. 스킷 공연이 끝난 뒤, 전도사님께서 아이들에게 그 의미를 다시 한번 쉽게 설명해 주셨습니다.After the skit performance, the pastor took time to explain its meaning once again in a way the children could easily understand. 이후 다 함께 기도한 후, 영접을 원하는 아이들에게 손을 들라고 권했을 때, 4명의 귀중한 영혼이 손을 들었습니다. 대원들은 준비하고 있던 대로 아이들에게 다가가 진심을 다해 축복 기도를 해주었습니다.After praying together, the children were invited to raise their hands if they wanted to receive Jesus—and four precious souls responded.Just as they had prepared, the team members gently approached the children and prayed heartfelt prayers of blessing over each one.  전철을 통해 오고세에서 시부야로 다시 이동하는 길.Heading back to Shibuya by train after our time in Ogose.-------------------이렇게 하나님의 은혜 가운데, 모든 일본 선교 사역이 마무리되었습니다.시부야 교회에 도착한 저희는 이곳에서 1박을 한 후, 아침 식사를 마치고 클린업 및 마무리 짐 정리를 한 뒤 곧바로 공항으로 이동할 예정입니다.By the grace of God, our mission work in Japan has come to a close.Upon arriving at Shibuya Church, we planned to stay one night, have breakfast the next morning, clean up, finish packing, and head straight to the airport.유년부, 중·고등부, 청년부, 장년부로 구성된 26명의 선교 대원들은 이번 일본 선교를 통해 각자 풍성한 은혜를 받았습니다.폭염과 피로 속에서도 맡은 자리에서 끝까지 사명을 감당했고, 매일 아침과 저녁 워십과 기도로 영적 무장을 게을리하지 않았습니다.시부야와 오고세에서는 VBS 사역을 통해 수많은 어린 영혼들을 만났고, 고베에서는 선교사님들께서 오랜 시간 관계 맺어 오신 가정을 만나 성인 대상의 사역을 함께했습니다.저희가 만난 일본 영혼들 중 다수는 하나님을 전혀 알지 못하거나, 영접 후에도 제대로 된 말씀 양육을 받지 못한 상태였습니다.그들을 위해 저희는 지금도 계속 마음 다해 기도하고 있습니다.처음엔 우리가 일본 영혼들을 도와주고, 그들에게 복음을 전하러 왔다고 생각했지만, 선교의 여정을 걸으며 깨달았습니다.사실 더 많은 것을 받은 쪽은 바로 우리 자신이었고, 하나님께서 준비하신 은혜의 자리로 우리가 초대받았던 것이었습니다.선교는 누군가를 변화시키기 전에, 먼저 우리 안의 믿음을 다시 일으키고, 복음의 감격을 되새기게 만드는 하나님의 선물임을 깊이 느꼈습니다.이제 다시 미국의 일상으로 돌아가지만, 선교 현장에서 받았던 이 은혜가 일회성 감동에 그치지 않고, 삶 속에서 실천되고 완성되어 가기를 소망합니다.복음은 여행이 아니라, 삶이기에 — 우리는 일상 속 선교사로서의 걸음을 계속 이어가려 합니다.예수님의 지상 명령인 ‘땅끝까지 복음을 전하라’는 말씀을 따라, 일본 선교는 앞으로도 계속될 것입니다.그리고 내년에는 여러분이 그 사명의 주인공이 되시기를 믿고 소망합니다.지금까지 일본 선교 일지를 읽어주셔서 진심으로 감사드립니다. 이원종 드림.A total of 26 mission team members—ranging from children and youth to young adults and adults—each received abundant grace through this Japan mission trip.Despite the intense heat and exhaustion, every team member faithfully fulfilled their role to the end,remaining spiritually equipped through daily morning and evening worship and prayer.In Shibuya and Ogose, we encountered many young souls through VBS ministry,while in Kobe, we joined in adult-focused outreach built upon long-standing relationships nurtured by local missionaries.Many of the Japanese souls we met either had never heard of God or, even after accepting Christ, had not received proper discipleship.We continue to pray for them with all our hearts.At first, we thought we had come to help the Japanese people and lead them to Christ,but as we walked through this journey of mission, we came to realize something deeper:it was we who had received even more.We were the ones invited to God's appointed place of grace.Mission work, we came to understand, is not just about transforming others—it’s a divine gift that first awakens our own faith and renews our joy in the gospel.As we now return to our everyday lives in the U.S.,we pray that the grace we received on the mission field would not remain a fleeting moment of inspiration,but would be lived out and fulfilled through our daily walk.Because the gospel is not a destination—it is a way of life.And so we choose to continue walking as everyday missionaries, wherever we are.In obedience to Jesus' Great Commission—"Go and make disciples of all nations"—our mission to Japan will continue.And next year, we pray that you will be the one to  일본 선교 일곱째 날이자, 오고세 교회에서의 사역 첫날이 시작되었습니다.대원들은 새누리교회 홈페이지에 올라온 저희 사역 영상이 광고로 소개되는 장면을 모두 기쁘게 시청했습니다.시골 지역이라 그런지 VBS에 참여한 학생 수는 많지 않았습니다. 딱 10명.하지만 그 덕분에 아이들과 더 밀착해 깊이 있는 시간을 보낼 수 있었습니다.늘 그렇듯 VBS 첫날에 처음 온 아이들은 조금 긴장한 모습이었어요.그러나 선생님들이 환한 웃음으로 먼저 다가가자, 아이들은 금세 마음을 열고 함께 뛰어놀기 시작했습니다."매그니파이!" 찬양과 율동을 통해 하나님의 사랑이 아이들 마음에 스며들기 시작했고,전도사님께서 인도하신 성경 공부 시간과 선생님들과 함께한 크래프트 활동을 통해 자연스럽게 복음의 씨앗이 뿌려졌습니다.맛있는 점심 식사 후 이어진 게임, 크래프트, 찬양 시간 속에서 아이들은 완전히 마음의 문을 열었지요.기도를 드리기 위해 조막만 한 두 손을 모은 모습은 얼마나 사랑스럽고 귀엽던지요.VBS 사역을 마친 후, 아이들은 집으로 돌아갔습니다.저녁까지 약 2~3시간이 남은 시간, 신청한 대원들에 한해 인근 지역으로 ‘땅밟기’ 사역을 나갔습니다.늦은 오후, 여전히 무더운 날씨였지만 바울이 미전도 지역을 향해 순례의 길을 걸었던 것처럼,선교대원들은 일본의 한적한 시골 길을 걸으며 하나님을 알지 못하는 영혼들을 위해 복음을 전했습니다.무더운 날씨도 대원들의 열정을 이기지 못했습니다.The seventh day of our Japan mission began, marking the first day of ministry at Ogose Church.Our team members were delighted to see a video featuring our mission work being introduced as a promotional clip on the Saenuri Church website.Since Ogose is a rural area, there weren’t many children participating in the VBS—just ten.But that allowed us to spend more personal and meaningful time with each of them.As is often the case on the first day of VBS, the children were a bit shy and nervous at first.However, when the teachers approached them with bright smiles, they quickly opened up and began to play joyfully together."Magnify!" Through praise and dance, God's love began to seep into their hearts.During Bible study led by the pastor, and through craft activities with the teachers, seeds of the gospel were gently sown in their hearts.After a delicious lunch, the children fully opened their hearts during the afternoon of games, crafts, and more praise.Their tiny hands folded in prayer were so precious and heartwarming.After the VBS ended, the children went home.With about 2–3 hours left until dinner, some of our team members who had signed up headed out for a prayer walk in the neighborhood.Though it was a hot and humid afternoon, just like Paul who walked toward unreached lands,our team walked the quiet countryside paths of Japan, meeting souls who do not yet know God and sharing the gospel with them.The heat was no match for the passion of the team. 습기운을 흠뻑 머금은 작열하는 열기가 사방에서 피어오르던 오후,그러나 선교대원들은 일본 영혼들을 위해 길을 나섰습니다.The scorching afternoon air was thick with heat, rising all around us— but our mission team set out anyway, determined to reach the souls of Japan. 본격적인 ‘땅밟기/노방전도’ 사역에 앞서 단체 사진 한 컷!Before beginning our official prayer walk and street evangelism, we paused for a group photo! 청년부의 현 형제는 길에서 만난 한 할머니께 먼저 다가갔습니다.현 형제는 오고세 교회를 나설 때부터 다짐했어요. “오늘은 꼭, 누구든지 먼저 말을 걸어보자.” 미리 알고 있던 몇 마디 일본어에, 현지에서 배운 표현을 덧붙여 복음을 전하려 했습니다.일본 영혼들을 만날 때마다 늘 앞장서는 형제의 용기와 믿음이 참 귀했습니다.Hyun, a young adult team member, approached an elderly woman he met on the road. He had made a personal vow before leaving Ogose Church: “Today, I’ll be the one to start the conversation—no matter what.” With a mix of Japanese phrases he already knew and some new expressions he had picked up locally, he set out to share the gospel. Hyun’s courage and heart to always take the first step when encountering people in Japan were truly admirable.하지만 일본 분들은 쉽게 마음을 열어주지 않았습니다.지나가는 몇몇 분들께 복음을 전하려 말을 걸었지만, 대부분 바쁘다며 발걸음을 재촉하셨죠. 그렇게 교회로 돌아가던 길, 한 어르신이 자택 뜰에서 일하고 계시는 모습이 보였고,현 형제가 다시 한번 먼저 다가갔습니다.“저희는 미국에서 온 한국인인데요.이 근처에 계신 분들과 이야기 나누고 싶어서 찾아왔습니다. 잠시 시간 괜찮으실까요?”놀랍게도 어르신은 “네, 괜찮아요”라고 응답하셨습니다.저희는 뛸 듯이 기뻤고, 주어진 시간을 최대한 값지게 쓰고자 노력했습니다.교회 선교 앱의 복음 메시지를 끝까지 읽어주시길 부탁드렸고,복음 팔찌를 하나하나 설명드렸습니다.안타깝게도 그 자리에서 영접으로 이어지지는 못했어요.예수님 이야기가 나오자, 어르신은 “우리 집은 절이야!”라며 웃으셨습니다.대대로 불교 집안이라고 하셨지만,우리는 끝까지 진리는 하나뿐이라는 사실,가능하다면 오고세 교회에 한번 방문해 보시라는 권유,그리고 마지막으로 복음 팔찌를 채워드렸습니다.비록 영접은 이루어지지 않았지만,저희는 복음을 끝까지 전하려 애썼고,그 말씀을 끝까지 들어주신 어르신을 위해 기도를 드렸습니다.성함은 오오모리 미사키.미국에 돌아간 뒤에도 미사키 상을 위해 계속 기도하려 합니다.But the hearts of the people here weren’t easily opened. He tried reaching out to a few passersby, but most simply said they were busy and kept walking. On the way back to the church, they saw another elderly man working in a field. Once again, Hyun stepped forward.“We’re Koreans visiting from the U.S.,” he said. “We’d love to talk with neighbors in this area—do you have a moment?” To our surprise, the man answered, “Sure, I don’t mind.” We were overjoyed and made every effort to use that time meaningfully.We kindly asked him to read through the gospel message on the church’s mission app and explained the meaning of each bead on the gospel bracelet. Unfortunately, he didn’t accept Christ on the spot. When we mentioned Jesus, he said with a smile, “Our family runs a Buddhist temple!” He shared that he had grown up in a Buddhist household for generations.Still, we did not give up. We explained again that there is only one truth, invited him to visit Ogose Church someday, and finally fastened the gospel bracelet on his wrist. Although we couldn’t lead him to faith that day, we faithfully shared the full gospel, and he graciously listened until the end. His name is Misaki Ōmori. Even after returning to the U.S., we plan to continue praying for Mr. Misaki. 시부야 교회에서의 VBS 사역을 먼저 경험한 덕분에,오고세 교회에서는 훨씬 더 익숙하게 사역에 임할 수 있었습니다.한 번 해봤기 때문이죠.우리는 오늘의 이 익숙함처럼,복음 전하는 일이 삶의 일부가 되고,결국 삶 그 자체가 되기를 소망하며 기도합니다.내일은 오고세에서의 마지막 사역 사진과 함께 다시 찾아뵙겠습니다.승리하신 주님을 찬양합니다.Because we had already experienced the VBS program in Shibuya, we were much more confident and prepared during the VBS at Ogose Church. Once you’ve done it before, it feels more familiar.And just like that growing familiarity, we pray that sharing the gospel becomes not just part of our lives, but the very rhythm of our daily living. 고베에서 맞은 일본 선교 여섯째 날, 이곳은 주일이었습니다. 주일예배를 드리기 위해 송효식, 송지연 선교사님이 협력하고 계시는 롯코 아일랜드 교회를 방문하였습니다. 현지 교인들의 따뜻한 환대를 받으며 1부 예배에 참여하였고, 2부로는 저희가 준비한 간증과 특송을 하였습니다.예배를 마친 후, 교회 측에서 준비해주신 점심을 먹고 아쉬운 작별 인사를 남긴 뒤, 다음 행선지인 오고세 교회로 향했습니다. 오고세는 도쿄에서 1시간 반 정도의 거리(사이타마현)에 위치하고 있습니다. 전철 → 신칸센 → 전철 등 꽤 복잡한 교통수단을 이용해야 했고, 전철을 타면서도 2~3회 갈아타야 했지요.여러 가지 이동상의 어려움 끝에 저녁 무렵 마침내 오고세 교회에 도착했고, 이곳을 섬기고 계신 장훈 목사님의 따뜻한 환대를 받았습니다. 비록 피곤했지만, 힘을 모아 내일부터 시작될 VBS 사역을 준비하기 위해 예배당 장식 작업에 바로 들어갔습니다.On our sixth day of the mission in Japan, it was Sunday. We attended worship at Rokko Island Church (六甲アイランド教会), where Missionaries Hyoshik and Jiyoun Song are actively serving in partnership.We were warmly welcomed by the local congregation and joined the first service. During the second part of the program, our team shared testimonies and a special song we had prepared.After the service, we enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by the church and said our heartfelt goodbyes. Then we headed to our next destination — Ogose Church, located in Saitama Prefecture, about an hour and a half from Tokyo.The journey involved multiple transfers — from local trains to the shinkansen and back to local trains — making it a fairly complex trip.After some travel challenges, we finally arrived at Ogose Church in the evening and were warmly greeted by Pastor Janghoon, who oversees the church.Though we were tired, we gathered our strength and got to work decorating the sanctuary in preparation for the upcoming VBS ministry that will begin here tomorrow.  2부 순서로, 저희 팀에서 준비한 신앙 간증을 하였습니다. 이원종 형제가 일본어로 일본 선교에 대한 개인적인 경험과 이번 선교를 결심하게 된 과정을 간증으로 나눴습니다. As the second part of the service, our team shared a faith testimony. Brother Won-Jong gave his testimony in Japanese, sharing his personal experiences with mission work in Japan and the journey that led him to take part in this mission.어제에 이어 하루카 자매의 간증이 있었습니다. 불교 집안에서 태어난 그녀가 방황끝에 그리스도인이 된 감동적인 이야기였습니다.Following yesterday’s program, Sister Haruka shared her testimony. It was a moving story of how she, born into a Buddhist family, wandered for a time before ultimately becoming a Christian. 저희 선교대원이 준비한 일본어 찬양을 특송으로 불렀습니다. 제목은 꽃도(花も). 일본분들도 모두 함게 불러주셨어요.Our mission team sang a special song in Japanese that we had prepared — the worship song "Hana mo" (花も). To our joy, the Japanese congregation joined in and sang along with us.헤이지기 전 송효석, 송지연 선교사님과 기념 사진을 찍었습니다. 이곳에서의 기억을 오래오래 남기고 싶었습니다.Just before we left, we took a photo with Missionaries Hyoshik and Jiyoun Song — a small way to capture the precious memories we hope to cherish for years to come.---------------롯코 아일랜드 교회에서의 예배를 마치고, 오고세 교회로 이동하기 위해 대원들은 신칸센을 타고 도쿄로 향했습니다. 가는 길이 다소 험난(?)했지만 하나님의 은혜로 무사히...Following the worship service at Rokko Island Church, our team took the Shinkansen toward Tokyo to continue our journey to Ogose Church. Though the trip had its hurdles, we arrived safely — all by God’s grace.신간센을 탄 직후의 선교대원들의 모습입니다.This is what our mission team looked like right after getting on the Shinkansen — tired but joyful!30분뒤의 모습입니다. 모두 너무 피곤했어요!30 minutes later… this was the scene. Everyone was completely exhausted!신칸센 도쿄역에 내린뒤, 오고세까지 가기 위해 전철로 갈아탑니다.After arriving at Tokyo Station by Shinkansen, we transferred to a local train to continue our journey to Ogose.도쿄역에서 이케부쿠로역까지 한번, 이케부쿠로에서 사카도역까지 한번, 전철을 두번 갈아타는 복잡한 경로를 거쳐 드디어 오고세 교회가 있는 사이타마현의 부슈카라사와역에 도착했습니다. 복잡한 신칸센 및 전철 이동시, 일본 지리에 익숙한 강사룡 형제가 팀원을 이끌어 주었습니다. 형제님이 아니었으면 대원들 모두 미아가 되었을 거에요.After two train transfers — first from Tokyo Station to Ikebukuro, then from Ikebukuro to Sakado — we finally arrived at Bushi-Karasawa Station in Saitama Prefecture, where Ogose Church is located. Navigating the complex journey involving both Shinkansen and local trains wasn’t easy, but Brother Saryong, who knows Japan well, guided our team every step of the way. Honestly, without him, we all might have gotten completely lost!   부슈카라사와 역에 도착하니, 오고세 교회의 장훈 목사님 뿐 아니라, 김현 목사님께서도 시부야에서 차를 가지고 와주셔서, 대원들 무두 짐을 실을 수 있었습니다. 덕분에 교회까지 걷는 걸음이 한층 가벼웠습니다.When we arrived at Bushi-Karasawa Station, not only was Pastor Janghoon from Ogose Church there to greet us, but Pastor Hyun Kim also drove all the way from Shibuya to help. Thanks to them, we were able to load all of our luggage into their cars, making the walk to the church much lighter — both physically and in spirit.선교대원이 오고세 교회에 도착한 직후, 오고세 교회를 섬기고 계시는 장훈 목사님께서 대원들과 2박3일간의 사역을 위해 기도를 해주셨습니다.As soon as we arrived at Ogose Church, Pastor Hoon Jang, who faithfully serves the congregation, lifted us up in prayer — blessing the team for the two nights and three days of ministry ahead. 저녁 식사후 VBS 준비를 하는동안 오고세 교회의 밤은 이렇게 저물고 있었습니다.While we spent the evening getting ready for VBS, the night gently fell upon Ogose Church.도쿄의 시부야 교회와 달리, 오고세 교회가 있는 지역은 전형적인 시골 지역입니다. 그래서 VBS에 참여할 아이들도 10명 남짓이고요. 내일 만날 아이들이 어떤 아이들일지 무척 궁금해집니다. 내일 이들의 사진과 함께 다시 찾아뵙겠습니다! Unlike the Shibuya Church in the heart of Tokyo, Ogose Church is located in a quiet, rural area. Only about ten children are expected to attend the VBS here, and we’re already wondering what kind of little ones we’ll meet tomorrow. We’ll be back with their photos and stories in our next update!
